As the title suggests, I'm curious to know if Privileged Locations configured via the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC supports environment variables. For example, will it work correctly/as expected if one uses pathing such as, but not limited to:%AppData%\Some\LocationC:\Users\%UserName%\Some\Location%UserProfile%\SomeOther\LocationMany thanks in advance.
Dear Adobe Team,We use Adobe products in an environment with SAML-based Single Sign-On. Currently, users must manually enter their email address on the sign-in page before the SSO p
Is there any options nowadays for device based? Where it's just activated? We have a machine that multiple people use the same account, because its a scientific machine at our university that multiple people have to check the progress over 2-4 days. If you sign into your own user, it won't work, because the software would be open under someone else's account, so that's why we used a shared login. The software requires Acrobat, and I'm not sure what to do, I'm in IT but our main OIT handles the licensing, and they said there is no options, but it doesn't solve my problem, and I can't do anything about it. I know 7 years ago, there were options, but wasn't sure, someone said no, but it would seem odd not to have something.
Hi.I am receiving many emails about a user requesting access to InDesign, eventhough I already assigned a license to him.How can I make it stop???
Urgent Assistance Needed – Adobe Portfolio RetrievalHello,My Adobe account was accidentally closed, and while my university has reinstated my license, it restarted as a completely new account under the same email address. Because of this, my Adobe Portfolio—with over two years of critical work—is no longer accessible. I believe the information should still be stored in the cloud, but it has not been restored even after the license was reactivated. When I attempt to sign in to the retrieval website, it only redirects me back to the new account, which shows none of my previous Portfolio files. It seems the original data was not migrated when my account was reinstated.I urgently need access to my original Portfolio so I can recover and migrate that information. Without this step, I cannot properly transition from my EDU account to my personal account. Right now, it is functioning as if I have a brand-new account with none of my prior work. This Portfolio is essential, and I need immediate a
Hello,We have a company licence, with same Adobe products subscribed, with several users, most of them using the cloud storage.Last month we changed the supplier and VIP ID, creating a new account, but mantaining all the users (but we needed to create them again). In this process the users on the new account are not able to access to the documents that they had previoulsy on the Adobe Could. How the give the access, once that they are the same users, using the same Adobe tools?Thank you very much in advance.

Will users without admin rights getting Adobe Creative Cloud in Microsoft Store app (new) be able to auto-aupdate apps?
Hi, I ahve tried to add new users but am getting this error when I click on save. If someone can advise what I need to do. You must enable editing to add, remove, or edit users managed by a synced directory. To enable editing on a synced directory, go to Sync > Enable editing and perform the desired action. Note that any changes made manually to users of a synced directory will be overwritten upon the next sync cycle if not aligned with the information being passed from the directory. ThanksLouise
Hello! We are getting multiple pops up from the Creative Cloud app indicating the same computer is active in the Device Limitation screen. Its not a big deal, for now. All we have to do is just sign out of one and Adobe still works as expected. Just thought we'd let you know this is happening in case it becomes a bigger issue. Let us know if you need any other info.
Hi Team,I have a question about font licencing on the Adobe for Enterprise plan. The answer isn't explicit in the terms document. Are Adobe fonts licenced for use in the creation of documents in third party applications? Eg, can an adobe font be used in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, or Davinci Resolve, for example? Or must they only be used within the Adobe suite of applications? (Obvsiouly, not looking to embed or redistribute fonts--only use them in the creating of documents and media.)Thanks!
Hey guys, I bought the Adobe for Enterprise 2 weeks ago for a college class, and I got a yearly subscription through my college bookstore. The thing is, when I downloaded Adobe Creative to my computer, for some reason it tells me that I only have a 7 day free trial, but I paid for the whole thing. I want to call them to sort this out, but I wanted to know if I did something wrong in the process.
