After Effects

Hi! I have an animation where a series of text boxes slide from right to left. I want that, whenever a text box reaches a certain point on the screen (green line), it freezes for some time. As an addition, I would also like for the text to become bold or bigger.Below I attach what I want to achieve. I did it by carefully making a new bold textbox appear when time was right, but I have a lot of texboxes sliding, and I would like to not do this for this one. I never used expressions, but if it was possible to transform (sustain position, enlarge, make it bold) any textbox that reached the green line, it would be great. Thank you  

Recently I've been getting a very frustrating error in AE, anytime I move or resize the Composition window I get the following error "Direct 2D Drawbot Error. HRESULT: -2003238911" This only happens when I resize or move windows affecting the composition window. This happens even when nothing is open in the window, even on a brand new project. I can move other window panels around so long as it doesn't affect the composition window.  I'm using AE 25.6.0 and have tried rolling back through every version of AE 25 and still have the issue.My system specs areWindows 11Intel i9-13900kNvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Super96gb RAMI've attached a screen recording of the issue. Thanks

This is an issue I've begun experiencing this year.  I'm praying someone can help me.<IMAGE ATTACHED TO OUTLINE ISSUE> SUMMARY:I will create and work on simple projects that use a combo of JPGs, mp4s or MOV assets.  AE will operate fine.  Renders will be fine.  Everything will be fine. ..But without fail, days/weeks/months later, I will go to open one of these projects and be met with an infinite loop of pop-up messages  Each pop-up will appear one after another, and they will say the same thing for each asset in my library  1) "AE error: File Exists, but couldn't be opened."and then2)"AE Warning: Unable to open ____. If the file is open in another application, closing it may solve the problem." ...I will spend minutes clicking OK for each of these pop-ups, but they never stop.  Eventually I will always have to force-quit after effects. I know it could be a number of things, but I'm most confused by the fact that th

Is it possible to use color correction to turn the first image into the second one? If possible, how do I do it?  

My After Effects program is up to date, but I can't open it because I get error 126. The Adobe website suggests uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but that didn't work for me. Does anyone know how to fix this? The message "LoadLibrary failed with error 126"

I’m getting green bouncing pixel noise in my comps and renders when adding specific effects to a layer. This has been happening for over a year, after many OS and software updates. I first noticed the issue when adding Maxon’s Red Giant Optical Glow. This effects is the main troublemaker. I’m now noticing even effects like Gaussian Blur or Fast Box Blur are also contributing to the problem. The glitch can happen on everything from .mov, .mp4, shape layers, solids, etc. It doesn’t seem to be dependent on layer type. I’ve changed the renderer from Metal to Software Only, turned off hardware acceleration, turned off multi-frame rendering, with no luck. If I send the problem project to a coworker’s computer (who is using the exact same Mac specs as mine) he can view and render the comp with effects and have no artifacts. Side note: I’m also having render issues with Maxon Cinema 4D. Maxon is looking into the problem and is thinking it might be a hardware issue over a software issue. If tha

Hey all,I'm experiancing a weird error when trying to install the Red Giant plugin. When trying to install from a freshly installed Maxon app is says there was an error and the states that I need MacOs 11.7.10 or newer. I'm confused because this is a Mac Studio with MacOs Ventura 13.0I've already tried a simple restart and no luck. I appreciate any guidance or suggestions, thanks! 

When rendering MP4 videos with version 25.2, black edges may appear at the edges. MOV and AVI are normal, and when using the third-party plugin Voukoder for rendering, it is also normal 

I'm trying to use the Video Copilot: Saber effect on this shape, but I'm under the impression it first must be turned into a mask.  One guide I followed had me use the auto-trace but that created like 30 keyframes that wound back and forth. Is there a simpler way to make this exact shape? It seems so simple, and because I don't truly understand masks, I don't understand why I can't just copy/paste this somewhere, haha. Thank you! 

If you are a 3D artist doing compositing of your frame sequences in AE, you know the pain of arduous importing dozens of sequences with all the render passess. I've been searching for a tool that will do that for me, but none worked correctly with my workflow. So I decided to make my own script that will do just that: automatically import VRay image sequences with render passes into After Effects and generate a clean folder hierarchy.If it helps me, perhaps it can help someone else too. Would any of you be interested if I share the script?

Fallback fonts don't work for Korean. Take this example "중요성".   When you type them in AE on a Text Layer with a non-Korean font, you get a blank layer,   The Text Layer should automatically fallback to a font that supports CJK characters. This works for other languages. I want a line to follow this motion path. On the picture where the keyframes are little dots, it works how I want. On the picture where the keyframes are squares, it doesn't do anything at all. My process was as follows: Motion track a videoCopy that motion onto a null objectCreate a shape layerUse the pen tool to make a single dotAdd a pathApply the position data from the null object to the path--At this point on the first try, it made a shape exactly in the shape of the path (what I wanted)--Apply "Trim Paths" and then add the appropriate keystrokes so the path is drawn over time Because I didn't like the smoothness of the initial motion tracking, I went and adjusted a keyframe to make it smoother, and then ran through the steps again. Except this time it didn't work, as shown in the photos. Can anyone help me figure out this minor problem that causes the whole thing to not work? when I go to AE there is no Advanced 3D and Draft 3D does not work. I have reviewed everything, no one has such an error, only I have it, and in the AE settings there are no most of the functions    

 I have Move time to preview time checked, and it works great but suddenly decides to stop working. Playing video works, but stopping stops at the start point, not end point, only randomly after working for awhile. I can succesfully motion track the object in the video, but I want to follow the motion tracking with a brush stroke or something like that. Can anybody help point me to somewhere that shows me how to do this? Or give me a couple steps? Thank you!

Have a project which uses alot of advanced lightening I think it's a fairly old project maybe a year or so. But in the latest ae it doesn't seem to show any of the effects. Properties all animated but nothing displays. I tried to setup a new project, with solid and the right face added and still nothing. Very odd. 

How to??
