Drag a preset to an empty space on the timeline creates an adjustment layer.Open for Voting

I have a suggestion that I believe would be a great improvement to quality of life!   Imagine a scenario where you have several effects and presets that you use frequently, but generally, you use them in Adjustment Layers. In the current moment, we must create an adjustment layer, drag it to the timeline above the desired layers, then drag the effect or preset from the effects panel to the adjustment layer. It's a process that works, but takes many steps.   Now imagine a much smarter scenario: Instead of doing all the initial work, you would simply drag an effect or a preset to the timeline! If the cursor is above a location that already has an element (such as an A-roll, B-roll, Image, text, or anything), the effect I'm dragging will be applied to that element, as already happens currently, BUT, if I drag it to an empty space on the timeline, an adjustment layer will be created automatically with that effect applied! It would be extremely simpler and more practical for repetitive workflows!

Hey Adobe people.Please make the Media Intelligence Analysis scan run AFTER the creation of the audio PKF files, and do it one by one.When I load huge projects from an external drive to create a project, sync video, and program proxy generation, Media Intelligence Analysis can effectively clog up the external USB drive by analyzing 4-5 files at once, while also creating the PKF files. What should take a few minutes, takes hours, unless I manually cancel it and allow only the PKF files to be generated.

Hotkey for showing keyframes Effects ControlsOpen for Voting

26 beta. I couldn't find a hotkey in the settings to show/hide the timeline for keyframes. My small MacBook monitor is very limited in space, and I would like to be able to quickly press an available key to hide this window and continue working after editing keyframes.Please add this to the list of available hotkeys. While this is not critical for most users, it complicates the process for the minority who work on small monitors, and it will save us. In any case, it won't hurt anyone, but we will have the option to choose. Thanks!   [title edited by mod for clarity]

Lasso Tool and Quick Selection ToolUnder Review

Hello, it would be great if my two suggested improvements to Substance Painter could be added. They would be very useful for my texture creations. These are two tools that exist in Adobe Photoshop: the lasso (all versions) and quick selection (all versions depending on what you want to do) . Thank you in advance if this is done ^^

Add the “Variance” Color Harmonization Tool to Premiere ProOpen for Voting

I would like to request the addition of the Variance color tool (currently available in Adobe Camera Raw) to Adobe Premiere Pro. This feature is extremely useful for color harmonization because it can reduce or increase color differences within the same color family.The Variance tool would benefit Premiere Pro users in several important ways: 1. Face Color Tone Balancing -Videos often contain uneven or mixed skin tones due to different lighting conditions. Variance automatically finds the median shade between multiple tones and creates a uniform, natural look. This would save a lot of time compared to manual color correction. 2. Green Screen / Chroma Key Improvement -Green screens usually have multiple shades of green due to shadows, wrinkles, or uneven lighting. With Variance, we could easily balance and unify all green tones into a single consistent shade.This would make keying much cleaner and more accurate, because the background color would remain uniform across the entire frame. 3. General Color Consistency -Variance could help smooth out color variations in clothing, backgrounds, product shots, and any footage with mixed color patches — improving the overall quality of video color correction inside Premiere Pro.Integrating the Variance feature into Premiere Pro would bring powerful color-harmonization capabilities directly into the video workflow and reduce reliance on separate tools.

audio crossfades are harder to select than they used to beOpen for Voting

Premiere 25.62. This is somewhere between a bug and a feature request. I often create an audio crossfade on one edit of one channel of audio using a shortcut, then adjust it to the size I want, copy it, and then paste it to a bunch of other channels and edit points (by "trim selecting" them all with command click drag).  But - the actual selecting of the crossfade fails much more than it used to. Often, I THINK that I've selected and copied a crossfade, but when I hit paste it pastes a clip that was on the clipboard. The main culprit is the "new" crossfade extension handles, which get in the way of actually clicking on the crossfade, especially if it's a small one (I often use crossfade durations unden 12 frames). In addition, you would expect that if you drag out a crossfade using the extender handles, its end state would be "selected" and you could simply hit copy after sizing it. But extending and selecting appear to be distinct and separate actions. This adds up to a lot of tiny slowdowns and frustration over the course of a day. And it's been true ever since the crossfade extending mechanic was changed in some version of 25. My request: can selecting a crossfade be made easier? Thank you.

