You should only be seeing this in the Develop module. Yes? Its an exposure warning. Look in the Histogram on the upper right. You will see a small triangle in the laft and right corners of the histogram. Clicking on those activates the warnings. Alternatively press the "J" key to toggle the warnings on/off.

First I'm assuming the writing is black or dark and the paper is darker than white but still light. You can create a new layer above the background layer, fill it with a lightish color (beige, warm white etc.) then set the blend mode to multiply. This should yield an even color tone without affecting the writing. If your issue is more of a tonal density difference you can use a new layer, fill with 50% gray and set the blend mode to overlay. Then use the dodge tool to lighten any dark areas of the paper. In the options set to Highlights and use a low exposure amount. If you need to darken the writing after all that you can use a curves adjustment layer to deepen the shadows (writing)

If I use InDesign CC. Select an image, right click and select copy, then switch to PS CS6, create a new document, the resolution is 72ppi. - regardless of the resolution of the placed image If I instead take a screenshot of the image and create a new document in PS CS6 the resolution will be 144ppi. This is the same behavior in PS CC 2019. 20.0.1 However, if I emulate what I believe you are doing (regardless of the reason why) and set a specific resolution for one document, the next document will be the same resolution in CS6 but you are correct, the result is not the same in CC and there is no way to maintain the resolution from the previous image. Now the good news. If you know the resolution you want AND it is always the same then you can create an action that will run prior to pasting your copied file. In my example I created and action that would a. double the pixel dimension via percentage (200%) b. change the resolution to a specified amount (144ppi) This would give you the same result as what you have been getting in CS6. So your workflow that you have become used to doesn't change. To make the action run upon creating a new document use File > Scripts > Script events manager... The action Note that this will double the size and change the resolution for any new document unless you uncheck the "Enable Events to Run Scripts/Action" button

Hence the statement: "However, Im not sure where you are seeing the camera Raw data." Because the JPGs don't show that info whereas the Tiff files do.

Choose the appropriate setting in the Save For Web dialog. However, Im not sure where you are seeing the camera Raw data. In this example I created 2 jpg files from a single tiff. Saved one with All Metadata (All) and the the other with No Metadata (None) The resulting files showed no <CRS> tags for Camera Raw settings. Unlike the original tiff which contained them all.

After you move the files in the Lightroom folder launch Lightroom, target the topmost folder and right click. Then choose "Find Missing folder". Once this folder is "found" all images and folders below that folder will also be found.

While you could save a preset style to apply the same "effect" the result will always be dependent on the underlying image - that to which it is blending. If your intention is to preserve a rasterized version of the text you have without the background image you can achieve it by essentially erasing the background images data. Using Image > Calculations you can make a new channel. Then apply that channel as a mask on a merged text and background layer. Invert it. Most of the image will now be transparent. Apply an amount off levels adjustment to the MASK to increase the contrast. Then carefully on the mask use a black brush to "erase" or hide the remaining areas of the background that are not part of the text. The result is the text on a layer with the included degradation. This can be placed over any image if the image is below it. Note that this is not editable text and will always have the distressed look based on the original blue boarding you show.

I wouldn't say Im confident that its a Mojave issue given that you have at least one drive that functions the way you want. Next I would consider the catalog to be corrupt (despite it operating on the internal drive) and look for the latest backup to push back on to the external drive and try again. Failing that I would create a new catalog and import from the catalog that will launch on the internal HD (the original in question). The goal being to keep any collections, changes etc you have already done.on the external drive and test its functionality. Then, if all else fails. backup your assets and reformat the drive. put the assets back. put the catalog bag. And see if the reformatting fixed anything.

It seems like the issue may well be Mojave related. However, if you let the catalogs reside on the computer you should be fine. Don't copy the assets, just the Lightroom catalogs and associated file (previews etc)

Do you have a filter activated? Press Cmd + L or Ctrl + L to disable filters. Are you looking in the correct folder. Try clicking on All Photographs at the top left of the Library Module in the Catalog Panel. Are you using Lightroom Classic CC? Which version?

The button on the pen has two options or two buttons. One is configured for right click (and therefore the contextual options) You are probably pressing it by accident. Open the preferences for the Wacom tablet. Select the application (photoshop) and pen. Map the button to do nothing or something else that you may find more useful. Here is the Mac Preferences dialog for reference.

I understand the micro adjustment/movement you are talking about but I don't believe there is a method to disable. I resort to a more deliberate handling of the mouse. IE. not using a light touch and avoiding fingers gliding over the surface.

While you can't delete more than one step at a time you can delete steps that are above the last one if you change the panel options. Turn on "Allow Non Linear History" Note: When you return to the last step the document won't look any different. What this allows for is further editing without using up the 50 (default) steps

I use the same method to increase/decrease hardnesss and size. However on a Mac its a 2 key operation. Opt + Cntrl. I presume, if it follows most keyboard conventions and translations then the Windows equivalent would be Alt + Ctrl and not simply the Alt key alone.

Its still a curves layer. The icon you are seeing indicates that it is an adjustment layer. When you click on it you will see the curves panel. It is showing that way because of the size of the layers. In the Layers panel, at the upper right you'll see three lines (a hamburger menu). Click on it and choose from the list "Panel Options" In the dialog you will be able to change the size of the thumbnail. Choose a larger one.

If all the PO numbers need to be the same then recording an action would be suitable. Preferably all the numbers are in the identical location on each invoice too.
