When logging a new bug report, it's helpful to the Photoshop team when the information in the report includes steps describing how they can reproduce the bug experience. Once we can reproduce an issue, then we can start to investigate a fix. Note: If after a bit of troubleshooting we find that the bug report is in-fact not a product bug, the bug report may be moved out of Bugs and over to Discussions. Use the template below as a guide for posting the most meaningful bug reports for the team. Bug report template: Issue: Photoshop version: OS: Steps to reproduce: ... ... ... Expected result: Actual result: Anatomy of a great bug report: Issue: Provide a succinct one-line issue statement (i.e. Photoshop beta does X when using a tool or plugin) Provide Photoshop version: Help>System Info>Copy the top line with Photoshop version Provide OS and version: macOS 11.4 Issue: Provide good steps
Hi Everyone, The Circle, Arch, and Bow styles of dynamic text are now available in Photoshop beta! Here’s how to use dynamic text circle, arch, and bowCreate a Point type or Paragraph type layer, and convert to dynamic circle, arch or bow using the dynamic text button menu found in the Options bar, Contextual Task Bar, or using the dynamic text section in the Properties panel. New dynamic text options For circle, arch, and bow, there are 4 options for Position (Above, Center, Below) or changing the direction of the text. Edit the start, middle, and end pointsOnce a circle, arch, or bow layer has been created, you can adjust the start, middle, and end points with the Path Selection tool. Customize your text to tasteWith dynamic text circle, arch, and bow, most other text attributes are still editable aside from Font Size. ProtipIf you know how to edit the anchor points on a path, once a dynamic text layer has been made circle, arch, or bow, you can manipulate the path with the Direct
.tif file appears washed out only in Photoshop Beta with GPU enabled. The same file displays correctly in regular Photoshop. Turning off Use Graphics Processor fixes the appearance.
When using GPU with HDR enabled monitor, all image content is dark. This is new with the Aug 2 version of V27.10 (today). Nothing changed but installing the update.Windows 11 - 25H2 26200.8875Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.10.0 20260802.m.3625 8f8ccb9 x64 (beta, PublicBeta)GPUName: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 TiMonitor: XG27UCG (ASUS ROG XG27UCG)(See included .txt for more)This is how a page normally looks (and still looks in PS 27.8) This is how it looks in today’s 27.10 - I had to cheat to get this, because the image looks fine in an SDR screenshot, but this level layer reproduces what I see:This is a greyscale image, but I get the same issue in RGB photos.Note that the UI rendering is fine, and if I copy the image to another app, or move PS to another monitor, it looks fine. I can fix this by either Edit → Preferences → Performance → Use Graphics Processor - Off or by Windows Settings → System → Display → HDR → HDR - OffFor now I am working around this by disabling HDR because obviousl
Finally fix the bug where, when working with smart layers and going back to the main layer that contains the others, it doesn’t remember the changes made!
I can only get Generate Image to work with the latest Firefly Fill model. Not with any of the partner models (Win 11 desktop and laptop - the former running only the most current Ps production rel. 27.6 and the latter running only the latest Ps beta - not both on the same machine). Also, after trying to use reference image with a partner model it’s impossible to delete or remove the downloaded reference image. The trash can icon in the ref image dialog box doesn’t delete or eliminate the downloaded ref image. I’ve tried with multiple different base and reference images. And, I’ve tried by writing a prompt 1st (then the Generate button grays out) or making the selection and trying to establish object only and place in the selected area then choose the partner model. Neither approach works. It only works with the latest Firefly model - no partner models and I prefer working with Gemini and having the flexibility to use prompts.
I saw there was a new parametric filter called embroidery. I wanted to try it, but every time I do, it shuts down photoshop and I get that little box that says "An error has occurred and photoshop needs to shut down." I have tried several times and same result. I am running Windows 11.
