Solved

First I am extremely new to anything with adobe and everything I have been doing has been trial and error and a lot of looking on line but this last step has me stumped as I guess I do not have a "full blown" developer version of adobe.  Just had audit jump on me for "approving" invoices as I should have only "approved" the current charges.  So I made a dynamic stamp that has the time / date (that code is working) but when I try to fill out the identity I am running into issues.  This is the "code" I am using but guess the file name is not the same as the "stamp name".  if ((event.source.forReal)&&(event.source.stampName == "#ETn8uQFMCHNimOBiOYqMBA")) { event.value = identity.name; }Unfortuantely I do not have "Page template" nor "java control panel" nor "java console" and wondering if there is a way to get the "stamp name" for the file.... etn8u....... The code i am using for the data is working fine and is.......event.value = util.printd("h:MM tt

Hi,I just purchase Acrobat pro.  The prepare Form feature appears not working.  When I click on that, it says" this feature is getting installed, Please wait..."  I waited for hours, it is still giving me the same message as I click on it again.  What can be done to have it resolved?

In the thread below I discussed the problem of editing my MTS files, which are recorded in the full color range.It found that these are files in the xvYCC format.So according to the format description:xvYCC expands the chroma values to 1-254 (i.e. a raw value of -0.567–0.567) while keeping the luma (Y) value range at 16-235 (though Superwhite may be supported ***), the same as Rec. 709.(*** - In my case, the Y range is 16-255)And here I have questions.1. Does Premiere natively recognize xvYCC?If not, then:2. Can I edit movies in Premiere in the full chrominance (1-254) and luminance (16-255) range?That would be enough for me, because I would do the following:1. I would keep the UV chrominance range in the range of 1-254 (as required by the standard).2. I would correct the Y luminance to the level of 16-235 (my camera records in the range of 16-255).After saving the file, all I would have to do is edit the headers and add information about the xvYCC format (modify the Transfer-Encodin

Hello,Recently Adobe doesn't show my installed printers anymore. When I try to print any PDF there is only one of my printers listed and the standard "Microsoft print to PDF". All my other devices are not there. All other apps (Edge, Word, other PDF readers) list all my printers, they work without any issue. But Adobe seems to reject listing them all. I've already tried to reinstall, update and repair Adobe Reader but no success. Any help will be appreciated!

I have a script I have used to place Illustrator art inside of other open documents. It places them at the coordinates in the code. I have come up with the need to place dynamically created SVG files into Illustrator documents. When I try to use the script for placing SVG, it does not work (gives a bunch of errors). I can manually place the SVG file into Illustrator. However, I cannot have the position predetermined as the script can do. When I place the SVG, it is only the art, not any artboard or bounding area like the Illustrator (.ai) file. This works well for my application now. If there is any way to do it, I would like to find out. Thanks var doc = app.activeDocument; // Replace this with your actual file path var filePath = new File("C:/Test/data1990.svg"); if (filePath.exists) { var placedItem = doc.placedItems.add(); placedItem.file = filePath; // Assign file to placed item placedItem.position = [100, 200]; // X = 100, Y = 200 (Adjust as needed) } else {

I have version 10.2.1 of the Lightroom Mobile app for Android on my phone and I save all Album content locally.  That content is shared collections from LrC. Lately, I have been unable to access any of the photos in My Albums when not connected to Wifi and using cellular data.  I used to be able to do that.  Has there been a change to the app that prevents that?  Not being able to access those photos pretty much makes the Lightroom Mobile worthless to me. TIA

I am using a macbook air M3 up to date, and last version of Indesign.Before the recent updates, the text to image tool worked fine. But recently, i cannot use it at all, for as soon as I open this tool, it makes indesign crash.I tried to install the previous version, but did not make any difference.Would it be a conflict between IOS and indesign ?Other than that, Indesign works fine, as long as I do not open the text to image tool.Thank you in advance for your help.

