I opened up Premiere Pro 2023 yesterday to put an edit together. I imported audio and put it in the timeline just fine I went to import a video clip and got the spinning wheel of death. I then forced quit the software, tried again, and got the same result. I cleared my cache, tried again, and got the same results. Next I installed the software and redownloaded an older version and the same thing happened. I looked to see if my Mac needed to be updated and it did so I updated my Mac and tried again and got the same spinning wheel of death. I don't know what else to do at this point. I use Premiere Pro every day and don't know why it is not cooperating anymore... I have a 14-inch 2021 MacBook Pro, with an Apple M1 Max chip, and 64GB of memory.
Please help!
