After I add a decal (jpg) to an object of any kind - the material just turns black. I tried different images and objects with no success. I generated UV Maps - so that shouldn't be the problem. I also can't see objects in liveview mode - they just completely disappear. What is going wrong over there at Adobe? During the last few months I had nothing but issues with the whole Substance-Product-Line but also with Photoshop etc...
After installing and starting Substance 3D Stager, my stage was just black. I can drag and drop shapes into my scene. I can also see a cyan square which indicates, where the shape will be dropped. But after droping I cannot see anything but that black stage. I can open scenes which I created earlier on another computer. But the stage stays also black. Maybe it is a graphic card problem? Is use the NVIDIA T600 Laptop GPU. Thanks for your help!
Recently my Substance 3D Stager's interface appears different. When I add a model it appears as a flat black colour. In addidtion, the transform gizmo (control) appears to be corrupt as the appearance is different to how it normally is. When I revert to version 1.1.2, it is fine. However I can't keep working in that version because I have big scenes that I have built in the latest version and I can't open them in an older version.
When I click the 'Add and import content' button in Stager and select "Browse 3D assets in Marketplace", the Creative Cloud desktop application opens and displays an error message that says "Something went wrong." I also notice there is a "Go to Stock & Marketplace" link at the bottom of the Libraries tab, within the Assets panel. When I click on that, once again the Creative Cloud application opens without the error message, but there doesn't appear to be anything here, save for a handful of "starter pack" libraries (mostly colors, fonts and brushes). Is this a bug?
As of this morning, I am no longer able to open files in Stager.The files load to about 90%, post a warning "Unable to open" but that message is covered by a "loading" bar immediately that never goes away. I only could read it by doing a video capture.All the files I can't open have models from Adobe Assets in a custom library stored on an external hard drive. If I create a new file just using starter assets I seem to be able to re-open that, but that doesn't help access files I have spent about 30 hours on in the past week. These files were opening successfully prior to this morning.There was an NVIDIA driver update as of 5/24, applied that this morning, rebooted, no change.Video of issue attached. Stager launches, but splash screen is on the other monitor. FFWD to 27 seconds. You can pause to see the message before it is covered. Not super helpful.Sending logs via the email address in the message.
Has anyone had an issue with opening a file and only getting a blank screen? Is there a resolution?
I have trial mi pcintel core i5nvidia geforce gtx 1650 some ideas?
Hi there, I have a recently acquired Nvidia 3090Ti, complete with studio driver 516.59 , and sadly Stager does not wish to use GPU rendering, telling me it is unsupported. The version of stager is listed in the Creative Cloud app as 1.2.2.I hope there is a way to resolve this!
It seems that in some cases, glTF files with skinned meshes import incorrectly in Stager, producing wrong results. This file exhibits that problem: https://github.com/prefrontalcortex/glTF-Sample-Models/raw/carbon-frame-bike/2.0/CarbonFrameBike/glTF-Binary/CarbonFrameBike.glb It looks like Stager is not respecting the glTF spec here, which states that the transform of skinned nodes is irrelevant - their bones are the only thing that affects how the resulting mesh looks. Hello,My stager (last update) is currently having a big issue. Since my last save, I'm not able to see the scenery assets, nor actions or properties menus on the right side of the screen (see shot), and in rendering mode i'm not able to click on the rendering button. I reinstalled the software and all the CC suite, rebooted the PC, but the main issue is that i'm currently working on an important scene that i composed in Stager, but because of the issue i'm not even able to export the scenery to another format. All that happened after importing an image as a stamp on an object. In fact, i'm not able to make any action, I cannot delete elements, change their texture, etc. Thanks in advance for the help, Pierre
GPU rendering encoutering error
Hey Adobe-fam, I've had projects piled up that depended on the success of Dimension's renderings, that now I am over a month behind on work. After months of having issues with Dimension not finishing a render past 50%, I decided to try out Stager. Tried it, it worked for a render or two. Now, it's back to what dimension's problem was: After the rendering reaches 50% it goes to :01, 0% and stops. Computer CPU fan turns off, etc. Application still responds to button clicks and restarting the renders, but NEVER completes. Equipment Specs;AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 4.05 GHzNVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER16.0 GB Ram64-bit operating system, x64-based processor I need to explain the failures and extra cost now to management, so I will need a solution from your team or a full refund. This is not tested well enough to charge $50-75 more per month and should be considered for further beta testing until it is able to produce consistent results.
I updated software today and right after i updated i noticed a ton of pixelation on viewport. Picture 1 shows my camera from a distancePicture 2 is how it looks like wheen zooming in a bit more, the camera eats away at the object. This update literally made my experience worse...
Dear Team of Adobe ,I updated adobe 3d stager to Versión 1.2.0-20220421.r_steam.7132-804036e , and now, when i change a texture from a 3d model, the software uses a lot of time to show the paremeters of new applied texture, arround 10 o 20 seconds, the previous version runs ok and is the same scene.Another strange and magically event is: If I do the action of copy and paste a model, for example a Cube and I undo de copy, some times and few loong seconds later ... the deleted obect is tranformed in a folder... 🙂 I work with a rxt3080 and a Intel 10980xe with 96Gbytes of Ram, Thanks in advance.Lu.

I'm rendering using ray-tracing a substance designer material placed on a cylinder; although, the height map from the material is not casting self shadows only the cylinder is causing shadows ?It maybe the hight map is an issue but usually there would be some self shadowing.
Hi. I created a scene in Stager with a lot of elements and until yesterday everything was working fine but today I can't open the file. The loading is done until 90% with a pause at 45% and then I have the message "a problem caused the application to stop » I just re install stager and it's the same result, also tested with the beta version and on M1 MBP. Hii, I am new to these software.....I have been getting a blank black surface without any grid lines and not able to access the models as well.please can anyone help me with this issue?
