Solved

I edit 10-20 minute videos for someone where I use many graphics, effects, and transitions. And almost every time, I have an issue with exporting. I have a pretty powerful PC for video editing, so it's very frustrating that this is always a problem.  Even when my entire timeline has been rendered and shows green, it still can't export. I've tried both hardware and software encoding, but neither work. And I can't change the video renderer either. It is grayed out, and stuck on "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)". I had adobe take virtual control over my PC to try and fix this before, but the only fix was to revert back to a much older version of premiere pro, where the option wasn't grayed out. We were able to switch renderers and it would finally export. I guess I made the mistake of keeping my Premiere up to date, and should just stay in an older version forever if I want it to work, but if anyone knows how to make it so I can change the renderer, I'm sure that

I am currently working on a script that can clean the DocumentAncestors in a .psd file. Since there are SmartObjects in the SmartObjects of the PSD, I am current trying to recursively iterate trough all layers, check if a layer is a SmartObject and if so, iterate into it and check if any further SmartObjects exist. If no more SmartObjects exist, the script starts to delete the DocumentAncestors recursively.  The problems:- it seems to iterate correctly through all the layers, but the removal not always seems to work, since there are many DocumentAncestor entries left in the PSD afterwards- the procedure is also very heavy on the woking volumes. I am currently trying to remove the Ancestors of a 800MB PSD and the working volumes need >150GB of space- after about 5-10 min, the variable which holds the current SmartObject becomes invalid The code implements several different little scripts and parts of users found on here (JJMack, Kukurykus just to name a

mac 15.5 photoshop26.5.0 を使っています。

Hi, I'm currently using the below indesign script to export named JPGS of each page. To work the script requires a text box with the filename on each page all linked by a common paragraph style. The script works perfectly to export JPGS, however I've been unable scucessfully adapt it to export EPS. Can anyone help? - if (app.documents.length != 0){var myDoc = app.activeDocument;MakeJPEGfile();} else {alert("Please open a document and try again.");}function myPS() {try {return myDoc.selection[0].appliedParagraphStyle;} catch (e) {alert("Place cursor to text with paragraph style for filenames");exit();}}function MakeJPEGfile() {app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegQuality = JPEGOptionsQuality.high;app.jpegExportPreferences.exportResolution = 300;app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegExportRange = ExportRangeOrAllPages.exportRange;app.findGrepPreferences = null;app.findGrepPreferences.appliedParagraphStyle = myPS();var f = myDoc.findGrep();for (var myCounter = 0; myCounter < f.length; myCou

Hi all, I need to fetch an image file via network request and then insert that file into an inDesign document. I think I know how to do the insertion, but I'm having trouble establishing the file in the script. Due to the locked down nature of UXP file system access, I'm first opening (i.e. creating) a file and then attempting to write the image binary to it. It seems to complete without error, but the output file png is not opening an image and is considered an unsupported type by the operating system. Any tips would be appreciated! async function fetchJson(url) { return fetch(url) .then((response) => { return response; }); } var response = await fetchJson("http link to image src file"); const imageBlob = await response.blob() const fs = require("uxp").storage.localFileSystem; const fileToWrite = await fs.getFileForSaving("output.png"); fileToWrite.write(imageBlob.arrayBuffer());

Hello All, I need to anchor an object to a 2-column text frame so that the object appears to the left of the left column or to the right of the right column depending on which column the anchor is in? And if the anchor is moved to a different column when editing the text, the anchored object moves to the correct location. Is it possible to do this using a single object style? The image shows a sample layout that I want to get. Thanks!

Earlier, my images used to get reviewed within nine days, but now it has been eleven days and they are still not reviewed. What could be the reason for this?

Hi Adobe Team and Community,I'm running into a persistent issue when working between Adobe Acrobat Pro and Illustrator.When I add a FreeText comment (annotation) in Acrobat Pro (for example: a label like "X2X5" placed near a barcode), the comment is clearly visible inside Acrobat — but completely disappears when I open the same PDF in Adobe Illustrator.I understand that Illustrator reads only the page content and not the annotations layer, but in many real-world workflows — especially for designers working with marked-up PDFs — it's crucial to have those comments embedded as part of the visible content so they appear in Illustrator for editing, outline conversion, or print.Suggested Solution / Feature Request:Please consider adding a native feature in Acrobat that allows users to:Convert selected comments (FreeText annotations) into actual text objects on the page.Flatten annotations into the page content in a way compatible with Illustrator.Or offer a "Print with Comments as Content"

I need an answer from Adobe, not the community!!! This is sooooooo difficult to get service from Adobe!!!!

Hello!Would the demo file "Pipesdemo.sbs" shown at the 0:52 mark of Lourise's Intro to Splines video available anywhere?https://youtu.be/QDcDc_g3RLM?si=FpKOMSD2TdBrEbDY&t=52I believe the closest is the Quick Tip #24: Cables and Pipes sbs, but I would be interested in digging in to the more complete example shown in the brief clip above!

