Adobe Premiere

For bins with lots of clips in them, Set Poster Frame can be invaluable in quickly seeing which clips are which, as many of the clips I work with start with black, so the default Poster Frame of the first frame of the clip isn’t useful. I used to have no problem using Set Poster Frame. However, now, whenever I try to use it, nothing happens. I upgraded to PP 2026.0.0 and it still doesn’t work. I’m on a MacBook Pro M2 Max 2023 OS 26.3.

Using Izotope Nectar 2 plugin (AU version).  When opening the plugin, it only opens a grey window.This is new for PP2026 and PP2026.0.1.  PP2025 works fine.I am on OSX 26.2 (25C56)  

Hi all...Is the following a bug in version 25.3.0? I've placed markers throughout a sequence that is an interview. The markers note different sound bites. I find that when I have the markers panel open and when I click on a marker to go to that part of the interview, then Premiere Pro will take me to that location in the timeline. BUT once I hit the space-bar to play, the playhead indicator jumps to the spot I last played in the timeline before I clicked on the marker (in the marker panel) to go elsewhere. I do not have any mark in's or out's in this sequence. Looping is turned off. This happens all the time and it's really annoying because it basically means I can’t play at the markers that I’ve placed. Has anyone else come across this? Is there a setting I should have off or on? Advice appreciated. Thank you.  

Prior to upgrading to v26 of Premiere Pro, Synchronize worked almost every single time. The scratch audio had to be really, really bad for it to not work. Now, with v26, it’s the complete opposite. Just about every time I try to synchronize, I get the message: Audio synchronize failure; Could not synchronize one or more clips in the current selection because a match could not be found.I literally went back to old projects that I had used Synchronize on and I get the same message for clips I know with 100% certainty worked with v25. Now, the audio track pretty much has to be identical for it to find a match. That defeats the entire point of Synchronize.What’s worse, when I transcribe the scratch track with my dedicated vocal track, it transcribes the words almost word for word, so the two tracks are good enough to be transcribed the same but yet Synchronize can’t seem to find a match. What a disappointment!

I considered sending this as a feature request, but the inability to link mono and stereo audio tracks feels more like a bug than anything else. There seems to be no reason why I can’t link different types of audio tracks, but if I have a video track, a stereo track and a mono track, PPro refuses to let me link them, for no apparent reason.

Hi after updating to Premiere Pro 25 I cannot switch out of Software enconding, it is greyed out saying: "Hardware encoding is unavailable, please make sure this system meets hardware and minimum OS requirements for this funcionality"  I am running a GeForce RTX 3070 with the latest Nvidia Studio Drivers (576.02)with AMD Ryzen 9 5900x64 RAM andWindows 11 Pro I have tried everything Reinstalling Premiere Pro, purging the driver with DDU, running Premiere Pro as admin, forcing CUDA through NVIDIA drivers, changing settings in Premiere Console with no success. And it's the same story in AME.   Any other suggestions?

Just opened Premiere to edit a video and the beginning of one of my clips is slowed down or delayed (whichever you call it), which isn't the case in the video file on VLC or the YouTube video I downloaded it from. I did not slow it down myself, that's the raw clip. It's only the beginning of the clip that's slowed down/delayed, the rest of the clip is fine. Win 11 25H2, Premiere Pro 26.0. I just updated to Premiere 26.0.1 and have noticed in the Source Monitor after I’ve selected In and Out points that if I adjust those points while in the audio of the clip it then creates separate In and Out points for the clip.  Now when I drop that clip into my timeline it does not have the same points for Video and Audio.Can anyone tell me why?  Or at least how to disable that feature? 

where did the masks functions move in the latest update? I need to create custom shape masks, not just cropping - - and that option seems to have disappeared. 

I’ve just tried to apply the ex-FilmImpact video effect Compound blur on a stock footage and I get insanely slow performance with it in Premiere 26.0.1. I recently noticed my Source and Program monitors colours don’t match in my projects, source is slightly lighter than program. It doesn’t just happen with this clip, but all that I’ve tried so far. High Quality Playback is turned on for both monitors.Any help would be great :)  

What the hell have you done to nested sequences?? I can no longer simply create a 3-channel video..every time I try to drag a 1080 sequence into my 5760 it brings in the source files from that sequence which defeats the whole purpose as all the scaling goes all over the place. 