The "Export As" window is glitching, which sometimes makes it go behind Photoshop. Additionally, its size does not stay adjusted as usual and it is always smaller. I have to resize it every time I open the program and use the "Export As" function.Another problem is that the file preview is pixelated, which does not happen in the regular version. This started in this last beta update; it didn't have this problem before. Furthermore, the image only looks good if I set the zoom to 100%. However, I cannot see the full image with good quality like before because it goes past the borders. I have to keep moving it to see the corners that do not show up.

Photoshop Beta 27.9.0 (macOS) – PSD becomes unreadable after "Stamp Visible" (⌥⌘⇧E) and SaveEnvironment* Photoshop Beta Version: 27.9.0* Operating System: macOS* File size: approximately 291 MBDescriptionI created and edited a PSD normally in Photoshop Beta. There were no crashes and no Beta update between editing and saving. The final action before saving was creating a merged visible layer using the shortcut ⌥⌘⇧E ("Stamp Visible" / "Merge Visible to New Layer").Immediately afterwards I saved the document using File → Save.Since then the PSD can no longer be opened.Photoshop displays the message:"The document could not be opened because it is not compatible with this version of Photoshop."I am using the same Photoshop Beta version that created the file. I do not have another Photoshop version installed.Another PSD created on the same day opens without any problems.Additional observations:* The PSD file is approximately 291 MB.* The file was saved directly to the local disk (not cloud s
Browsing, importing and licensing Adobe stock in Photoshop is getting an overhaul. No more searching for stock content in Photoshop, only to have to tab-hop out to the Stock website to complete the process. This brings Photoshop up-to-grade with the experience you would get in Premiere today. What's actually new hereUpgraded browsing experience now returns free and paid content (not just free), expanding the choices you see when browsing. Drag-and-drop straight from the panel onto the canvas Preview-to-license— license a full-res asset directly from something you previously previewed, no digging required (from the properties panel or the layer panel context menu) Credit balance visible in-panel for subscribersWhere to test it (known WIP)Try every entry point you can find — File menu, Window menu, context bar, Add Image button, frame tool, Photoshop Home. Some may still route to the old experience or not be live yet — that's expected right now, just flag which ones aren't updated. What if
Photoshop Beta 27.9 on Apple MBP M1 Max running OSX Tahoe 26.5.2When I look at an image in Lightroom it looks as it should, however when I open it in Photoshop it appears very bright, as if a curves or gamma has been applied to it. If I open the “covert to profile” menu the preview looks normal. If I turn proof colors on it appears as it should. However with proofing off it returns to it’s very bright state. Same as with anything that shows a preview, preview looks normal. I tried Sony ARW raw files and tif’s, no difference. It was ok on Friday, problem started with open today, July 13th.See attached screenshots Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
After updating Photoshop Beta to version 27.10.0, all RGB PSD documents appear significantly brighter/overexposed.The same PSD files display correctly in the current release version of Photoshop on the same Mac.SystemMacBook Pro 16-inch (2021) Apple M1 Pro 16 GB RAM macOS Tahoe 26.5.2External monitor:ASUS PA279 (4K via HDMI)The issue occurs on both:Built-in Liquid Retina XDR display External ASUS PA279Tests performedSame PSD files display correctly in the release version of Photoshop. Problem exists only in Photoshop Beta. Proof Colors changes the rendering and makes the image appear much closer to the correct colors. Disabling GPU Compositing does NOT solve the issue. Disabling OpenCL does NOT solve the issue. Disabling "Use Graphics Processor" completely fixes the problem.Expected behaviorRGB documents should display identically to the release version of Photoshop with GPU acceleration enabled.Actual behaviorWith GPU enabled, RGB documents appear washed out / overexposed.