I would like to exclude the "target cell" from being an footerRow.Isn't this "parentRows" a table row?myTable.columns.item(i).cells.item(j).parentRows.rowType !== RowTypes.FOOTER_ROWError: parentRows does not support the rowType property or method. var cell = app.activeDocument.selection[0].parent; var myTable = cell.parent; var myFooterRow = myTable.rows[-1]; for (var i = 0; i < myTable.columns.length; i++) { for (var j = 0; j < myTable.columns.item(i).cells.length; j++) { if ((myTable.columns.item(i).cells.item(j).contents == "") && (myTable.columns.item(i).cells.item(j).parentRows.rowType !== RowTypes.FOOTER_ROW)

Yesterday I created my Adobe account to be able to access Adobe Stock Contribution and upload content, however today when I tried to log in it appears to me that my account is inactive because I have several linked accounts, but I don't understand why, if I created a new account yesterday, does anyone know what I can do?

I created a design for a logomark that consists of a series of overlapping U shapes with a Multiply transparency applied. When placed over a dark field, depending on the hue, part of the design disappears or doesn't provide enough contrast. Is there any way to retain the original design with the multiply effect, but convert it to normal opaque transparency? I thought it might work by pasting an opaque white duplicate behind the original design, but the results are what you see in the 3rd image. Is this just the optical result of using these 2 hues of blue and green against a darker hue? Since it's a logomark, I need it to ideally be able to work against a variety of different backgrounds.

Hello. Would appreciate if someone can give clarity on the process to be followed after the UI design of an app has been completed in XD and the engineering team takes over.The front-end developers primarily need the following information of each artboard screen:1. Asset distribution2. Element dimension and distance measurements3. Color codes of all elements4. Font type, size, and color of text elementsNow #1 is clear because of the asset exportation feature of XD. But how do we go about # 2,3,4? Are we to expect the developers to install and run XD on their computer for this, working on the source file? Or is there a way like Invision's inspect feature that can give these details to the developers?There are about 100 front end developers in my organization. Does this mean I have to convince the management to (eventually) purchase Adobe XD for all 100 of them? The design team already has CC licenses, so no problem there. But I'm skeptical of getting clearance from Finance on 100 XD lic

I've repaired Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I then uninstalled and reinstalled but the prelifght panel won't open. All the other panels in the Print Production tool do open, but not preflight. You can see that it looks like it's activated, but that's it (see image). Hopeing someone can help. Thanks.

I'm using an InDesign template, running InDesign 2020. I'm adding a new text block to the project. Everything functions normally until I try to change the text to white. Then I get a blue background, like the highlighting function in Word. I can't find this under any of my text block panel settings. When I switch back to black text, it's transparent again. As you can see, it's not filling the whole block either.  I've searched other community questions and can't find anything about this particular issue. It's not a missing font, either. This is Minion Pro, and it's the same story for any other font I switch to.

Lightroom Classic 13.2 is not importing GPS Location Data. original files contain GPS coordinates. strangely panorama shots taken with the same phone camera (Huawei p50pro) imports the GPS coordinates correctly. i am importing the files by synchronizing the target folder. all import settings are set to "metadata is set to none in the "apply during import panel.i am running the latest Mac software Sonoma 14.4. i have tried Read Metadata from File' to force Lightroom to pull GPS data from the original files, but it didn't work. i have also tried synchronizing the folder again after importing them into Lightroom. I have also tried importing the images directly through the import option below the navigator pane. Still, the same result-no gps coordinates How can I fix this issue?note: I have viewed the images in Adobe Bridge with the same result. the panorama shot has the GPS coordinates but not the normal jpg.note 2. all location tags are on on my Huawei P50pro in all modes, also the gener

How did this box get there, and how do I get rid of it?  Thanks.

Apologies if this is already posted, couldn't find it but struggled to think of exact search terms that might work.I'm looking to create a striped text effect, like the title font for Netflix's Maniac (below).The best way I can think to achieve this is in Photoshop as an image/path but I'm really keen to keep it in an Indesign text box so that it's easy to edit. Does anyone have any suggestions?

When is adobe enhance 2 coming out? It says launching this october?

Following on from our announcement last year, we are removing tape and capture workflows from Premiere Pro, starting with the public Beta version 23.3 (build 14).   What is being removed: Edit to Tape panel  Capture panel  Support for third-party capture plug-ins  Capture project settings  Preferences > Capture  Preferences > Device Control  Menu commands related to the above functionality  Keyboard shortcuts related to the above functionality    What is not being removed: Support for third-party Mercury Transmit plug-ins Exporting to XDCAM drives mounted as a file system    We expect most editors won’t notice a change using this new version of Premiere Pro (Beta). If you do encounter any issues, especially with opening older projects that used tape capture in the past, please let us know in a comment below. Thank you!
