Build better products with our product team
I use Stager to mockup products. Sometimes I need to emphasize product features by moving pieces around to expose internal workings and zoom in. I make separate layers for this as well as creating new cameras for the different angles. Rather than manually hiding and showing layers, it would be awesome if I could link layer visibility to each camera. So when I enable camera 1, layers 1-3 are visible and all others are off. Camera 2 enables visibility to layers 4-7 and hides 1-3.
When dragging the ends of an already trimmed clip, we should see a ghost, low intrusive overlay that shows where the true end or start of the clip is. Like in the snapshot, I thought PP was doing this with that little dark grey bar to the left of the nested clip, (“oh wow a feature I didn’t know about!”) until I realized that wasn’t the start of the clip- the start of the clip is where it’s shown. PP must have been glitching with that grey bar.
I am writing to express my concerns regarding the performance and usability of Adobe products, which often do not seem to align with the features and capabilities your company advertises. As a dedicated user of your software, I feel it is essential to provide feedback to help improve the experience for your loyal customer base. First, I have encountered consistent performance issues across several applications, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. These tools often lag or freeze, even on systems that meet or exceed your recommended specifications. Crashes occur more frequently than expected, leading to lost progress and disrupted workflows. These stability problems undermine the reliability that Adobe promotes as one of its core strengths. The subscription model also raises concerns. While it is presented as a cost-effective solution, it is often expensive in the long term, particularly when updates do not address persistent bugs or add meaningful value. Furthermore, losing access to the software and project files upon subscription lapses creates unnecessary user challenges, contradicting the seamless usability promised in your advertising.Compatibility issues also persist. Updates frequently introduce new bugs or cause conflicts with other software and plugins, making workflows unnecessarily complex. Although your products are advertised as cross-platform solutions, there are noticeable discrepancies in functionality and performance between the Windows and macOS versions, which hampers productivity. I have also found that the user interfaces of many Adobe applications are not as intuitive as advertised. Features are often buried within menus, and the learning curve can be steep, especially for new users. While I appreciate the robust capabilities of your software, more explicit guidance, and more accessible resources would significantly enhance the overall user experience. Customer support is another area where there is room for significant improvement. Delays in receiving assistance and unresolved issues have been frustrating. Many users, including myself, feel that our feedback is not acted upon promptly, leaving long-standing concerns unaddressed. Lastly, while innovative in concept, the Creative Cloud ecosystem has its own challenges. File synchronization is often unreliable, which can disrupt collaboration. Additionally, the advertised " ample storage " is insufficient for handling more significant projects, forcing users to pay for costly upgrades.I believe Adobe has the potential to provide the exceptional experience it advertises, but these recurring issues need to be addressed to bridge the gap between user expectations and reality. I hope you will consider this feedback seriously and take steps to improve your products' performance, usability, and overall customer experience. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to seeing how Adobe addresses these concerns in the future.
Hello Adobe Firefly Team,I’m writing to report an issue with the image generation output format on Firefly (https://firefly.adobe.com/generate/image).Until recently, when using models such as Nano Banana Pro and the regular Firefly image generator, the output images were provided in PNG format, which preserved full quality without compression artifacts. However, starting today, all generated images are delivered only in JPEG format, which applies lossy compression and results in noticeably lower image quality. I’ve attempted to specify PNG output directly in the prompt text, but this does not affect the format — the system still returns JPEGs.Could you please advise whether there is a way to force PNG output for generated images? If this is a temporary change or a bug, I would appreciate any insight on when the PNG option will be restored. If there is a specific parameter or setting I can use, please let me know.Thank you for your help!
I would like to propose the creation of a new subscription plan called "Creative Cloud Mobile." This plan would be tailored for the growing number of users who rely on mobile-first desktop environments, specifically Android Chromebook owners or Android phone users who connect their devices to an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse (e.g., Google Pixel Desktop Experience, Samsung DeX). Included Access: Exclusive access to all Adobe Android applications and Adobe Web applications (e.g. Photoshop for the Web) Proposed Pricing: 50% of the cost of the "Creative Cloud Pro" plan. Rationale: Because this tier excludes the full, heavy-duty desktop suite (Windows/macOS), the reduced price point accurately reflects the scaled-down software list. This plan would be a perfect, cost-effective solution to better serve creators who rely entirely on mobile and web-based workflows.
As a stock contributor (Getty Images, Adobe Stock), accurate metadata is essential. After shooting industrial subjects (e.g., trawlers, machinery, harbor equipment), I currently use Google Lens to identify specific objects. I then manually enter this information in File > File Info (IPTC metadata) in Photoshop. When I submit the image to Getty Images, this metadata becomes visible during review. However, I still need to manually research and add relevant keywords to optimize search visibility.I propose integrating AI-based object recognition in Photoshop that can:Identify objects and technical components Suggest accurate object names Generate title and description suggestions Provide smart keyword suggestions (including related search terms) Automatically populate IPTC metadata fieldsThis would significantly streamline the professional stock workflow and improve contributor efficiency.