Photoshop version: 27.9.0 BetaComputer: MacBook Pro M1 ProOperating System: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1aIssue:Smooth gradients and dark vignette backgrounds display with blotchy, cloud-like artifacts when Use Graphics Processoris enabled.Steps to reproduce:Open an image with a smooth dark gradient or vignette. Enable Preferences → Performance → Use Graphics Processor. Observe blotchy artifacts in the gradient. Disable Use Graphics Processor. Reopen the image.Result:The artifacts disappear immediately when GPU acceleration is disabled.Additional information:The same JPEG and TIFF display correctly in Lightroom Classic. GPU Compatibility Check reports the Apple M1 Pro as fully compatible. Changing OpenCL and GPU Compositing individually does not resolve the issue.
Product: Photoshop Beta 27.9.0, 27.10.0 (and previous version .8?)OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2 26200.8655If the image is in Greyscale Mode, choosing the Selection Brush shows a circular selection brush as expected, but holding down the mouse button doesn’t select anything - no magenta overlay is shown, nothing is selected. Switching to the Marquee Tool confirms that nothing was actually selected. Converting the image to RGB immediately makes selection brush work properly. Converting it back to Greyscale makes it stop working immediately, nothing else needs to be done. Selection brush hardness and opacity are at 100%, size doesn’t matter. This has been working fine for years but broke about a week and a half ago.It still works correctly in Photoshop Mainline 27.8.0.
when i open an image from beta it does not look like it does on my hard file imge. same when imported from apple photos and click “edit in”
Photoshop (Beta) — Remove Tool Performance RegressionI'm reporting a specific, reproducible regression in the Remove tool in the current Beta build (27.10.0) that I've diagnosed as thoroughly as I can from the user side.SummaryThe Remove tool, which previously worked quickly and well in this Beta build, has stopped functioning correctly. It now takes several minutes to remove even a tiny selected area, regardless of settings. The same operation completes instantly in the standard (non-Beta) release of Photoshop on the same machine, same file, same hardware.TimelineThe tool was working correctly. At some point it stopped — without any update on my part (no Photoshop version change, no graphics driver update, no known Windows update). I cannot pin down exactly when it broke, only that no deliberate change preceded the failure.SystemNVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, correctly detected in Photoshop's Graphics Processor Settings, "Use Graphics Processor" enabled, GPU used normally elsewhere in th
Hello, it's been 24 hours now that I can't work with adobe photoshop beta with artificial intelligence (AI) I keep getting this message: We're experiencing high demand, please try again later... I try every hour but nothing works. I downloaded the app yesterday for info and I can't enjoy the tool. Sorry for my writing, I'm french THANKS
After newest update to Photoshop Beta 27.9 I tried opening an image from Camera Raw and it opens completely flat and desaturated. Not how it looks in Bridge or Camera Raw at all making it impossible to work with. Please look into this. Attached are screenshots of what I’m talking about.
* AI Assistant panel shows document as empty when all layers are inside artboards — no layer outside artboards triggers no state sync.* AI Assistant state_info reports artboard bounds as dynamic content bounds rather than the fixed artboard frame dimensions. This makes it impossible to reliably calculate layer centering within artboards, as the reported bounds shift when child layers are moved. Artboards should report their fixed frame rect (equivalent to `artboard.artboardRect` in JSX), not the bounding box of their contents.* The 'Copy' button in the AI Assistant chat panel does not copy the full response. Content above a certain threshold is silently truncated, with copying starting mid-response rather than from the beginning. Users cannot reliably extract long responses such as code blocks or multi-section answers.* AI Assistant cannot execute Photoshop's native align commands (`ADSCentersH`/`ADSCentersV`, align to artboard/canvas). The only available repositioning tool is `move_la
In Photoshop BETA the on device remove tool is not using GPU, and although it starts using vRAM it than start using RAM and CPU for a long time.It does "work”, no errors, but can take minutes.Using Photoshop on same PC same picture it works great, faster as cloud.is this something in the configuration, or reload / reinit required to repair ?
In 27.10.0, when opening a file (rgb, 32 bit), if I Select all and then go to Edit/Generative fill, it is grayed out. It works fine in regular Photoshop. I've tried several images (black and white and color), and they all have the same problem. Generative fill is grayed out.
