Acrobat Reader

There is a bunch of discussion on fillable forms not showing data and not really any good solutions or reason why.Mine issue is with the W-9.I have Adobe Acrobat Pro(version: 11.0.23) installed.  I have Security (Enhanced) under Preferances enable.When I open the W-9, I get the Proected View warning as expected and the fill-in boxes show data.When I click "Enable All Features" the fill-in boxes go blank. When I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (version: 2022.001.20117) with  Security (Enhanced) enabled.When I open the W-9, I get the Proected View warning as expected and the fill-in boxes show data.When I click "Enable All Features" I get the message "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader.  The document has been changed since it was created and use of the extended features is no longer available".  But this time the fill-in show data. And like other posts When i open in a browser the fill-in boxes show data. I beleive the original

Ao deixar um documento PDF aberto por algum tempo sem lhe mexer, a barra do cursor do lado esquerdo fica negra e não é mais possível fazer deslizar o cursor para cima ou para baixo. Só se resolve, fechando o documento e abrino de novo. Ocorre com todos os documentos.

I'm seeking to scan an out of print book for presentation via the web.  I don't anticipate a problem with copyright - we know the copyright holder. Scanning to pdf at 600 dpi using Canon's scan to pdf software produces 3Mb a page and there are 100 pages.  Can I scan and convert to text (which might require some editing and formatting) or do I have to produce "copies" of the pages by scanning to pdf - and if so how do I reduce file size whilst preserving clarity for readers? Any helpful suggestions welcomed. Acrobat Reader DC closes on its own overnight (I leave 2 screens open when I'm working).Program problem or my computer problem?Any way to stop this from happening?

While opening pdf files either from locally saved or from SharePoint, it takes lot of time to open (up to 5 minutes) or it doesn’t open at all and goes crashed as mentioned below.As a troubleshooting we have tried with adobe reader DC upgrade from v21.011.20039 to 22.001.20085(latest version), tried with uninstalling the recently installed windows patches. Even then the issue is still existing.

I have tried most if not all the suggestions including turning OFF all 'Make Hand Tool' options and setting Touch Mode to NEVER. It is extremely annoying to have the hand tool as the default. Can anyone help?Version is 2015.23.20070

Using Lenovo ThinkPad and Adobe Acrobat DC to create my files/proposals. I have made templates so I will either combine files, or I will edit a previous proposal if it requires nearly identical documents with minor changes and save as a new file. HOWEVER, the images below (the second image is actually a page full of text if you can believe!) keep happening to my files - especially when I Reduce File Size in order to be compliant. I only use Arial or Times New Roman (as that's required). If I select the text box and change the style to Bold or Italic and back again, it typically brings the characters back. But I don't want to do that to every text on every page... **I'm not the most tech saavy and (I think) I've tried the embedding fonts, but maybe I'm not doing it correctly. Can someone please help save me/my sanity??

Hello,I currently have a 4 page pdf form that I'd like to setup so it prints multiple copies of certain pages, without having to select each page individually.  When I print the file, I'd like it to print 1 copy of page 1, 2 copies of page 2, 4 copies of page 3, and 2 cpoies of page 4 automatically. Does anyone know of a script that could make this happen?  Thanks!

Hello all, I currently have the problem that stamps and comments disappear in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.This doesn't happen with every PDF file, but it has become more frequent. By default, PDF files are created with PDF24. However, the error also occurs with PDF files created with other programmes. It also makes no difference whether the PDF file is new or older.The error is noticeable as follows:PDF file is edited and saved. When it is opened again, all or some of the stamps and comments are missing. Hardware: Win 10 Version 21H1Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version: 2022.001.20117 Many thanks for your support 

When I copy some text from a PDF document it works for the first and second text that I copying. The third text that copy is not getting copied and it is also not appearing in the clipboard. What can I do? I tried clearing the clipboard of old texts but still the new text is not geting copied.What can I do?