Slip Tool that's easier to useOpen for Voting

It would be SO helpful to have a Slip Tool that, rather than being something you have to do with the mouse and have great difficulty being very precise about, instead showed up in a modified Trim Window and let do a Slip with the same tools and same precision and control that we can do trims in the Trim Window.

Editable built-in gridOpen for Voting

It would be very helpful if i could edit the built-in grid starting point in the same way I can edit ruler´s starting point.Sometimes when I am in the middle of the work already and need to set the grid in the back as guides, but I would need to snap the grid to my design and not my design to the grid.This little feature would be quite helpful I guess. Faster than using a grid tool too.Cheers. Lukas

Add Post Effects, Color Profiles, Tone Mapping and Iray as an alternative engine to render withOpen for Voting

as the title says.Post Effects, Color Profiles, Tone Mapping are a necessity. any 3D render program have them by default. not just limited to these. but Stager should have many more settings and ability to tweak post processing in real time.another HUGE bonus would be having the Iray render engine as an alternative engine to able to render with. Its magnificisent. and I and assume many others, if they texture in substance, they check them in subs iray renderer first and then go the stager or whatever else for final rendering. so it would fill the gap of materials and the general look looking 1 to 1.

Dekstop to mobileOpen for Voting

Please, please, please, please, please can we get this? The capability was there, with Rush, and the mobile to desktop workflow exists, so I'm hopeful this will be rolled out at some point. I understand the desktop version has a million more features that wouldn't work on mobile, but for even just basic cuts and edits this would be INCREDIBLE. As someone who works with a lot of creators, it's not always possible to capture the essence of what they want to portray in their content. It requires their personal touch a lot of the time. Having a truly cross-device, collaborative system where I can hand over a mostly complete project to clients for them to tinker with before completing for them, would be a GAME CHANGER. Not all of my clients have access to or have the knowledge to use Premiere Desktop so the ability to do this on mobile/tablet and send back to me would be great.

Coming from Blender it's inconvenient to select nodes in Substance Designer .   Please  do lasso selection.      Also I would love Blender style ctrl+right drag  erase connection line   and shift + right drag  inserts a dot node  even when crossing several lines at ones

Keep guide positions centered when changing composition resolutionOpen for Voting

Hi!When changing the resolution of a composition I would like my guides to retain their positions relative to the center of the composition. Not top left corner. Qute often I have to adjust the height or width of my composition (for varying reasons...) and this throws my centerline guides off allthe time. Quite frustrating.

P: Configure Camera Raw so that [Enter] doesn't Open in PS.Open for Voting

Disable the "Open in Photoshop" button in Camera Raw   I'm working in Camera Raw and sometimes I accidentally press the Enter key (sometimes by me, sometimes by the Cat) and Photoshop opens. I've been looking for a way to configure Camera Raw so that the "Open" button doesn't appear and the Enter key doesn't work either. This has been happening for a while. This function should exist for those of us who work only with Camera Raw and then separately with Photoshop from Bridge or Explorer. Please, if anyone has a solution, or if Adobe should enable this feature, as I've seen it online and discussed it with colleagues, it's a real problem.  Kind Regards... Desactivar boton: Open in photoshop en camera raw Estoy trabajando en Camera Raw y a veces presiono accidentalmente el botón Enter (a veces yo y a veces el Gato) y se abre Photoshop. Busque la menera de configurar camera raw para que directamente el boton abrir no aparesca ni tampoco funcione la tecla enter. Es algo que sucede desde siempre. Deberia existir esa funcion para los que trabajamos solo camera raw y luego photoshop individualmente desde bridge o explorer.Por favor, si alguien tiene una solucion o bien, por favor Adobe habiliten esta necesidad que segun vi en internet y conversado con colegas es un problema. Lightroom does not allow me to export in CMYK for printing... I think this is a no brainer, would love to here about why this is a feature only available on photoshop, most photographers who want to print will be concerned by this...   I no longer have photoshop in my plan, nowadays plan is more expensive and includes less...   Quite dissapointed with adobe here.   Example here of photo printed in RVB creates a terrible version compared to photo on screen... I'm learning but this is frustrating that I need photoshop just for this...