I'm using Premiere Pro 26.0 on Windows 10.Please tell me the name of the shortcut key that moves the selected clip to the playhead.Could you tell me...? 

Title just about sums up the issue I'm having. I can't scrub, drop videos into, play, or do just about anything in Premiere Pro without the screen going completely black for a few seconds.I've tried the following fixes- Updating Premiere Pro- Rolling Back Drivers- Updating Windows- Turning on GPU Acceleration I'm stumped, and seriously need to get back to work on a few projects. Here are my PC's specs:GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900KRAM: 64GB DDR4 at 2400mhz

Spell Checker in Premiere Pro not working at all when reviewing captions in the text function. Despite newer versions in both premier and macOS coming out the problem continues. Help?Premeir Version 26.0.1 (Build 3)Apple M2 Max 96GB MemorymacOS Tahoe Version 26.3 

I wanted to have a handwritten animation in my video, so I screen recorded myself writing in photoshop. Green background, wrote a handwriting layer [to trace] in red, and then recorded myself tracing the red with blue. Opaque brushes, no transparency. In ultra-keying the separate colors out, I have found there to be certain elements I am unable to get rid of. As you can see, I have the red-turned-gray selected in the key color, but despite messing around with the sliders in every way, the color won't disappear. Also, I have tried to key out the outline of the photoshop brush cursor in premiere as well, but it oddly disappears and reappears in certain frames, and always blinks away the minute I move my cursor to select it with the dropper tool. Some of these issues seem to go away when I render and replace the composition, but that removes the transparency I've been working to achieve. Why is this so finicky? The keying is also super inconsistent across cuts of the same footage source..

After installing Premiere Pro 26.0.1, I tried running my UXP plugin using UXP Developer Tool, but it fails to load.I get the following error message:The plugin does not run at all.Before upgrading, it was working properly in the previous Premiere version.Premiere 25.6.2 Version is OK

Ok, just updated to v 25.1 opened my projects in progress to find out that none of them uses my iGPU to decode.Went on checking it with different formats that are decoded (h264 8-bit 4:2:0, h265 8-bit 4:2:0, h265 10-bit 4:2:0, h265 10-bit 4:2:2) by the iGPU - all of them show 0% load. What is going on, guys? Why is it "new version - new bugs" thing every time? My CPU immediately started being loaded more, like by 60% all the time, even though my GPU does the decoding, whereas on the previous versions the average CPU load was 20-30% with the iGPU doing all the decoding job. Yes, I tried reinstalling both Premiere Pro (as well as resetting its cache, preferences and plugins via the start+shift menu) and all the drivers.  Steps to reproduce? Open a project or create one, import a knowingly decoded video, put it on your timeline, press Play. Watch the the Windows Task manager - Performance graphs. i7 14700K, RTX 4080, 64 Gb ram, SSDs, Win 11 24h2

Since I cannot find my previous bugreport after the redesign of Adobe community, not even in my profile > recent posts I have to start another one. This time it concerns the fresh 26.0 version of Premiere Pro.Render and Replace feature is glitchy in v. 26.0. It fails with timeremapping. Steps to reproduce:start an empty project, import media, cut it on your timeline take one clip and timeremap it. Try to render and replace. Result: Render and replace fails in vertical sequences. Steps to reproduce:from the previously created horizontal sequence copy and paste a clip in a newly created vertical sequence.  Fill the screen with it using the context command. Render and replace. Sometimes you get an error like above, sometimes you get this one: Render and replace fails with the new object mask. Steps to reproduce:in the horizontal sequence select a non-timeremapped clip, select it with an object mask, track it, place the unassigned mask on the opacity Render and replace the masked clip.

@Adobe, I wonder If it would be possible to hide the Bitrate Settings/Target Bitrate Slider a bit deeper in depths of the software. (exporting via Premiere) As you might know we alle have a lot of time and we love endless clicking and scrolling. Especially this feature is not used very often and it also kind of not important for professionals.Another idea would be the lock the access to this feature with 2 factor authentication or password security? Would that be safe enough preventing users to use this feature?Kopfschüttel!