Hello. Is it possible to have a Adobe Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro DC separately ? I want the Adobe Reader to only open .PDF and use that as the "Free" VersionAnd i want to use the Pro DC to edit .PDF and some other stuff. Is it possible?

Hi, when I install the latest version of Adobe Reader DC and later try to install the Microsoft Informatiom Protection Plugin it is not possible to install the plugin. The installer quits with the error:On a machine where an older version of Adeobe Reader and the MIP plugin was installed will be updated to version 2022.001.20117 the plugin is also broken. It asks for an e-mail address and later just brings up the following error message:Anyone out there who can help with that?

We are hoping that you are able to assist with an issue our client is experiencing with the latest Adobe Reader update.  Whenever a user attempts to open a "fillable" pdf, Adobe Reader immediately crashes.  This is happening on multiple machines with the same file.  Please note the error below. Please also note that we have run an SFC, repaired Visual C++ where possible, and reinstalled Adobe.   Please let us know of anything else we may attempt to correct the issue. Thank you.

Hello togetherI am using Adobe Customization Wizard DC to deploy Adobe Acrobat x64 in our company.I noticed that in Windows Explorer and especially in Outlook (also 64 bit, Outlook 2016, 2019 and also 2021) I have no preview for PDF documents.For Windows I found the setting under Features (PDF Thumbnail Preview), however I can't find where the setting is for Outlook PDF Handler.Can you help me and tell me what settings I need to set so that Outlook PDF Handler is also installed during Acrobat installation?Thank you very much.

Is anyone from Adobe monitoring and moderating the defect reporting page, https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html ?  It's full of advertising and assorted unrelated rubbish. Makes it difficult for real customers to find or report issues and fills me with zero confidence that anyone from Adobe will ever look at reoprted issues. (But a tip of the hat to any hardworking volunteers; I know that some fora are volunteer-moderated).Alternatively, has anyone on this forum a better link for formally reporting defects in the Windows Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat Standard products, please ? 

Since at least April, I've noticed the Read Out Loud feature of my Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (32-bit) software has not been functioning the way it should. No matter which number I put in the "Words Per Minute" textbox of the "Reading" category in "Preferences," the text of PDF files seems to get read at a snail's pace. Updating my version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (32-bit) to 2021.001.20155 does not seem to have fixed the issue. Looking at the "Read Out Loud" category of "About Adobe Plugins" under the "Help" menu, I see that the "ReadOutLoud.api" file is loaded and certified. I also see the version for the "ReadOutLoud.api" file is 21.1.20155.433178 and the date for it is 04/27/2021 09:53:34 AM.I am capable of reading without any assistance. However, I am a bit of a slow reader, so it is nice to sometimes just have things read to me. Hallo Leute,ich bin Heute extremst abgestossen von so einem Unding. Ich versuche die Inhaltsangabe von meinem PDF Dokument aufzurufen, das seit 30 Minuten. Wie kann man so eine grundlegende Funktion nicht einfach auf einen Button legen und gut??? Dieser Untermensch der dieses zu verantworten  hat sollte dringend eine Vasektomie unternehmen und dann von einer Bruecke springen. Er darf natuerlich sein ganzes Hab und Gut vorher 'Brot fuer die Welt' spenden. Weil das totschlagen von solchen Menschen in aller Regel sehr unbefriedigend ist, (Sind ja schon alles Opfer) muss einfach dieser Blick auf Hass und Mitleid reichen, in der Hoffnung das diese ein einsehen mit Menschheit haben. Hi  I would like to setup a digital signature in adobe reader.Preferences>Signatures>Creation and Appearance Preferences > New> Configure Graphic > imported graphic > File => there i can only select pdf-files to import. I need to import a png file with a signature image. This occures only in Adobe Reader. In Adobe Acrobat Pro is it possible to select other files like png or jpg. Is this a restriction of Adobe Reader? Or what i have to do? Best regardsSimon
