I have multiple glass plynths I am trying to light serveral are set up and working fine (they have 4 area light surrounding the glass to light up the interior). The issue I am having now is whenever I add or copy new lights into the scene they dont seem to light anything up?  There is probably a much easier way to get the effect i want but I am fairly new so still learning. I have multiple coloured glass pillars inside each other and then wanted to make them glow.  

Where did the Max CPU cores dialoque go? I have current 2.4.1 version of substance painter.I want to use the my CPU to render as a work around for the GPU max vram bug but can not find it. I can turn of the GPU button in the rendering settings but I can not find the CPU Max cores dialoque as listed in your documentation (see window pasted below).I have 32 cpu cores so cpu rendering is almost as fast as GPU nvidea geforce RTX 2070 with 8 vram on my machine. However I need to limit the cores the renderer uses so I can run system, photoshop, etc while rendering in the "background". I would use GPU but there seems to be a known bug with off loading vram when it maxes out which causes system to bog down and almost stop running.Please help! I have burned a lot of expensive time trying to work around no Rendering Q, GPU max vram bug and finally trying to render with cpu while continuing to work in photoshop! Will beta version help? If yes, how do I get access to beta?  

Hi, up until 3 days ago Adobe Substance 3D worked correctly, today once opened, I can no longer see the grid, backgrounds and props.I cleared the cache, updated the drivers, reinstalled the program.Please help me I have a job to do.

I try to place image on model.restarted - no good.reloaded - no good. Decals:AI file (RGB) - Size: 161kb -- hangs   Loading........ AI file (CMYK)  - Size: 987kb -- hangs   Loading........PNG file  - Size: 47kb -- hangs   Loading........ Very Very Simple decals.Have to continually Force Restart.Any current issues??  No one else having problems?Thanks all, -Em

Stager will crash while attempting to open any file. The files wwill attempt to load but the software will crash while the bar reads a random percent. Usually it's 2% but will sometimes list 4%-40%. I used to get lucky and the file would end up loading but after several computer restarts this has become a concernable issue. My co-worker has no issues opening said files on his end and our computers have comparable specs. I'm working off the latest Studio Drivers with a clean install. I also tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it and running into the same issues. My specs below:Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz (20 CPUs), ~3.6GHzMemory: 32768MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 32686MB RAMDirectX Version: DirectX 12DirectX Database Version: 1.0.8NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Display Memory: 24374 MBDedicated Memory: 8032 MB

when I was working on the project for long time , the application got crashes, and I Lose everything I worked on. I faced this is  problem many times !!!

This is the SAME issue others have written about....   I wanted to make sure I write my own post instead of commenting.Something is definitely up with IMPORT...       It just sits with LOADING...X%(It may be files that exceed Xmb, but it's definitely not working)...Since the update, cannot import into Stager, I assure you! (and I use it all day, every day).It's appearing in multiple conversations and posts, so it's unlikely that it's coincidence.....Hopefully, they will address the issue!thanks so much!! Hi there,facing severe issue with stager v 2.14 when loading files made from older stager versions.Windows 11 OS.I tried reinstall, no help.Stager shows loading window up to 100%, bibliothek is loaded.Then shows new loading window with blue line showing ??, no percentage.This brings stager to freeze complete.Only windows task manager stops executing, task manager shows 3 stager in action.Now installed prior version 2.13 and no more issue.Anyone facing same issue?Please help,Hans 

Well I think I'm done - paying Adobe to develop a sustainable app and having zero productivity is doing my head in.  Maybe it's the latest NVidia Studio driver update getting in the way?  Perhaps it's cleaning out a main drive to provide more head room for the operating system? Or the 3 or so attempts to flush out my system and reinstall Windows11.  I wonder if it's the latest version of the App itself not being friendly with an RTX 3080 ti or the i9 processor with ample RAM.  But when you can't even literally close the program, because despite basic workings it refuses to quit on user demand?  Or when  opening a basic file... not being able to hide simple parts of a simple model? Or move to the render stage to output a simple object?  You really have to wonder what the hell am I tolerating this all for? I'm done with stager. Hi, today i purchase 3D subsription and want to shift to stager from dimensions. About one year I worked with Dimensions. My projects is 3D glass bottles with decales. In dimensions it was no problem to create bottle, put label on it and after that export this as model to library and later on import this model to another scene in another file - the label remains as separate layer. In Stager imported model merge label with glass in one material - so there is no posibility to update labet to another one (same size, but diferrent info on it)?????

It's always giving me broken image at the end of rendering. I don't know why. it looked absolutely fine during rendering but this is the result....

I have Stager V2.1.4 when exporting scene in USD format, the exporting folder is empty with no output files. 

I have an NVIDIA RTX 4080 card, well capable of running your program, and am trying to do a home interior design and have had nothing but problems with your program. Everytime I open my file it either comes up blank or locks up or freezes or crashes when it does open and I hit ray tracing. The computer is brand new, using Windows 11 with I9 processor. Should be no reason for this to be happening.

