Hi, I have encountered a bug when trying to create a new video layer and I am looking for advice. When attempting to create a new blank video layer through the layer menu following these steps - Document Creation:File > New > HDTV 1080p (1920 x 1080 px @ 72 ppi)Once Document is Created:Layer > Video Layers > New Blank Video Layer - the actual Video Layers option no longer appears on the menu, I don't mean that it is disabled or greyed out, I mean that it actually isn't there (see image). I have installed and ran an older version of photoshop in an attempt to fix the issue but the exact same problem was present. I have checked this forum for similar posts but have not been able to find any posts matching this specific problem. To the best of my knowledge I haven't messed around with anything that could cause this kind of issue, but I'm not 100% sure. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? Or what could potentially have caused this? Key Details:Is

Windows 11 Pro RTM 21H2 (OS Build 22000.376) - clean install.Currently have Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Bridge and the Creative Cloud app installed on my PC, yet none of the shortcuts for those programs appear in the Windows Start Menu. These items should definitely be there. And since I have both PS & LR pinned to the taskbar I can access the programs and they appear to be working as I just used them Sunday. However, if I want to use an app not pinned to the taskbar, I have to "search" for the item as they don't appear in the Start Menu. Anyone else seeing this?

Yesterday I bought Adobe Photoshop 2025 for macOS Catalina 10; it was possible to install, but it says in the notification that this version isn't for macOS Catalina 10. What shall I do now?

Hi: I need to make an Anchor Link in Dreamweaver 2020. It used to be easy with the Insert Menu, but now it is Code -- with NO instructions! I was lucky to find "Properties" in Windows, but all Tutorials seem to be geared toward Dreamweaver 2013 -- even the Adobe Chat guy gave me Menu instructions that no longer work -- then said to use this Forum. Very frustrated and way too much time trying to figure out what ysed to be very easy on Dreamweaver -- and no longer exists. Any help?

I was checking into my current plan (All Apps 100 gb) trying to decide what to do about the new plans coming up, and my member account showed the following special offer of $39.99/month: To me it looks like I could keep my current plan for which I'm billed $59.99 monthly, for a new cost of $39.99 monthly.  This new plan is named exactly the same as my current plan.  Not Standard or Pro.  So I'm trying to figure out what the downside of accepting the offer.  I do use iOS apps (Photoshop and Illustrator) quite a bit and don't want to give that up, so the new Standard plan wouldn't work for me. Any advice?  Especially, how to get a definitive, official answer as to what the $39.99 plan would include until my annual renewal date which would be in May of next year. Thanks!

I am writing to report a persistent issue I’ve encountered when exporting files from Adobe Photoshop to PDF. Normally, when I export a Photoshop file that contains vector text and shape layers, the exported PDF preserves those elements as vector graphics, which scale without pixelation when zoomed in.However, in a recent project, despite ensuring that:- The text layers are editable and not rasterized- Shape layers are not flattened- No Smart Objects or Layer Styles were applied- The file resolution is 300 ppi- I used the “Save As > Photoshop PDF” method with “High Quality Print” preset…the resulting PDF renders all elements as rasterized images. When I zoom in on the text, it appears pixelated, as if flattened. This behavior is inconsistent with previous exports using similar settings. I have tested this on:- Photoshop Version: [Insert version, e.g., Photoshop 25.1]- OS: [Insert your system, e.g., Windows 11 / macOS Ventura]- File Type: PSD with editable text and shapesI would apprec

I have downloaded a editable text effect and am trying to change the text. When in layers, each part of this is is its own group of objects/vectors, however there doen't seem to be a text layer to retype a new word in which the effect will be applied to. I can't seem to find any direct answers though. See the image of the effect that I have downloaded.