Hi everyone, For the last couple of days I've been trying to install creative cloud, however it simply won't work. I need to install the app to be able to switch between my two Adobe IDs (one personal, and the other from my organdization). I go to the download page (both the main and the one I discovered to be an alternate) click install, go to my Chrome downloads, and open the installer. I then enter my password, skip the two personal questions, and it starts downloading. It starts at zero then jumps to about 4%, after this it jumps all the way to 100%, right before the installer quits it tells me that the CC app will automatilcally open. It did not, I searched in all of my files, and nothing. If anyone has a solution, has had the same experience, or knows someone who has an answer it would be greatly appreciated.
We transitioned from the User Sync Tool to Azure Sync about a year ago, and during an audit realized the Azure Sync wasn't removing users from Product profiles because it didn't put them there (as part of the group). Group from Azure works great. It's auto-assigned to the Product Profile and that works great. But, it won't touch users that "it didn't put there" as part of the group. Far as it's concerned, we manually added them to the profile. How do you basically say "I don't want anyone else in this product BUT the Azure Group"? Just delete everyone from the product? Will it actually add them back via the sync'd group? I'm having a hard time finding this documented anywhere... Right now we have hundreds of users "over provisioned" because of this...
Hi This morning, while opening AE, I received a message that all available (2) licenses are occupied. What is weird is that one of the licenses is my own PC where CC is currently running. When I signed out from the license running on my PC, AE closed. I opened AE again, and the same popup appeared. I signed out again, and this time AE remained running. Why?

Hello Adobe Community, I am Esat Emre Sivri, founder of thelucidlab. For 5 years, I’ve trusted Adobe Creative Cloud to store my brand’s entire design archive. Unfortunately, I am now facing the loss of 165 GB of Creative Cloud files with no resolution for 20 days. How It Started On August 11, 2025, my original subscription (Invoice No: 7207601493 / Product 65206874) faced a payment issue. The first Adobe agent told me the plan would be replaced with a new contract number, but assured me that “all your files will be visible again the next morning.”Both contracts were tied to the same email: ees@thelucidlab.com.Trusting this information, I proceeded with the new plan. What Happened Next From August 11, I opened multiple cases: ADB-41156050-P8K4ADB-41156439-K7B0ADB-41156455-N3C7 On August 13, Adobe agents confirmed my account had 164+ GB of files, but I could not access them.On August 26, another
Add support for an identity provider initiated single sign-on request. Use story: As a user, I navigate to myapps.microsoft.com. I click on the Adobe Creative Cloud shortcut which my administrator has configured as an idP using SAML. The shortcut initiates the the single sign-on request to Adobe and subsequently redirects me to the Adobe.com website as a logged in user.
Would you please add a feature in Creative Cloud Desktop app to bring more control to admins by Extracting User Wise report with Last Access\Sign in to License.
Good morning. I'm sending this question to you just for confirmation, because it seems that Adobe's documentation and guides indicate this, in my opinion. Below is the question: I want to purchase the latest version of Adobe Acrobat for my organization, but I don't want to purchase licenses for all users. Since I understand there are no floating licenses, I want to assign licenses to certain users and monitor whether they are actually using it, then unassign them and provide the license and product to other users who require it. Is this possible?Do I understand it could be done using the admin console? What monitoring information could I obtain? Weekly usage, hourly usage, last access to the product by the user? Furthermore, I understand that a Designated User License is the most appropriate license type? Thank you very much!Bert regards
I am trying to transfer my Adobe portfolio from my disconnected university account to my personal Adobe account. The link currently takes me to a page not found error.
We're gradually phasing out Adobe & switching to a competitor due to Adobe's shady billing & account practices, as well as the utter difficulty of doing license management in their increasing useless Admin Console.
We have a single user that is having issues using Adobe Pro DC. He may be able to work for a while but eventually gets a message that says We can't verify your subscription status. We can't reach the Adobe servers We were able to temporarily get the user working again by removing all adobe credentials within Windows Credential Manager, but within 30 minutes the issue returned. We have tried using the Adobe CC Removal Tool to wipe the computer clean of Adobe and reinstall, but still no luck. The user's computer is a wired desktop and has no unusual network settings that would set it apart from anything else on our network. This is the only computer in the company behaving like this. This issue started approximately 1 week ago.
