Hi guys, question: Why does Adobe Bridge from version 2025 not show thumbnails/previews for the MP4 (maybe other rich media files with video content)? It was so a handy/useful function, and it really works well. I didn´t change anything in the production chain, taking video the same way as I did before, and it stops working and displays just an annoying icon of the player instead. I tried to clean up the cache (Purge cache for selection) as well as to reinstall HEVC codecs in Windows, but nothing helped. Is there any reason why this stops working? Since April 2021, have not been able to use Photodownloader in Bridge with my new CFExpress card.  It does not detect it.  It does detect and function with SD card from same camera and card reader.  The CFExpress card is on the desk top.  Adobe has not been able to resolve despite numerous calls and attempts.  Anyone else having this isssue.  Using a work around by directly copying from card to file but it does not convert to DNG as I prefer.   

Dear Adobe commmunity,I use Bridge to go through my pictures before importing a select few into Lightroom when I've gone through the SD card. I have done this same exact process for years without any trouble.Today, I had multiple SD cards to go through, and the first one went as smooth as always. After ejecting the first card and inserting another (same type of card from the same brand), I opened Bridge back up, and everything seemed fine. I had a sip of my drink and prepared to go through the ~2300 images I had in front of me. It's a lot, but I have gone through double that amount without any trouble. I came to picture number 10, and wanted to label it as "Select" (the red group) as I always do this for the images I want to bring with me through the process.I used to be able to just click the number 6, and it would work fine. I haven't used Bridge for years. I used to use it (for photos) the way I now use Lightroom for previwing and organisting images. I remember it would also work farily quickly for videos. Now it seems to not work at all. I have been importing 100s of videos (MP4 and MOV), and there are no thumbnails or previews. These are files I can see thumbnails in Windows explorer, and play thme when I double click on them.  Is this expected behavour?

Once I starting using a CFexpress Type-B card after a Nikon D850 Firmware update, I've noticed that when I upload new files via Bridge, not all of the files are being read.As an example, I shot 32 images this morning, but when I began uploading via Bridge, it read only 22.I have my Bridge programed to open up the Photo Downloader when I begin the process.But, when I open Photo Downloader first, then Bridge, all of the files I shot are correctly read. Has anyone else have/had this problem? Is there anything that can be done to sort this out?

Hello, I have observed this problem for years now in every Bridge release and it is getting worse. When Bridge generates thumbnail previews for EXR files generated by 3ds Max, the images appear darkened as if they are using the lowest quality preview settings. I have tried using the default preview settings and every combination available, but they all now produce the same bad looking thumbnails. In the previous releases before 2025 version, the workaround was to simply toggle the preview settings between default and something else and then back. That caused Bridge to correctly produce thumbnail previews afterwards for that Bridge session. Upon restarting Bridge, you would have to perform that ritual again. But now in the 2025 version, no changing of the settings corrects this. The only way to see a proper preview is to right click each thumbnail individually and select the purge cache for selection menu option. That will fix the preview for that one thumbnail only. All export processes in Bridge work fine. Small PSDs to jpg , in the same or another folder, with or without resizing.But I have some big (1.5 Go) PSD files. When I try to export it to jpg, the job is done (the jpg is well created) but the process never end ==> I have to cancel the process (wth confirmation).At this time, if i want to close Bridge, that says a process is currently on going… Only solution is to CRASH bridge manually.Thanks for your helpEric from France

I’m working on a folder in bridge.  I create a folder elsewhere - or worse *bridge creates the folder*, but it will not update the folder view to show the folder. Its been like this since I got a. macbook ~2 years ago. I don't understand how this is possible.  Unless there is something glaringly obvious I’m not doing?   I make an export to the same folder creating “jpeg” subfolder. Nothing I do will make the jpeg folder appear.  In order to do that I have to navigate to it in finder, and open a file from there.  This is in bridge 16, but it's been the same for 2 years.  I’m on sonoma 14.4

I just got a new iMac M4, & expected Bridge to look the same as on my MacBook, but the interface is totally different. The main issue (of several) is that I cannot get any of the folders in the Favourites’ pane on the left-hand side to open. Normally I double click or right-click & select ‘open’, but neither of these work; the folders are unresponsive. I thought it may be an issue with the mouse, but the double & right clicks work everywhere else.I’d be grateful for any suggestions!

Bridge will usually generate previews with the wrong size when "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" has been enabled (checked). I would guess that this bug has been present for a while. The setting can be found here: Preferences -> Advanced -> Generate Monitor-Size Previews On my system (see below), I have a monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. When "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" is not checked, Bridge generates preview files with a pixel width of 2048 pixels in this cache folder (2048 seems to be the default size):    C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge\Cache\v36\1024\... Then, when checking "Generate Monitor-Size Previews", I see preview files with a width of 2560 pixels for new files, which may be the expected width (but see note below *). However, with "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" still checked, I exit Bridge, then starts Bridge again, then I double check that "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" is still set in Preferences

I just tried to install Bridge on my new Surface Pro 11, which uses a Snapdragon ARM processor. While Photoshop works, Bridge would not install as the error message said a version of Bridge is not available for this processor. Does anyone know if Adobe plans to deliver a version of Bridge that works with the Snapdragon processor?  Thanks

After processing RAW data with Camera Raw from Bridge and exporting it to JPEG, I cannot restart Bridge after closing it. When I check the Task Manager, I see that it remains as a background task. If I end this task, I can start Bridge again. This issue doesn't always occur, but it seems to happen more often after handling a large amount of data or working for a long time. The versions of Bridge I am using are 2021, 2024, and 2025, and my OS is Windows 11. Does anyone know the cause and solution for this problem?

How do I enable single key labelling in Bridge? I do not see the “Use Ctrl/Cmd for Ratings and Labels" check box at the bottom of the Content panel. I do not have that option.

For a very long time (probably over a year), Br has been freezing when switching Workspaces, changing their view from Light Table to Folders, etc. Then only killing it in Task Manager helps. Sometimes it simply shuts down for no reason. Furthermore, indexing thumbnails takes a very long time, and sometimes they don't display at all for larger files. Purging all local cache files helps for a while, but the problem returns quite quickly. Br can also freeze the entire computer upon startup, and only a manual restart is the solution. Task Manager shows two Br processes, one of which persists even after closing it—it also needs to be killed manually. I don't have a GPU in the processor - Xeon W-2255, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 and 128 GB of RAM, so it's probably not a hardware incompatibility issue. It's strange that the same problem has persisted for so long and nothing has been fixed.