I'm creating a book index, entering all the topics first before I begin to mark references. Some main topics have multiple sub-topic level-1 entries. I can create these "by hand" by typing the main topic, typing one sub-topic, and entering, repeating the process for as many times as I have sub-topics. Is there a way to enter multiple sub-topics under the main topic at one time, separated by some sort of marker that InDesign recognizes as a "new line" character in the sub-topic list? For example, one main topic is Abstention. It has five level-1 subtopics: Burford, Colorado River, Pullman, Thibodaux, and Younger. Below is a sample of what I'm trying to do: Main topic: AbstentionSub-topic: Burford [new line], Colorado River [new line], Pullman [new line],  Thibodaux [new line], Younger [new line] So that when I generate the index, it would line up like this:***********************************************************************Abstention  &nbs

Hi, LR 14.4 Release, Windows 11.In many folders the "Synchonize folder" dialog says there are missing photos, but the actual files do exist in that folder. LR does not show an exclamation point for these photos and lets me develop and export them, so it does not really interfere with my workflow. But not being able to know if a folder is synchronized is quite annoying. Is that a known issue or it might it be a consistency problem of my catalog? How does LR handle NEF+JPEG files? Could this behaviour be the result of synchonizing RAW+JPEG files? Thanks,J

I have tiff files created with Sketchbook app (formerly Autodesk Sketchbook), and I only see one layer when I open them with Photoshop on desktop.

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing an issue with InDesign's Publish Online feature with New links and Updating Existing links– When publishing a new document, the option to download as a PDF appears, but clicking it opens a new window with a "[Not Found]" text in the top left of the browser. When updating older published links, the same issue occurs. This is a new (to me) issue, and I haven't changed anything in my process (that I’m aware of). Troubleshooting Steps I've Tried:Uninstalling and reinstalling InDesignChecking for software updates (Mac OS) Ive attached a video ref (speed up the uploading time) to show exactly what I mean.  I also reached out to Adobe Support via chat twice, but the chat ended with no response.I have also read the following threads and tried to implement changes based on the 'solved result' but dont feel like I have a clear answer, or I might just not understand? Thread 1Thread 2Thread 3Thread 4 I rely on Publ

I have this black border around each page, and it prints out. I NEED IT TO GO AWAY. I've tried several options, including reducing stroke to 0. Suggestions VERY welcome.

Hello, I have just started using the latest version of captivate and I am already running into some obstacles (mostly self-imposed). I have modified a video content block to appear the way I want it to on desktop, but I am at a loss regarding how to edit the JSON file so that the content still appears legible and attractive when switching to Tablet or Mobile display. I guess I'm having a hard time reverse engineering the CSS in the file to get the ideal appearance on each display.    Can anyone suggest some resources that will help me figure this out? Thanks.

I would like to add an export range to the script for exporting pdfs. There are a lot of scripts on the internet for exporting pdf's, and it seems that they can only call templates, and do not set the export page.Is there similar information can be recommended to me?

Hi,   I never had this problem before. I've been working on a project in Photoshop and for some reason, it is now only working in grayscale. When I used the color picker to change color, it doesn't work.  I know remember doing anything different to cause it to work only in grayscale, but I can't seem to figure out how to switch it back to color mode and I'm in the middle of an important project. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?   Penny Jones   [email removed]

I want to extract Arabic text from a pdf. I have attempted many things with no success including exporting to word format, simple copy and paste, installing the apparent font (AXtGIHane), scanning/ocr, etc... Nothing has worked.  I downloaded the trial version of Acrobat DC, and have attempted several things with it as well (installing fonts, exporting, editing, trying to use OCR), without success.  I can see that it has many features/settings so I may be missing something. I notice that when I look for Arabic among the language list, it is not present.  I would be happy to provide a the file I'm using, or a portion of it. Although I'm working with the Macintosh version, I also have Windows 10 available, if that would help. Thanks for your help,-Tony

I just upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and I cannot get my Photoshop brushes from my old computer to my new computer. I went into Drive C, and navigated to presets, and copied the brushes from there, but they will not load. I tried Importing the brushes within Photoshop without any luck. Should I have done it a different way?

Hello,I have a contract signed electronically by a service provider (Coffréo), but when I want to open the contract with Acrobat bureau, the signatures are no longer there. However, they are present in Acrobat web, as well as in the Edge and Chrome pdf readers.I've tried other pdf readers, such as Foxit, which work very well.Does anyone know why the desktop version of Adobe Acrobat no longer recognizes my signatures? Thanks !
