Download & Install

Had to get a new PC since my current PC would not support Win-11... Am re-installing all my 'old' applications that I was using on the prior PC. My Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended seems to start the installtion but when it gets to the final stages of popping up a link to log into my Adobe account, the page just stays stuck in a spinning blue circle and the installtion never completes (screen-snip attached). I have no issues logging into my Adobe account by opening a new browser window, but that does nothing to help complete the installtion.  😞 

i never registered my cs5 for windows 7 15+ years ago, my laptop died, i lost two of the 3 disks, but i have the serial number. how do i find a copy of cs5 and can i install it with this serial number?

My memory is that when I signed up for the cloud service(at it's origin) I was guarenteed my price forever. Did I miss some fine print? I appreciate your holding to your promice years ago now stick to it. Why have you gone back on your word? 

My laptop’s C drive shows that Photoshop and Illustrator have both been updated to the 2026 versions, but the Adobe folders in my hard drive still contain Photoshop 2023 and 2024, and both of them can open and run normally. Why is that? Can anyone tell me?

I'm trying to install Photoshop 2026, but it's incompatible. It says a processor with Advanced Vector Extensions X (AVX2) support is required.

I have had my laptop rebuilt which means I need to reinstall photoshop but every time I try to do that is stalls at 9% download.  haven't found much helpful on the forums and it seems there isn't a way to contact Adobe with specific queries.  Anyone got thoughts on what the problem is bearing in mind the hard drive has been replaced so has not had photoshop on it before?

When I press the Photoshop icon, this gets opened and it is stuck on this.

Installed a new printer/scanner Canon TR4660 and tried to scan with Adobe XI Pro. However I received an error message (dialog box) saying that Adobe couldn't communicate with the scanner - Error code: 156.The scanner was turned on and I checked that the cable was connected properly. The PC uses Windows 10 however the scanner is supposedly compatible with that version. Is the problem with Windows 10 or could it be my version of Adobe XI Pro (11.0.23)? Is there a simple way to fix this?

I purchased Photoshop 2026 from Staples and was given a 24 alphabet redemption code. How do I activate this on Adobe. 

Hi - I hope someone here can help, because this is doing my head in.CS6 worked fine on my old laptop. However, I have now bought a new one and transferred the licence by deactivating it on my old laptop and activating it on the new one. All was well for a few days - until I then tried to open up PhotoShop, when I got the "already in use by maximum allowed number of computers" again. So I fired up my old laptop - and got exactly the same message!So I can now no longer open up my programs on either computer. Would really appreciate some help. 🙂

I have Photoshop 2019 on my laptop. I realize there is no way to download a version from Adobe to my main computer. So, I'm wondering how I can move Photoshop 2019 from my laptop to my main computer. My main computer is silicon-based. And I know I will have to download Rosetta 2 to use it.  How can I move it and know which additional files (if any) I should move along with it? I do have a Creative Cloud account if that matters.  Thanks, Jeff

Od 2018 r. używam Adobe Premier Elements i Adobe Photoshop Elements. Kilka dni temu musiałem wymienić dysk w laptopie i ponownie zainstalować te programy. Niestety utraciłem klucz do Adobe Photo Elements, do Premier mam. Nie mam klucza w mailu ponieważ zakup był w 2018 r. i tak starych wiadomości nie mam na poczcie. Jak odzyskać ten klucz?

How do i speak to an Adobe person in Australia

When installing it says that my serial number is already in use by the maximum number of  computers and that I need to deactivate the other computer within 30 days to use this product.  However, when logging into my account it says ou can install Adobe applications on more than one computer, activate them (sign in) on two, but use them on only one computer at a time.  BUT,  I have no devices registered. Please help. I have signed out of all sessions on my old computer. Help please as I only have 30 days to resolve it and have had no success in actually speaking anyone from adobe,  Thanks

After trying to free up storage space on my MacBook, I can no longer open various Adobe apps. How can I reinstall them - preferably to the attached HDD please?

I have a new computer Windows 11 but I'm unable to run Adobe CS3

I'm a photography enthusiast rather than a professional and have been using/learning Lightroom Classic (LrC) for several years as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) subscription. Like many others, I don't really like the subscription model but have got used to LrC and quite like it for my purposes. I mainly use the cropping, tonal adjustments, masking, keywording, noise reduction, transform, removal/cloning, exporting and photo organising features within LrC. I hardly use any of the other CC subscription software apart from minor use of Photoshop. I store my photos on an external drive rather than the cloud (& back them up on 2 other hard drives). I do use Collections & the Adobe "cloud" to share some photos from LrC on my other devices, and also created a small website using the LrC functionality.I have about 40k photos in my LrC catalogue which are a mix of RAW files from my Olympus OM1.1 and my old Sony A77, plus a bunch of jpegs.However.......yesterday I tried to run the

When i try to use lightoom is says my subscription has expired. It has not as i was billed and when i go to 'buy' it, it says i already have lightroom. I have already logged out and in again.  Any help please?

Hi,First of all I'd like to thank people at Adobe for setting up the new sign in process for old Production Premium CS6. The suite still worked like a charm when I upgraded from W10 to W11 ( once you set up properties compatibility to Windows8 for each app). My problem was I add to get a new computer.So I deactivated on the old one before installing on the new one.Once installed on the new laptop, I couldn't activate the old way: when signing to my account nothing happened,  my serial number didn't appear no more on my account, it was confusing. Had another problem during my new computer install, I had to reinit to factory and install again CS6.  I began to use Photoshop immediately (needed for work) without connecting to account, I wanted to find the right solution.
