Hello,I've been trying to get custom presets right. I've imported a new .sbsar preset, and it exported once. From that point on, whenever I "share" and click "Export As", the application immediately crashes. I've submitted bug reports on reload, but I'd like to remove the latest preset, in case that is what is causing the issue.This is on the latest version 3.2.0, Mac.
HiI export sbsar from substance sampler, they did not include parameter. Are there anyway to export parameter such as roughness, displacement,...? ThankTravis
hi,I am using Substance 3D Sampler in an M1 pro macbook (ARM, Silicon) running macos 12.3 beta Monterey.It generally works pretty well, but sometimes the program closes itself, for example by dragging a custom material into the images window ("Images to material") on the right, other times with a double click on a material. I really like the program, but I hope for greater stability.

Hello there. I’m trying to use the excellent cloth weave layer but I have to work blindly since the 2D view will not display my cursor at all (I see it in the UI, bus as soon as I’m on the weave view, it disappears) Workaround : paint somewhere blind, cancel, move and paint again. Not ideal If I was on a cintiq it would be no issue but that’s not the case. Mac OS 10.15.7, core i9 32gb, AMd Radeon pro 5600M 8gb.
Hi, I want to create a material from the photo of fabric but want to preserve real-life size information. The area shown in the photo is 20cm x 20cm. After I apply the image to material to it, crop it inside Sampler and add a tiling layer to make the material seamless, I am not sure what is the real tiling size of the exported material. I can approximate it, but I would like to be sure. What is the best workflow here?
I am new to 3D sampler. Previoulsy I used photoshop filter to produce normal maps and bump maps for textures I create and use in 3D Studio Max / Vray archtectural renderings. Now that capabilit is gone from pshop and I am trying to learn how to do it in 3D sampler. I have a photo of a wood beam. 2163px H x 142px W. I want to generate normal map form it. When I bring it into 3D sampler regardless of choosing which "Image Creation Template" I use, the output results are alway a square image. IOW the normal map that is auto generated is a square and I need it to be 2163px x 142px to match my diffuse wood beam photo/texture map. I looked thru tutorials and docs but I cannot seem to find how to achieve that. Any help is very much appreciated.

I'm attempting to create a decal in Sampler. I think I've set it up correctly but I can't seem to use it in Painter without getting an outline edge and background color. Is this a bug or should I be setting it up another way?

Is it possible to add Kaleidoscope generator in Sampler. For now we can use Ps or other apps for creating that pattern but separate generator would be very helpful. Thx
If I try to send to Substance 3d Painter it is grayed out and says please install Substance Painter. It is clearly installed. Can I specify a path somewhere?
Like in Painter? For example brightness/contrast affecting only single layer?
Hi. I have thousands of Substance materials that are available in Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop under "Stock & Marketplace" > "3D." I would like to have these materials automatically import into Substance 3D Sampler, but none of them do. I understand how to add these materials manually linking to a folder on my hard drive, but I would rather link directly into Creative Cloud so that every time I download a new material from substance3d.adobe.com/assets, it automatically shows up in Sampler. Is this possible? Thanks.
Except AI normal map I mean. Once AI is done it looks like much more convenient to mix materials in Painter . More options with filters and ancors . Painter works less clunky. Cool brushes to tweak height blend etc. Am I missing something? Wonder could I export AI layer as sbsar and use it in Painter? Will it work?
I'm going through a tutorial on Substance Alchemist. In it he is showing how to use an imput image to create a color pallet. Has that been removed? Or changed to work some other way? I looked through the various layer tools but didn't see anything that seemed like it would do the same thing.
Hello, I imported a PNG file in Substance Sampler, that was created as a vector file in Illustrator. The file was added as an image to bitmap, with a base material in the layer. When I add the embroidery layer, the image shows up, but as a grey shape. The threads or the color is not showing up. Does anyone know why this is happening? Attached is a screenshot of the grey shape, but it's supposed to be red/white/blue and with thread. I also attached the PNG file that I exported from Illustrator. Thank you

All of a sudden Sampler will not launch, from Creative Cloud or from the start menu. Painter & Designer will launch. Hello there ,sampler became very slow after sunden .Ive tried to remove / rename appdata folder to see if that will change anything but its still same . I got newest drivers from nvdia , my GPU is set main processing unit . Thanks .

<reposted in this section as suggested by support>Hi,I installed Stager, Designer, and Painter successfully on my Windows desktop, but Sampler fails.I get error 127, and I tried everything related to permission and folders access as suggested.I can install Sampler on a different computer, but not on this one.Only Sampler fails, consistently. Below is the log. I can see the installer creating the folders in \adobetemp and populating them with no problem. My Substance Sampler (purchased through Steam) is all of a sudden incredibly sluggish and slow. Almost impossible to use. I've attached the Log file, and hope someone can spot what is wrong!And also another issue i would love to get fixed!I can't delete materials or images imported into my library. I choose "Delete", and get the warning that it'll delete the original file on the disk, but nothing happens. Hope to get help soon, as we're using it for production.Thanks! 😉
When I change the main resolution of my material in Sampler, the normal to height filter produces a very different height map. At 512p, the height map is very dark. At 4k, it's much brighter (very much). I use this height map in a water level effect, so the final result of the material is completely different when I switch to another resolution.