I need assistance with the cancellation process, please. Thank you,WF

 Version of the App: Adobe Acrobat Pro, Continuous Release Version 2025-001.20435,Platform and OS Version: PC, Windows 11Basic Steps to Reproduce the Problem: See below + video.Expected result and actual result: I have set preferences for scanning to create a new PDF every time and it appends to an existing PDF if any PDF file is already open. When using Acrobat Pro for scanning, I am unable to get "My Custom Settings" to save "Create New PDF". It keeps going back to checking the box to "Append to existing file if I accidentally have any other PDFs open at the time of scanning. It works fine as long as NO OTHER PDF files are open at the time of scanning. If I catch the software's automatic choice of "append to existing" instead of my preferred "New PDF," I can get it to create new PDF, but I have to catch it every single time and I end up re-scanning about 1 in 8 or 1 in 10 and it causes a lot of re-work. Some files have accidentally been combined. I easil

hi ım a cartoon and animation studentCreative Cloud was finished and I bought it again using a different card. Originally priced at 900 TL, I bought Creative Cloud for 382 TL with a discount, it would be 400 a month later. This month my bill is 900 TL and I don't know why it doesn't appear in my account history, it says Adobe in my card history. It shouldn't be this easy to scam people. Why did something that was shown as 382 TL on sale show up as 900 TL in my account? Moreover, Adobe already wrote that it would be 382 TL next month, so why did they charge me 900 TL? I'm sorry but I don't want to be ripped off. Just think, 900 dollars is withdrawn from your account and you can't even find the reason...

hello everyone, I really need your help.my illustrator cant create a new file, before searching the adobe support community i updated my illlustrator to 2023 version thinking it would help; but it didnt so i searched the community and found a few answers such as going to perferences > general > use legacy file new it kind of worked to create a new file but I had a problem with saving the file. also the home screen of illustrator when starting the application is still blank. is there any answer to these issues ?  thank you.

I use dual monitors and require 2 separate windows for multiple pdf documents.  In each window, I require multiple documents in tabs.  I have up to 5 docs open per window.  I print to pdf from some of the documents (several pages of a larger file) to a new file to annotate/edit.  On the FIRST print to pdf from within the program, Acrobat Pro opens the new file in a new tab in the active (single) window but I'm unable to drag that tab to open a second window.  I have to exit the program, restart it, open two files (in tabs in one window) then am able to drag one of the tabs to start a new window.  After that, as long as I keep both windows open, I can print to pdf and drag a tab from one window to the other.  However, if I restart the program, unable to drag tab to open a new window.  Always have to print then restart to drag tab to open a new window.  Printing or opening new docs in a new window is not an option.  I can't have 10+ diffe

Why can't I edit a fillable PDF? I filled the pdf out previously and signed it. I opened the saved document to edit it again and the original text can be changed but the updated I made when filling it out cannot. I've checked for permissions issues, ensures the document is not locked, and done everything that they recommend to troubleshoot, but no luck. Making a copy didn't help, redownloading didn't help. Please help!

After I open illustrator and click on new file or any other file, it does not respond at all. I have tried to clear preferences, also reinstalled different versions. But the issue persists. However a few times when I had opened illustrator and then opened an .ai file from windows explorer, it opened.

I have created some simple graphics in Adobe XD:However, when I export as PDF and open in Adobe Acrobat, the label text in the upper lefthand corner is not showing:When I open the graphic in an online PDF viewer, everything shows up fine, so the problem is definitely with Acrobat. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro (continuous release | version 2025.001.20432) and restarted my computer (Macbook Pro 2020, running Sequoia 15.3.1), but the problem persists. The font used for the label is the same as the main/larger text and I have checked to be sure this font is installed properly. Also, you can see in the Adobe XD screenshot above that the layers are not hidden. Of note, I have previously exported other graphics from this same document (exact same layout, fonts, etc.) without issue.  What's going on here?????

Whenever I save my file in Adobe Illustrator, a dialog box with metadata information (such as file path, fonts, colors, and user details) automatically appears on my artboard as text. How can I stop this from happening?