As you add a assisted culling feature in Lightroom and lightroom classic, I think it will also very useful in bridge. Where we can see our photos focused and other thing.
When creating a Smart Album, the only boolean operator when using different search rules is AND. Other options typically available for computer searches are OR and NOT. This is what I would like from a smart album in LrD:People = John DoeORKeyword = John Doe However, this is the only option available now:People = John DoeANDKeyword = John Doe Attached is a screenshot showing AND being the only way to create a Smart Album when there is more than one rule.
It’d be great to be able to rename a track and have the name be visible even when the track is minimized down to its shortest level. A final picture lock sequence might have 20 video tracks and 40 audio tracks. It can be wonderful to name an audio track “SFX1’, “SFX2”, etc. However, currently, to be able to see the track name, I have to heighten the track four steps. With 40 audio tracks, it can be really easy to miss something that’s on track 39 when I’m looking at track 12.It’d be nice to be able to call video tracks “GFX”, “VFX”, “L3”, “Subtitles”, etc. and not have to heighten four steps.
Hello, in a previous update, you added the ability to toggle the active Lumetri Color Effect instance at the top of the Lumteri Color panel. This is incredibly helpful when using multiple instances of the Lumetri Color effect. However, manually toggling between Lumetri effect instances with the mouse is extremely slow! I would like to request new keyboard shortcuts for "Select Next Lumetri Effect" and "Select Previous Lumetri Effect” that would toggle the active effect. This would be a huge time saver for editors and colorists—especially those working with hardware control surfaces and panels.
Add New Adjustment Layer Shadow and Hightlight Adjustment Layer Feature in Photoshop
Context: A lot of times on documentaries and films lots of cameras will start/stop, meaning multiple clips will sync to one audio file. When you add multiple cameras into the mix, it can get a bit crazy. Usually not a big problem if you have timecode lock on the cameras, but often there are cases where you have to sync via another method such as waveform. This isn’t always great because not all cameras run native scratch audio and even when they do, sometimes the waveforms are too generic to where Premiere tries to sync things that don’t actually go together.Problem: When Timecode Sync and Waveform Sync fail, you’re left with having to find a “sync point” and manually sync each clip.Solution: It’d be great if in addition to Waveform audio and Timecode sync, Premiere could use the transcribe and visual analysis AI tools it has built in to sync clips. It would also be nice to create “sync map” sequences that could easily convert into multicam sequences when sync is finished.
I’d love a “Favorites” category in Lumetri. You could add features (like the color wheels or Saturation) to it, then interface with just your favorite controls down there.I feel like I spend half my time color correcting switching between the tabs. I set the black/white points in Curves, refine values in Basic, go to Creative just to turn up Vibrance, then mess with the color wheels. These are basically all I ever use. I have a “favorites” folder for Effects, and love not digging or searching. Can we do the same within Lumetri?
As is possible in AE, it would be a very nice addition to be able to temporarily change the program monitors background to a desired color instead of black. I know, I know, “create a matte and underlay it..” Yes, but: AE can do it too and it makes a lot of sense as a safety feature against having accidental tiny black margins, which can easily happen if you work with letterboxed footage, or the transform effect (does not show clip frame-outlines, as changing scale in “Motion” does). Best, L
When choosing VARY in Firefly Boards it would be nice to have the option to choose the number of variations generated. At the moment, the 4x4 grid of 16 is way too many and a waste of credits.
Currently, when selecting an image in Firefly, there is a “Variations” option that generates new versions through an automatic grid, using exclusively the native Firefly model. The proposal is to introduce the ability to choose which model is used for generating those variations. In other words, in addition to the Firefly model, users should be able to select external partner models (such as Runway, Nano banana or ChatGPT...) to generate variations from the same base image. This would allow: Greater creative flexibility Different aesthetic and technical interpretations from the same image The ability to leverage the specific strengths of each model Positioning Firefly as an open, multi-model generation hub The goal is not to replace the Firefly model, but to expand the current functionality so that the variation system is not limited to a single generation engine, giving users the freedom to decide which model to use in each case.Thank you, Lourdes MolinaiaPulse
Using PS Ipad Pro: i would like to request a feature like that of Procreate where you can EASILY save sets of swatches, favorite brushes, clear layer gesture, alpha lock.
Premiere works best for me when Media Cache files and management go to my external. Yet, if I open up a project with a different preference, it moves it my internal HD without warning. There is a major drop-off in speed and always takes a while to figure out. I propose locking the media cache to a location and if the software wants to switch or can’t find your current location, it needs to prompt the user to alert them to the switching of the location. Would save me a lot of pain.
When using the “Export Frame” button, the PNG format option let’s me choose a Depth setting, but unlike the Path and Format settings, for example, this one does not remember what I picked and always defaults to 8bit on every new frame export.
