This has been happening more and more lately. Maybe its Canva glitch I am not aware of? I will have clients send me PDF's that they make in Canva that look fine on screen. When I send to print, some text will drop out. Sometimes its full paragraphs and other times its just a few words. Ive tried using Acrobat to optimize and resave the PDF, save as a different type of PDF, even dropped the PDF's into InDesign and make a new PDF from that. Each time, everything looks ok on screen but the issues happen after printing. The only common thing I have found is that these PDF's are created from Canva. The only work around I have found is to convert all the pages to JPGs and make into a new JPG based PDF. Is there any kind of check or fix I can do with Acrobat instead of converting every PDF I receive to JPGs?
Does anyone know why Acrobat is still not multithreaded? I regularly use Acrobat Pro 2020 (standalone) to OCR single pdf files of c.2,000 pages or more. I am doing so as we speak on my i7-13700K 32gb DDR5-6400 machine. Acrobat is still single-threaded, so I only get 10% ultilisation and the task takes as long now as it did on my 5-year-old pc becuase it's limited to using one core, with the other 15 cores sitting unused. For a professional piece of software which should be the gold standard for the pdf format, that is embarrassing. Does Adobe have any intention of implimenting multithreading in future versions? Does anyone know of any standalone software which would do this job until then for less than c$100? As my work involves legally privileged files I can't upload the file to an online services to do this and as I only do this a few times a week, an enterprise level solution is out of my price range.
I have Adobe Acrobat Pro with Microsolft Excel 365. I want to convert a muti tab excel file into a multi tab PDF file. Every way I have tried resulted in the excel tabs combined into one PDF without tabs. Multiple tab excel. Trying to convert to a multiple tab PDF. How do I do this? Everything I have tried resulted in a single combined PDF file with no tabs.
I have assigned an Adobe Acrobat license to a member of staff and I’m within my subscribed amount of licenses but whenever I try to install the software onto their Windows 11 25h2 environment, it says there’s already an installed copy on the PC. When I try to uninstall, the system freezes and nothing happens. I have also tried uninstalling from the windows app setting but I can’t find it in the list on installed apps.Whilst I can recommend the staff use the web version, there is still a limited amount of functions allowed. Also, desktop version is just more convenient.Any advice on how to resolve this issue?
Merhaba, küçük ölçekli işletmeler için geliştirdiğimiz TeknikPlus servis takip yazılımımızda, müşterilerimize sunduğumuz servis formlarını Adobe Acrobat kullanarak daha profesyonel hale getirmek istiyoruz.Özellikle teknik servis formlarındaki dijital imza sürecini doğrudan yazılımımızla entegre etme konusunda deneyimi olan var mı? Formların standart PDF formatında kalması veri güvenliği açısından bizim için önemli. Teknik servis takip süreçlerimizi optimize ederken Acrobat'ın API imkanlarından nasıl daha verimli faydalanabiliriz?
When I try to download a file that was uploaded by adobe scan to https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents/files/ I get the error: Download error: Exceeded maximum number of files (50) or total size (100 MB).I only tried to download one file and I receive this error on all browsers and on my iPhone. Why?
Hello, I’m having an issue with remediating a large document that is 364 pages. The primary discrepancies that I am having are Regularity, converting tags in Fix Reading Order, and Tagged annotations. For Regularity, helpx.adobe.com says “tables must contain the same number of columns in each row, and rows in each column.” which I’m confused by because the tables look correct when going in table editor. Also, in Fix Reading Order, when I highlight like a paragraph of text and change to the Text/Paragraph tag, it looks like it makes any text around it that I didn’t select included in the same tag, like the screenshot of the text with the Link tagged. Also, with the Tagged annotations issue, I’m just not sure how to fix this as I’ve highlighted the text and tagged it but it still doesn’t fix the issue (screenshot with “Chapter 2: Fiscal Management…” highlighted) Any help with these issues would be appreciated. Thanks,
In Acrobat reader, when you hover over the document or more specifically the bottom of the document a toolbar pops up. I would like to remove this feature, the pop up always gets in the way.
I have some users that “build” PDFs by combing different PDFs into one. Throughout the process they have to add, organize, and delete pages. These files sit on a mapped server directory. The users have been confirmed to have full access to the directory and all included files. When they add or organize pages in the PDFs they are able to press the save icon and save without issue. The moment they delete a page and press save, the file name is changed to a .tmp file and they receive the following error.“The document could not be saved. Cannot save to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder”
i have created a PDF document, then prepared it as a form, alot of the document was auto filled by adobe, all seems fine after some tweaks here and there. the document is a engineer report form so i want to use it out in the field for engineers to fill out and ask the customer to sign. the form has e sign boxes on the relevant parts of the form but when opening on an apple device (iphone & ipad) the boxes arent there to be signed. i have tried a work around by using the fill & sign which works ok for the engineer but when requesting a signature it doesnt allow the sign box to be dropped into the form. any help will be appreciated. thanks
How do I turn off the stupid "AI generated content" label...?Stupid you ask? Yes, because it actually obscures the Comment label that happens to be on the image. So instead of be able to read the Comment, Adobe wants to “help” me out my bringing up a stupid label that has an image description, something I don’t care about — and nobody cares about. Please advise.(A.I. creates more problems than itsolves...)