Feature Request: Scripting access to Convert to Point Text/Box TextOpen for Voting

There is no scripting ability to convert Text Layer from Box Text (aka Paragraph Text) to Point Text, or vice versa.Command IDs for "Convert to Point Text" and "Convert to Paragraph Text" both report "3064".Running app.executeCommand(3064) does nothing.This would be very helpful to have in scripting API. Either as working Commmand ID or new methods.   Something like: TextDocument.convertToPointText() TextDocument.convertToBoxText()

Layer stack Performance profilingUnder Review

Are there any ways to profile the computational intensity of layers inside of a substance painter file and if not i guess id have this as a feature request.Ive run into the issue that when setting up workflows that go beyond the fill layer and a tiling noise that its hard to know how well its really performing and where sometimes the laggyness while painting comes fromSubstance designer has a way to see the calculation time of individual nodes so it would be great to have an equivalent inside of that inside of painter with callouts . exposure to the python api would be a plus.

Render to ME - folder structureOpen for Voting

I have a plethora of animations already in folders in my Project bin, and what would be great is to be able to select the folders and render them out to same. For example:So you can see how many files are in play. So the idea is to select FINAL COMPS and send that to ME, and ME renders them all out to same folder structure. Is that doable?

Feature Request: Premiere can recognize burned in time codesOpen for Voting

I work with a lot of police body cam and/or surveillance camera footage. I often have multiple cams from multiple angles and I'll build a multicam sequence to edit with. Most of those clips have time codes burned into the video. It would be amazing if Premiere could recognize the burned in code and either set the clips to match that time code, or let me create a multicam sequence using burned in time codes.

Generative AI Credits - Balance and Usage info in PhotoshopOpen for Voting

Everyone is confused about Generative AI Credits. Reading the pages and pages of info is like reading the software license agreement when installing software. Here is my suggestion:- Have the Credit Balance and renewal date displayed within Photoshop. I guess that might have to apply to Lightroom and Camera Raw since credits can be consumed there.- When you pull up a command window, beside the "Generate" button or "OK" button or whatever, there should be a number displayed that indicates how many credits will be used. Or maybe one of those "Question Mark in a Circle" info thingies that, when you click it, pops up a window showing how many credits will be used and your current balance. This would allow me, and others, to develop a sense of how many credits are used for various functions, and to monitor their credit use to better manage their credit resources. Thanks,Ray

Feature Request: Apply Text Animator Presets to Multiple Graphic ClipsOpen for Voting

Hi! When applying a saved Text Animator preset to captions converted to Graphics, it would be extremely helpful to be able to apply the preset to multiple graphic clips at once, instead of dragging it onto each one individually (if this is already a thing PLEASE tell me how to do it lol).I always use it at the beginning of each clip so it would also be great if importing a preset triggered a small pop-up asking which anchor point to use (beginning, middle, or end) when applying it to multiple clips at once.This would save a lot of time when working with large batches of subtitles.Thanks!

Allow use of anchor points in Color SelectionUnder Review

Right now Color selection allows only images to be set as id map input, but not the anchor points. But sometimes Id maps needs to be dynamically edited before use. And all nodes in Substance Painter allow it, except the most important one for Id map.
