I need help brainstorming this issue and hopefully providing a solution for this. I’m filming and making video board graphics during a soccer club’s media day. I’ll be using a Green Screen background but unfortunately the soccer clubs kit’s that the players will be wearing have a prominent amount of a mix of green color in the jerseys.Is there any way to key out just the background and not the elements of the jersey beside painstakingly masking each clip? Let me know if anyone has experience with this or an alternative method that would work!

We are aware that customers who saved projects in Premiere v25.6.0 may find that those files now open only in v26 (beta) and cannot be opened in v25 versions. We know this is disruptive, and we’re working on a fix.    What you need to know:  Projects saved in v25.6.0 save in the v26 version format.  Because of this, they can’t be opened in earlier versions, including v25.6.1 (even though it is the current generally available release)  We’re developing a tool that will let you convert affected projects back to a v25-compatible file.     Our Solution  We’re building a small app that will convert a v25.6.0-saved project back to the v25 format. We’ll share more information, including availability and instructions, as soon as the tool is ready in the coming days.     We know that there is nothing more important than the reliability of a project file, so we’re working with urgency to get this downgrade tool in your hands

August 2025 Issue with Project Manager [PP Version 25.3 – latest version][OS Sequoia 15.5 – latest version] I have a large project to offload to a colourist and have tried to use the 'Collect files and copy to a new location' function in Project Manager (File > Project Manager…) After several attempts I am still receiving the "An unknown error (-1609629681) occurred during the Project Manager operation. Please save your project and retry the operation." I have been looking for a solution for days now. Here's what I've tried based on Adobe support and what I've seen on this forum: 1. We just installed latest version of Premiere 2025 (25.2.3)  and it's not possible to render "only software" using CPU. And it's a problem cause our workstation and workflow is based mainly on working usinh our threadripper instead our GPU. Anyone had this problem? Every time I try to open a project with a version of Premiere newer than 25.5, it crashes immediately upon loading. It doesn’t matter if it’s v26 or 25.6.x. I’ve tried restarting the computer, resetting the preferences and clearing the cache, restarting again, none of it worked.However, it does appear I can open a new project in v26 without it crashing, and I can open a v26 project that a co-worker creeated and I took over (they were able to successfully update a while back and are not getting my errors).I’m on an Apple M3 Max chip, macOS 26.2, 96 GB RAM.Please help.

I just updated to 2026 Premiere and every single time I open my project it crashes before it can open. Switching back to 2025

Default media scaling does not work when update to 25.6.1This had already happened in a previous update and then they corrected it.Now it fails again imac M1 16GB ram macOs Sequoia 15.7.1

In premiere, the audio file that I have is only playing from the left side. I have followed all of the YouTube videos on how to fix this, from modifying the audio channel to adding the "fill right audio with left" effect. After adding the effect, the audio file in the timeline still only plays from the left, but in the source it shows that both the left and right audio channels are filled. And when I play the audio file in the source window, it is playing from both the left and the right. So basically, in the timeline, I only get left audio, but the source shows both left and right. Any ideas on how to fix this or what I need to do to make both sides play in the timeline? Thanks!!

I need to re-locate all of the files in my Premiere Pro project. Unfortunately, Premiere Pro uses its own window instead of the native OS window.Even more unfortunate is the fact that if anything is located in cloud storage in the 'Library' folder within the user foler, you can't access it. Double clicking on 'Library' doesn't work. Furthermore, in the sidebar it doesn't even show up. I feel like if the software really has to use its own dialogue box, it shouldn't have inferior functionality to the native OS one...

keyframes are ignoring my position within ellipse mask under lumetri premiere 2026. I’ve done a screen recording that I can send to adobe privately. I cant post the footage here. I just want to make the screen black and white and draw a circle around the subject who needs to be in color and I’m trying to keyframe it and its ignoring my keyframes.

So I have updated the Premiere Pro from 25.6.4 to 26.0 and it updated smoothly, then I continued the editing. When I was still in Premiere Pro and decided to move files from one bin/folder to another folder, the software was suddenly not responding then crashing. Well it’s complicated because this happens everytime I reproduce the steps until now. It won’t happen if I do cut/copy then paste, but files can’t use cut feature. Please help me with this case ASAP because this didn’t happen in previous version. Only 26.0 version that causes this issue.

In the 2021 Premiere Pro version, I used to be able to clear a marker while the video is playing. But I can’t do that in Premiere 2026.Can this be fixed please?

I’m having an issue where if I copy a chunk of a caption and then overwrite the text, the new caption copy loses all of the formatting, so I have to reapply the font settings (size and font style) which is very tedious. Please fix it. It worked a week ago.

I was given the above work laptop in Nov 2025. To be honest I haven’t used APP since then - until this week. I have literally just opened the software and created a new blank file. Absolutely nothing else. I’ve then gone to make a cup of coffee. When I’ve come back I’ve seen the attached error message on my screen. If I click ‘send report’ or ‘don’t send report’, APP shuts down. This has now happened 6 times. I cannot get to the stage to actually do anything creative.Any ideas?

Hi,I’m experiencing a blocking issue in Premiere Pro 2026: the mask outline is completely invisible in the Program Monitor. The mask itself works, but the outline/path is not visible at all.I’ve already tried the following: Turned Rulers OFF (Ctrl + R) Made sure Overlays are enabled Changed Program Monitor zoom and panel size Switched to Object/Shape Mask tool from the toolbar System: Premiere Pro: 2026 OS: Windows 11 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER Drivers: latest NVIDIA Game drivers This bug is incredibly frustrating and breaks basic masking workflows. Is there any way to disable or uninstall just this new masking feature in Premiere Pro 2026 and revert to the previous mask behavior? Right now this new system is unusable for me.I also tested this on two other computers with similar specs and older NVIDIA (studio) drivers, and the mask outline is still not visible on any of them. The issue is reproducible across different machines. 

I'm mastering a feature film and just ran into an annoying subtitle issue. We were pretty meticulous to match subtitle cuts with video cuts, since being 1-frame off looks like a jump cut. We have over 2000 subtitles, so I exported the English subs as an SRT and sent that off to multiple translators to get all the different language SRT's.As a test, I just reimported my original English SRT back into my sequence and it's 1-frame off. To be clear, the disabled subs on c1 were original and c2 were just round-tripped back in. I open both SRT's in textedit and the timecodes are identical.In the bin, Premiere lists the SRT framerate as 30:00 and the project is 23.98, but I'm under the impression that this doesn't matter since SRT's are based on frame timecode, not framerate. Plus I don't see an option to adjust this.I see no reason why Premiere would mistranslate it's own SRT... Any ideas on why this would happen or a possible fix? I've used timecode shifter apps, but want to understand why