I have just used AI Assistant via the web to analyse a pdf document that I uploaded. How do I save a copy of the AI analysis or export that analysis
What in the %$#@! does this popup mean? I can find no tab anywhere to sign in. The browser is chrome and I am signed in to it and am signed in to Acrobat. Since Acrobat is how 100% of my print projects output to Adobe PDF, being able to share by email directly from Acrobat is a big time saver. In this version, after setting Gmail as my default, the mail from Acrobat does not work like it did in the previous and provides a dumb, wait, very dumb, popup that stops the send.Forgive my rage, but it's almost like Adobe has people that look for procedures that work well, then say, "Hey, this is working well, let's see if we can **** it up."Thanks in advance for looking at my problem,Joe
I’m trying to use switch (event value) but not sure how to add multiple cases?
We recently upgraded the license on our Adobe Pro users with in our Organization. She uses PCC (Point Click Care) for her duties and when sharing reports she used to be able to click Share with in the PCC window and email as needed. Since upgrading the license her Icon turned Red from being Black and now she has to download the reports then Email. Curious if anyone else seen this and knows how to repair it, or is that feature gone.
I have been using Adobe Reader for years and in general have had not one complaint. But recently I’ve experienced an extremely annoying “jump” behaviour whilst scrolling through a document. You get towards the end of one page and suddenly “jump” to the next. I checked back on an old Windows 7 version of the Reader and found the document scrolled smoothly from one page to the next as if it were just one long page. Is there a setting for that ?
I find I cannot see the vertical scrollbar unless I wiggle the trackpad to make it appear and then try to grab the scroll handle before it vanishes again. I have set scroll handles in macOS to be 'always visible', but Acrobat overrides this setting and hides them.I have not a clue as to why anyone at Adobe thought I would not want to see one of the most essential attributes of screen nagivation, but I would like to be abe to choose, and ideally, for developers to stop hiding things, thereby sending me to google forever and a day to find out how to see them again.Same goes for obscure icons that are supposed to represent things like printers and so on, that I always have to mouseover to figure them out. Please assume I can speak English, and understand words like 'Printer'[.
I have 100 different flyers with a location menu on them and when we get a new location I have to edit all of them separate (Which takes me too long). I have a master now that I just paste into all of the flyers but was wondering if anyone knows of a way to change a files or a JS code that would change all my drop-down at once?
Hi allI’m having a mare with reader and margins. I have a large pdf that I need to print on A4 and then trim to size. Reader won’t let me change the margins in page setup - they are greyed out, and there is no ‘manage custom sizes’ in there like the help function says there is. When I print to actual size, as that’s what I need it to do, it places the images etc right at the top and left of the page which means its cutting off some of the print due to printer margins. ie its printing borderless when my printer doesn’t do borderless. Shown in the image - you can see the print preview shows it right at the edge of the paper. I’ve tried adjusting the binding offset in my printer settings but that’s not changing the adobe print preview I need it to print in the centre of the page but I can’t seem to find a way to do that. Any ideas please? Driving me nuts. Thanks in advance
Old bug, still not fixed:When you edit a pdf file and save it, the file size increases every time. Even if you perform some minor edits, like text edits. Eventually files grow in size x2 and more times. This should not happen. Word documents don’t change size much if you just alter some text without adding a lot of data. Here is a link to this issue asked before by an Adobe Community member:
Ich möchte wissen, wer die zugeordnete Adobe Acrobat Lizenz bisher nicht nutzt. Ich brauche eine Auswertung, wo ich als ADMIN in der Adminconsole sehen kann, wer wann angemeldet war.
Hi Adobe Team,I am a professional graphic designer and print specialist. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro daily for pre-press and production. I have a significant feature request that would benefit the global printing and publishing community.Currently, Adobe Acrobat lacks a native, professional-grade Page Imposition engine. For complex layouts like 8-up, 16-up, customized book signatures, or "Step and Repeat" for labels, we are forced to rely on very expensive third-party plugins (like Quite Imposing or Preps). It would be a game-changer if Adobe could integrate a dedicated Imposition Tool within the 'Print Production' toolset. We need the ability to: Set custom Gutter Margins and Gripper areas. Control Page Folding sequences and signatures. Automate Trim Marks and Bleed adjustments directly within the layout. The jump from InDesign to a print-ready PDF often requires manual imposition, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. Having this built into Acrobat would streamline the entire w
I want to know whether using Adobe Acrobat to reduce the file size of a PDF is completely safe. Specifically, I am concerned if the process of compressing or optimizing a PDF could somehow introduce viruses, malware, or corrupt the file. Many online tools claim to reduce PDF size, but I prefer to use the official Adobe software and want to ensure that it does not pose any security risks. Clarifying this will help me confidently use Adobe Acrobat for compressing PDFs without worrying about harming my computer or sharing unsafe files.