Here's a screenshot of my computer specs: To elaborate on the title, I'm able to open existing .ssg files of any size just fine, but when I try to import  any 3D file (I've tried .stl, .obj, .mtl, .glb, and .usdc) above 65MB into Stager it won't open—the "Loading" window appears and will run indefinitely (I've had it run for more than 24 hours to see if it was just and extended loading time)I've tried troubleshooting measures such as restarting the computer and uninstalling/reinstalling the app but nothing's working. 

I was unable to open apps adobe 3d stager,  when i import object or anything into viewport its getting stuck thereonly showing loading bar continuouslyHelp Please

This is the first time this has ever happened but usually, when I go to place images onto an object, the images is placed onto the object no problem. However, when I'm trying to drag the image from my files onto the object, the object disappears and the image also isn't visible. Please watch the attached video for more context as I feel that is a bad explanation. I have already uninstalled and re-installed the program. Thanks in advance,Liam.

As of a previous version (2.1.1) I have been unable to open ANY saved stager scene/file to use again.Upon opening a saved scene, from File -> Open.../Open Recent/or Recent displayed thumbnails, the program goes to a blank pre-loading state and hangs there indefinitely. It doesn't matter where the file is saved to (I have multiple drives on my computer) or what was in it. The program simply won't open saved files.File -> New and importing any 3D fbx file (I can't say for other file types) results in the same type of hang up.I am able to browse and open drop down menus in the program, but it never actually creates or opens a scene to begin working in.Computer's specs:This is getting exceptionally frustrating and any help or suggestions would be great.

 I have been having this issues for ages and am finally posting about it. I've been encountering this issue everytime. A render completes, successfully saves to disk, however within stager, it reports a cancelled render. I'm unable to exit this state and need to relaunch Stager to fire off another render. 

Hi! I think this is a processing power problem but I wanted to mention it just in case it's not, maybe I can still salvage my file. I was building a fairly complex 3D scene in Stager and was importing another body when I noticed the new body's name did not show up in the scene list. I quit the file and reopend it to discover all of my items were gone from the scene list and thus no longer editable. Everything is still on the stage but the labels in the scene list are gone and the "actions" tab is also unactive, so no selecting materials etc. All previous projects open and are working fine.The file size of the Stager document is 858MB.I'm running Mac OS Ventura on a Mac Studio M1 Chip64 Gigs of RamShould I look for more processing power or is something else going on?Thanks!

This issue has been killing me. If a model is sent to stager from painter, then you cannot replace any of the maps individually from within stager. Example:You have a model in stager, you've moved it around, and even duplicated it. Now you need to make a base color change to one small component. ,You don't want to redo all of the layout work you've done in stager, but there is no refresh from Painter function. Furthermore, you might have displacements set to a high resolution that took a while to process. If you reimport, you'll have to wait on that again. You think, no problem. I'll just export an updated base color map from painter and import that into the base color channel that you TOTALLY DO HAVE ACCESS TO in Stager. Nope not allowed. Your only option is to edit it within photoshop, paste in your new basecolor map, and then it works.  I could understand this being locked out if it broke communication between Painter and Stager, except there is no communication

Discovered an issue with unlinked materials (so you can change the color for the individual item) when a decal is applied. I had upgraded to 2.1.2 and on save, 5 seconds after the save finished, the decal would delete itself. I rolled back to 2.1.1 and the problem appears to be fixed, but the bug needs to be addressed for future versions.

Model import from Solidworks is broken for Solidworks 2023 files.  I found some older files that haven't been updated since Solidworks 2022 and they import fine, but everything saved in 2023 errors.Please update the importer.  Exporting as a .step file works,but it would be nice to be able to skip that step. I have started creating a cover page with a render for every drawing that I do that gets sent out to a customer, so any reduction in steps and file count would be appreciated.  

Hi, I tried using the latest version of substance stager after several months and the software keeps freezing on the launch screen. I've attached the screen where the applications get frozen. I've tried reinstalling the application and tried using the older versions as well but the same problem persists. Can I please get some fix for this please? 

The new Stager update has this weird bug where the entire screen goes blank. So, it freezes and it's impossible to restore any work (corrupts the files too) - won't close without a "force quit action." I have had to do this several times already and it's very unreliable/concering; Here's a screenshot, if anyone has ideas. 🤷🏻‍♀️(Don't think it's my laptop but for reference, I am running macOS Sonoma, on MacBook Pro M1 chip.)  

Hi there,the UI of Stager (Windows 11) is unfortunately very blurry. Unlike other Adobe programs. On the screenshot you can see a part of Adobe Bridge over Stager - that's where the difference is most noticeable.The resolution on this screen is 1920-1080 pixels (100%).Is there a workaround to fix this problem?Thanks a lot!
