Captivate

I am having a problem where users who don't pass my quiz SCORM on the first try, they basically get stuck and no matter how many times they take it again and pass it, it is still marked as incomplete unless we go into our LMS back end and manually pass them.  This is a file I inherited from a previous Instructional designer, So I'm not sure if there is just a weird setting I am not finding or something else. My Pass fail percent is set at 84% and my LMS administrator did some trouble shooting on their end and confirmed it wasn't an LMS issue it is an issue with the scorm file. Here is their exact quote:"this leads me to believe that there is an internal issue within the SCORM file and how it's sending it's commits along with the type of commits it's sending to the portal during failure of exam attempts that should be reviewed within your course provider program"  Here are my settings, I was wondering if it was the 100% slide view issue, that I have seen on othe

PC running on Mini Mac M2 OS:Sonoma 14.3.1 Following a CPC crash (for no apparent reason) The CPC preferences> Quiz settings were corrupted as follows:The Quiz Required field set to Answer All - “The user must answer every question” changed to “Optional - The user can skip this quiz”.2.  Under “Settings”:The following check boxes became unchecked: “Shuffle Answers”“Review Mode Navigation buttons”“Allow User to Review the Quiz”All of my 15 modules have had to be reset and re-run. Also but I believe not relatedFlashing buttonsHTML5 in browser When an image button is repositioned and published HTML5 in browser, the button flashes between its original position and its new position. To fix this anomaly, the image button has to be deleted and replaced. Anyone haad this happen after a crash? Thank you Bob

Hello!1) In my Captivate test project, there are two buttons and the two buttons have their own popups and close buttons. 2) The popups are initially hidden and will only appear if the buttons i.e. "Follow us" or "Contact us" are clicked 3) There is a smart shape used as a button called "Exit course" and it has audio inserted into it. 4) While the audio is playing if the learner clicks the "follow us" or "contact us" button, the "Exit course" audio should stop, and when the learner clicks the close button the audio should continue from where it stopped and it works fine. 5) When the whole audio from the "Exit course" smartshape is done playing, the learner clicks the close button which appears after clicking the "follow us" or "contact us" button. Hello! When I take a quiz, the Quiz Results page has an issue calculating the {correct-questions} variable. The quiz was made with the original click-boxes and text entry boxes that are inputted when you make the captivate quiz. I noticed the click-boxes will always count as a correct question whether the user clicks the box correctly or not. Text-entry boxes are counted accurately by the {correct-questions} variable. Here is a screen shot of when I answered every question wrong and all the questions were click boxes.   Here is a screenshot of the click-box properties. I am wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before and has a solution to fixing the {correct-questions} variable without redoing all the clickboxes. If I make a new click box, the {correct-questions} counter reads it accurately. HiWe ar working on a course for a product and was thinking of using a 360 (3d) image of the product that the user can turn around using the mouse/finger.  To explore the buttons/settings on the product we woould like to use hotspots. The hotspots would be attached and follow the product around the product when its turned.Could be alot to ask for but is this a possibility in captivate ?

Asset Panel is blank When you click Asset Panel on the toolbar, the panel appears empty. Solution Download Assetpanel.txt file and save it on your machine locally. Rename the file Assetpanel.js. Copy AssetPanel.js file from the attached to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2019 x64\ui_components\AssetsPanel folder. Restart Adobe Captivate and launch the Asset Panel. Unable to download characters from the Asset Panel When you try to download characters from the Discover tab, a blank screen appears. The file gets downloaded in the Temp folder; you cannot open the file. Solution Windows Clear preferences. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2019 x64\utils. Please, I need your help. I have a slide with text and a foldable card container and I need to add audio, but Captivate only allows me to add audio to the entire slide, doesn't it?

We are having trouble with SCORM files sending multiple completions to our LMS.  We are using Captivate 2019.  I've attached the settings for publishing the file as well as what the LMS is seeing as multiple completions being sent over to them.  Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to input a smart shape in to the newest captivate? 

I'm porting (updating) Captivate projects to Articulate Storyline. I won't upgrade to Sonoma until we've completed this project. Still, I was curious to know if anyone has upgraded and if they had any issues with Adobe Captivate Classic after the update.

I'm having a problem with hotspot not rendering correctly in preview compared to in Captivate. Essentially the hotspots are moving from where they are placed rendering them not in the correct place when testing. Have tried in multiple browsers all the the same result. Any suggestions would be appreciate as I'm really getting to my wits end with new Captivate and am so close to throwing in the towel on it. In Captivate In browser

With Captivate can I, along with a movie of the desktop movement, record not only my audio but that of all participants of a Skype session, for example.  I can record my voice but I want to record everyone's voice in the audio track.  Possible?  How?  Thanks.

How do you edit a button's text? No matter what I try, the text reverts to say BUTTON. Shouldn't I be able to change it by clicking in the button and changing it?

Hi,I'm coming back to Captivate for software simulation after a couple of years and initially it made sense to start with the 'All New' version (version 12 or Charm). Except, can't see how to add smart objects, for example a roll over effect or a custom navigation bar. Have I missed something or is this not a feature in the current new version?Thanks!PQ

Captivate v9. Windows 8. Full Admin user permissions.Trying to create projects for mobile devices. 1 slide project with an image and text. Selecting  Publish to My Computer as HTML/SWF with Output Format: HTML5 results in " HTML Publish. Error(s) Internal Error. [OK]Also error when trying to preview any and all slides: "Published failed".

Is there any way to change he name of a PDF in a captivate package exported to HTML? The screenshot below shows what the document was renamed to on export when viewing in browser.Ive found the location of the file and tried renaming it but i have been unable to find where the file is called in the code. 

I currently use Adobe Captivate 2017 where I work. My desktop computer (programs and everything) are being transferred to a new laptop (Windows 10). I have the license number for the Captivate 2017 software my company purchased for me, however, I do not have the software to download the program.I've looked everywhere on the Adobe Captivate sites, but it is no where to be found. Can someone please point me in the direction of the download so that system support where I work can download Captivate 2017 to my new laptop?Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for a tutorial that shows the basic drag and drop functionality. The ones Ive found so far are a bit more advanced for what we ae looking for.We just want a static image of the EMR chart at the top of the screen and 'paperwork' comes in from the bottom left. Our new Medical Records employees will then just drag the 'form' onto the correct tab to file it, and be graded accordingly. Thank you

I am totally new on creating e-learning courses but more than 20 years experience on running physical courses.
