Hi,Our site is all up and running using the Studio template (thank you RH). Unfortunately an issue has been logged that the print mechanism doesn't work. It opens up, the print window but doesn't retain any of the page's styling or images. I tried fiddling around & generating a simple output with a new Studio template, but the same issue remains. Similarly, selecting the 'Background Graphics' checkbox on the print mechanism doesn't help.I've attached a picture which hopefully shows what I mean - the font is in Times New Roman, and the blank spaces are where the images should be...Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi guys, do you know what tools Adobe are using to create and deploy the online User Guides? For example, here is the Illustrator User Guide page. https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/whats-new.html I'm interested in buying the tools to create and post our Online User Guides.
I have purchased Robohelp but no download appears. It does not appear in my products or in creative cloud apps.Clicking the get started button in the registration email directs me in an endless loop on the website. Can anybody help? <edit: e-mail address in plain text removed by admin for privacy reasons>
I have a frameless online help (Studio) skin output. I have setup a few microcontent terms with the intent and responses. For example:Intent: Revert to Approved PlanResponse: <Short description>When I seach for the strong Revert to Approved plan the correct short description is displayed as expected. However, if I search for only Approved Plan it displays the above short description. Which is incorrect. It should ideally not pick up the above response but display other topics. How can we handle this?
I have a project that was created in RoboHelp 15 and was recently converted to RoboHelp 2020. I had no problems generating printed documentation of the project in RoboHelp 15, but I am unable to generate the printed documentation in RoboHelp 2020. Note, I have a different project that was also converted to RoboHelp 2020 and have no problems generating printed documentation of that project. I googled this error and found threads that talked about the directory name being to long, so I shortened it -- did not fix the problem. I also saw a thread that talked about the mso-bookmark property in the .css being an issue, but that property does not exist in my .css. I chatted with an Adobe support person who recommended that I change my password and re-login and also to reinstall the Robohelp software. Neither of those solutions were of help. I am including the contents of the log file below. I am also attaching my .css file file to assist in tr

In RH2020 Update 5 it is possible to create folder names with dots (V2021.2) e. g.Robohelp interprets all objects with dot as file even if we create a folder. That is certainly a bug. Either you are not allowed to use dots in folder names or the folder with dots is also interpreted as a folder, right?
We are currently testing an export of Robohelp content into our new Translation Management System (TMS). We noticed that protected spaces are created from Robohelp. We have not yet found out when and why Robohelp creates these protected spaces. These then cause problems for us in the TMS during translation, as we sometimes get double spaces in the translation as a result. Attached is an example from us:We have created a text in RH2020. If we export it via copy & paste into Microsoft Word, the whole thing looks like this:All "°" symbols mean a protected space. We really need support on that topic. Thanks in advance.
Nice update! But: Converting projects from RH 2020.5 doesn't work?!Tried with our larger projects and with a mini test project as well - hangs on opening with "Reading files..." forever. What could be difficult or wrong?
HiI am using RH2020 Update 6.Is it possible to apply conditional tag to individual topic in the Related Topics list?
I have migrated a project from RH2019 Classic to the standard one. When I generate the classic version, it generates all topics, regardless if they're linked or not (there are some orphan topics). When I generate the standard version, it doesn't generate the topics that has no links at all with the "Default Topic". Is there a way of generating all the files like it was generated in the classic version?I currently have RH 2019.0.11.
Hello,I am having an issue trying to sign in to re-register Adobe RoboHelp 11. Yesterday, IT made some changes to my Virtual Desktop. They had to migrate it. Yesterday, I was able to open RoboHelp without any issues. Today, I tried opening it and it showed the Trial screen and an option to enter the serial number. I clicked on the Sign In button and it shows that I am not connected to the internet. That is wrong, because I can open Chrome and browse around the internet. I tried chatting with Adobe support, because I think there is something wrong with their sign in process. They were not helpful and said they do not support older software. Has anyone run into this issue before? If so, how did you resolve this? If I can’t get it resolved, do I need to re-install RoboHelp again? Thanks,Andre Here are some screenshots of the issue.
I am using the latest version of RH and сan't find English words in the localized version of the documentation using default search engine. Has anyone faced such a problem. Is there a solution or the ability to connect a normal search engine.
when i set a text to right alignment keeps getting back to left alignment when close my Topic and reopen it again
We have a frameless output and we are using studio skin. Recently the web server has been moved to AWS/S3/Cloudfront technology. The online help works as expected from the new web technology. There is just one small issue when we publish subsequent help content updates. The existing user still sees the cached help files. The user has an option to manually clear the cache and then access the new help updates. But if we dont want the user to manually clear cache the dev team suggested adding a small code snippet in the header of all html help files. <meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate"><meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache"><meta http-equiv="Expires" content="0">To manually add this to hundreds of html files is impossible. Is there a way to add it somewhere at one place inRobohelp and achieve this? Maybe the master page?Any thoughts/pointers?
I have a question from the dev team. I guess they only have the answer as it comes under dev area but just checking here. The application has a timeout for example 6 hrs. The help is integrated in the application. When the application timesout it asks the user to log in again as it signs out the user. What happens with the help is it does not allow further browsing or navigating to other topics once the timeout is exceeded. The testing team also noticed an instance where the toc remains intact but when the user tries navigating it shows error 403.The question from the dev team is from within RH do we have any way of handling timeout scenarios?
HiI am using RH10, TCS4 and am publishing to WebHelp. I create custom skin as per our branding guidelines and share it with my team.I am aware of deselecting the Glossary checkbox from the WebHelp Output settings. But is there a way I remove it from the custom skin itself so that they will have one task less to do while publishing the output?Sreekanth

Hi all,I'd like to customize the Red Green skin in RoboHelp 2020. I changed the colors of the functionbar and sidebar. The changes are displayed as expected in the skin preview, but aren't applied in the output. I cleared the cache and tried different browsers but the results are the same; the changes don't seem to have been applied. Any suggestions?
Hello, encountered a issue...a kind of gordian knot. I have 30 chm files. all of them represent chapters in a composed 'mother of all' chm file. I compile all the chm's to a common directory. So far so good. BUT nearly all of my sub chm's are referrring to external chm's via the baggage files. So you can perfectly make 'cross references' by links. The links in the project files are pointing to 'old' chm's via paths, they are not updated automatically at a change. At every compilation of a sub chm, my newer chm's are overwritten by old ones in my common target directory. My question is, how can I solve this... Stop compiling to a common directory? note which luggage files are used for which sub chm and manually copy the most recent ones in the right directory? check all links in all files and edit them? If a fast fix would be available, I would appreciate! best regards Olivier

Hi, I am currently working with the latest version of RoboHelp and have tried following the steps provided by Adobe on outputs and publishing. We want to generate an output and publish our work on Microsoft HTML. We have tried following steps but have no idea how to publish our work onto our software that we use. We understand how to use ''Contents'' and ''Table of Contents'' as well as importing and so on. However, we have not figured out how to simply take our work, generate the output and publish it onto our software system. We desperately need some guidance and help getting this done! Thanks!
For one of our project we had been using Rh2017 and generating Responsive HTML5 output. Now we have moved to RH2020 and for one last release we still need the Responsive HTMl5 output. we dont have Rh2017 anymore.I tried generating Responsive HTML5 output from Rh2020. The output comes out fine. everything works. However, the context-sensitive help calls are failing. It looks like it is not honoring the older tokens or is not able to search them in the map files.Does something change in the output that is generated from Rh2020 with regards to the map file?Any pointers on fixing this?I used the default responsive html5 output preset.
