Substance 3D Sampler

Hi Teams,I am new to use sampler, Can some one help on below questions.Mainly I am working for apparel industry. Q1. Any recommendation for fabric scanner or I can use iPhone captured image to use in sampler? Q2. How to extract the maps layer from SBSAR file in sampler? if I downloaded file from substance library.Q3.  Can I edit texture from SBSAR file in sampler?Q4. Is possible to rescale the SBSAR maps in sampler?Many Thanks in Advance!

I work in a big studio and wish to set up our in-house material library as a connected folder. I want to do this through script, that way our art team won't have to mannually set things up themselves, and it'll be easy for future updates. However, my colleague and I are not able to locate how the connect folders are saved. We tried to use process monitor to find a config file or registery item but nothing shows up. We'd like to know how the "config" is saved when this happens:"INFO][Debug: MaterialCollectionControl.cpp:734 Alg::MaterialUtils::MaterialCollectionControl::getOrCreateLinkedCollection()] Adding file:///Z:/int10/Playgrounds/Personal/kdiegert/test_empty_library to AssetReference; id = "collection://linkedfolders"; info = [CollectionAsset; files count = 0; No valid files found]"Is it possible to set up a connected folder by modifying some file or through python? 

I create a boot model as you will see on the attached screenshot, but when I went to do another model using the same photos, both seems to come out as one, but different outputs (hopefully that makes sense). You'll see what I mean in the attached screenshot.

how do i merge top and bottom 3d photogrammetry models of an object in Substance 3d Sampler?

Hi everyone, just wondering if someone can help on some problems I have been having trying to use Sampler. I have posted quite a few on here but below are some of the problems. 1. During the post processing screen the program randomly closes. I have had task manager running in the background and sometimes my RAM usage was at nearly 100% and then the program closes, which I thought was the program, but the past few times it has closed my RAM was only about 47 - 50%. 2. Recently when changing my asset resolution from 2048 x 2048 to 4096 x 4096 actually reduces my texture resolution (attached is a couple of screen shots).I have also attached a photo of the position when taking the picture and the resolution seems ok on the actual photo. Is there a limit to how high the megapixel count can be on photos, as some photos were about 9MP on other files but these photos are 12MP (which is my phones maximum resolution). Could the photos be too large (file size) due to the higher re

Can anyone tell me why I have so many parts to my image on the right hand view. Would this cause my program to close without doing anything. For the past week or so I have been experiencing the program just closing on its own when I go to post processing screen. I have attached a screenshot.

Hello,I saw a guy making a pattern with the stitch effect and when he moved it to photoshop it had the 3D effect.When i try to download it, it only comes in 2D and looks terrible does anybody know how that works ? there are some examples how the stitch should look like. 

I just bought Sampler 2023 on Steam and it won't launch at all, I click it to run, it says "running" and then stops. Sampler 2022 used to work just fine. I've tried everything to run it and nothing happens. What should I do?

When trying to open 3D sampler in 4.2.2 it doesn't launch. I have never got it to launch. When trying to use 3D sampler in 4.2.1, the 3D capture feature keeps crashing.

After updating to the latest version 4.2.2 nothing happens when I try and launch Sampler.  Running Windows 10 and the latest Nvidia Studio driver V546.01.  So far have tried the following to troubleshoot...- Restarted PC- See if Sampler is running in the task manager.... it is not.- Deleted the folder AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Substance 3D Sampler- Uninstalled using CC Desktop app- Reinstalled- Tried launching from CC Desktop app as well as directly from the .exeAll I get is nothing for a few seconds, followed by the cursor briefly changing to the wait cursor (blue circle). No loading screen... nothing.Please help. 

Hi, just wondering if you can help. Everytime I try to export a Substance 3D Sampler file in the export window under general settings, the mesh settings section is selectable but the material settings isn't ticked and I cant select anything (this seems to happen everytime, and I have watched videos on YouTube and it works with everyone else). I have included two screenshots Also when i use the image to material (AI powered) option it either makes the textures completely different or put weird dark shapes, makes it darker and seems to lower the resolution on the face of the object. I'm sure there must be settings, but as you will see on the sample to the right there seems to be artifacts and I can't remove them. Thank you for your help in advanced

Is there a way of erasing some parts of a 3D model once its been generated. No material options (material settings option not ticked/available) when trying to export to Painter. Is it because I dont have another program installed. Is there a way of showing my 3D models on another computer or my mobile phone to show people what I have made.

Hi everyone,   As many of you have already noticed, there is currently an issue for certain users with our latest 4.2.2 update, preventing the launch of Substance 3D Sampler.   We are currently working on solutions, and the next release should fix the problem.   In the meantime, you can rollback to the previous update at anytime with the Creative Cloud Desktop app.   For Steam users, you'll have to check in Properties > Betas > Betas Participation   Best regards,

Hi, i just got Substance Sampler on steam but i can't get it to launch, i have tried:Veryfing files.Reinstalling the app.Tried to delete the files on C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\AllegorithmicHowever no folder for Substance Sampler was created.I see other people have similar issues to mine and it seems it's about the current version, is there a chance i can rollback the steam version or do i have to wait for an update? My specs:Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (12 CPUs), ~2.6GHzGPU: RTX 2060RAM: 16GB DDR4SSD 1TBLaptop model: ACER Nitro AN517-52

When creating new 3d object, when i import the files and process the files most of them have the message "This photo could not be aligned properly.  Please check that it is not blurry and uses the same sensor and focal sizes as the others.  The photos are not blurry and i took all of the photos in manual mode, did not change any settings and used manual focus after initial auto focus.  Not sure what the issue is.

Is there remote control or some sort of external/command line automation support for Substance Sampler like there is for Painter? I couldn't find anything in the docs and Sampler doesn't seem to be able to be opened with the --enable-remote-scripting arg but just thought I'd ask in case I'm missing something.

Hi, I'm a sports apparel designer and I have to export a stitched substance file for get more realistic clo3d render. And I bought the program yesterday. I'm using a Huawei D15 laptop, It has AMD RYZEN7 processor and 2 gb video ram, also 8gb ram. It's not so much amazing computer, but It's ok for my illustrations and jersey designs. I ran substance sampler 5-6 times and everytime I get a "not running" warning. Today I solve something about program, I created the stitch, It was ok for me, when I click export with standart settings, after 2 minutes, It's the result :(( I wanna use this program just for it, It looks like not very spesific thing, but I'm in so much trouble 😞How can I get more stabilised performance from Substance Sampler? It feels like a power cut just after you have finished a game. Or may I get a new, better computer and throw it in the trash? Now a workaround solution is ok for me, maybe I have to change some preferences?Waiting for your help

I have 4.2.2 running on a 13th Gen i7, Radeon 7900XTX with 32GB memory.  I upload 20 JPG images that were cleaned and saved under the latest version of Photoshop.  After submitting them the app runs for about 10 seconds and then says there was an error.  "An unexpected error has occurred.  Please contact technical support via Help..."  I've done that twice.  Anybody else having this issue?  

Hello!           It's impossible to drag and drop an asset from the asset panel. Is anyone else already had this issue?Thanks!
