I keep getting the following Application error message:The instruction at 0x00007FF82D73D24D referenced memory at 0x00000000000000018. The memory could not be read. How do you stop this from popping. I have done the repair option. Uninstalled and re-installed. Uninstalled>deleted all things Adobe, and reinstalled with no change in the situation. Seems to pop when opening a PDF from Outlook. Running Windows 11, New Outlook, and latest version of Adobe.

I'm on a Windows 10 machine and Adobe PDF is locking when I open attachments from Outlook. The product completely locks up. Look at these screenshots.  

Hi, I am having this error like many others and unable to find a resolution.The instruction at 0x00007ffd3edebf9d referenced memory at 0x00000000000018. The memory could not be read.This is happening for me and another user. Both of us are using Adobe Acrobat Pro (paid) it doesnt seem to be happening to those that are using Free Adobe Acrobat. The error appears to show up at the same time as the AI banner but when I turn this off the error still shows.I can close the error and use Acrobat, however every new file I open via email, file manager or Teams triggers the error.I have:- Uninstalled and reinstalled- Disable New Adobe- moved back to "old" Outlook- Ran Adobe Repair- preferences > security (enhanced) > turn OFF Enable protected mode- preferences > accessibility > turn OFF enable assistive technology- preferences > generative AI > turn OFF enable- preferences > generative AI > turn OFF bannerVersion is 2025.001.20474 | 64bit Please help as this is

Hello, One of my clients is getting the attached error when using adobe. This has happened after a fresh reinstall including using Acroclean & downloading from creative cloud desktop.  I have had this issue previously in March were the device was reimaged and it fixed the issue. However since the customer in at a remote site, it is a bit difficult to do that.  If anyone has any suggestions for a fix that would be great. He is using a lenovo ThinkPad L15 G2 if anyone needs that information, He also has an Adobe Pro license.  ThanksWil  

The Adobe Acrobat Error Reporter doesn't show up when these crashes happen. An error dialog like below shows up instead. I cannot attach the .dmp files from Adobe Acrobat due to the community forum restrictions. 

Is there a fix for this error? Pops up everytime I open a pdf. 

few users in our company have been getting the referenced memory error when opening pdfs as shown in screeshot below.  already tried: - clean reinstall using acrocleaner tool  -latest updates installed -win11 uptodate

Hi Folks, I have a user that is experiancing a memory error when attemting to open a PDF in Adobe Acrobat. "The instruction at 0x0000000071C80670 referenced memory at 0x0000000071C80670. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program."It seems that when he clicks OK, the pop error disapperars and the program seems to work normally. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone have suggestions for a resolution?

This only started recently in March 2025, but every time I open a .pdf using Adobe Acrobat I get a repetitive Windows - Application Error message. It says:The instruction at 0x00000000756C8E6D (previously) 0x0000000005DA88E6D (currently) referenced memory at 0x00000000000018. The memory could not be read. I can't find anything current within either the MS or Adobe communities or online about this specific error message.  Please help!

I have multiple users who are reporting this issue that comes up when using Acrobat: There isn't a specific action that causes it; for one user, it comes up when they save a PDF document. One user has it come up for almost every action--combining PDFs, editing, signing, etc.--and it constantly interrupts their work. They are both on the latest version, Adobe Acrobat 64-bit 25.001.20435.I have tried fixing generic Windows errors through chkdsk, sfc /scannow, and DISM. I made sure drivers were up to date. However, the error seems to only come up when using Acrobat, so I think I have mostly ruled out a generic Windows error or memory error. Looking at the event viewer logs, I do see error 1328 coming up for both. Here is the full error: Product: Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) -- Error 1328.Error appliying patch to file C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat Elements\ContextMenu64.dll.  It has probably been updated by other means, and con no longer be modified by this p

I'm facing an issue when reading pdfs i get windows application error- referenced memory couldnt be read.This happend to me before on my previous laptop and i changed to new laptop fresh windows install. after few months the issue came back on the new laptop. I tried the following:uninstall adobe acrobat reader from control panel and then restart > install adobe acrobat readerI uninstalled adobe acrobat reader and removed all adobe folders in program files/program files (x86) and appdata\temp. also ran adobecleaner then restarted and installed adobe acrobat reader again.  The issue is still ongoing. 

I do not know what to do with this.  I uninstalled and then installed again and I am still having an issue.  Doesn't matter which PDF I open.

The memory could not be read. My troubleshooting steps so far:1. Uninstall all adobe products, restart and then install only adobe. Crash2. Repaired after another restart. Crash3.  Manually deleted all adobe files (I could not delete all only some because I was not allowed)4. Used windows uninstall tool, uninstalled adobe and deleted all files in program files and program files x86.5. Restarted, installed adobe - crash again and cry. The crash happens only when I attempt to login to the software, I can open PDFs with no issues. I have the crash logs (.dmp) and registry "windows error reporting" files but cannot post them here.

Hi, trying to convert pdf files to jpeg/jpg. The original pdf is, say, 11Mb but the jpg file will only be 50kb what is useless to me. Is there a way to get better resolution? The library where I scanned the photos can only scan in pdf format, otherwise I would have done it in jpg to start with. thanks.

When I want to tick something, I use the draw freehand tool. But past 2 days, it is going wrong. I click the mouse, hold it and draw something. But as soon as I lift my finger, it switches instantly to "Select" tool. I tried re downloading Adobe Acrobat. But everytime, the same happens. I'll be happy to recieve response.

I have a user who has is opening up a PDF document from our Companies intranet website on google chrome.  periodically she gets an Access Denied message when using CTRL-F to do a searchshe does have an account for Adobe Standard and she is logged in to her account one day she can search the document fine without issues another day, the same document, she has to manually scroll through it because she gets access denied I have asked her check and see if she has the same issue on Edge but it might be a couple days  any idea why she would this would be happening?

Hello there,  I'm trying to install Acrobat Pro DC but when I launch the installer it fails with the following diagnostic " not enough storage is available to process this command". The installation is on Windows 10 (64bit)  platformThanks in advanceagata 

I have perpetual licenses of Acrobat Standard 2020, but when I completed the installation of software, I could not Sign in my Account to conplete the activation.The code was generated and sent to my email when I inputed into the software, it was loading and requested me to sign in again without any error notification. When manualy tagging the reading order in "adobe acrobat continuous release, version 2025.001.20693 64 bit", the number of the selection will jump to a wrong place in the reading order. For example, the text I am selecting should be number 35th in the reading order but acrobat makes it 7th in the reading order. Then when I try to move it to the correct placement it either will do nothing, or it will rearrange other elements in the reading order to the wrong place. Additionally, when I use the autotag Document feature it will always put things out of order and will not allow me to re-arrange the elements as stated above. Is there a fix for this or is this how it works? I am working on state documents that need to meet accessibility standards per governemnt guidlines for thousands of documents, and this is completely unacceptable from the company that makes the gold standard for design software. I have tried every work around that I can find online or that I have seen in the co
