It’d be amazing if After Effects could save my workspaces to my Adobe account. I’ve spent years perfecting my panel layout and custom script UIs and every time I change computers or reinstall AE, I have to rebuild everything from scratch. Ideally, my workspace would live in my Creative Cloud profile, so when I log in on a new machine, everything’s back exactly how I left it. Panels, extensions, scripts, all in place. Bonus idea: if AE detects that a panel or script UI used in my workspace isn’t installed yet, it could just notify me instead of leaving an empty space. That’d save a ton of time and confusion. In short:Save/sync workspaces in the cloudRestore automatically when signing inAlert me if a panel or script is missing This would make switching machines or reinstalling After Effects so much smoother like how keyboard shortcuts or prefs used to sync.
I wrote an expression that gets After Effects on its knees directly after opening or importing the project. It would be great when Safe Mode had an option to disable expressions, so the user can correct or remove the culprits.
Please provide a more professional EDL tool. For a docuseries I'm working on, I had to export an EDL to our archival producer of all the archival used in one of our episodes. I had to export six EDLs since I was only able to simplify the sequence to four tracks of video and six of audio. The EDL tool in Premiere (24.6.8 Build 3) can only export one video track and four audio tracks at a time, and CMX 3600 is limited to 999 events (I didn't want to send an incomplete EDL and have the arc producer report an inaccurate cost estimate for the episode). My arc producer requested one unified EDL so I had to use en.editingtools.io and their EDL Converter to merge the EDLs into one EDL. We tried things like exporting an FCP XML or an AAF and bringing them into Resolve, but some of the Source TC ended up as much as 40 seconds off.
The default setting shouldn't be that all the source clips are automatically removed after making multi-cam clips. I have now learned that there is a setting to avoid having this happen, and that should be the default. Often, there are mistakes when using the automation process to make multi-clips, but for some reason undo doesn't get you back to the state before the multi-clips were made so you have to reimport all those files again as far as I can tell. This could be a disaster for someone who is not perfectly organized.
Before the new remove "Reflections, People, and Dust" became part of the "Remove" tool, I was able to create a preset based simply on the "Remove" tool alone to remove things like camera sensor dust. Now I don't have that option and the remove "Dust" doesn't find all of the sensor dust. Any ideas until I can get my sensor cleaned? Any chance of making only the "Remove" tool a preset option again?
It would be very helpful to have all of the stroke options available, like rounding the edges on stroke corners and end caps and stroke alignment, etc. I know this is likely just a feature that hasn't been implemented in Beta yet, but it's sorely misssed in my personal & professional use of Illustrator. Thanks.
Sharpening is a “Must Have” for image editing.
In the latest update (25.2), audio waveforms now respond to the db level. This includes when the clip is muted in the Essential Sound panel. I would like to offer the opinion that the waveform disappearing when muted is not helpful. I love that the waveforms respond to changes in volume, but I think when a clip is muted, there is a better way of denoting that, other than taking away the waveform. I often use a muted clip's waveform when muting and unmuting multiple mics. I would appreciate this at least being a setting I can turn off, as the waveform disappearing is significantly slowing down my workflow on videos with multiple people (and thus multiple mics). I know I should have rung in on this during beta, but I didn't have time to really mess around in the beta this time.
For enterprise accounts, report to see what web projects the employee is supporting and using Adobe Fonts. When user departs from a company currently there is no way to review what web projects are created under their federated account and what fonts are associated with web project to ensure continued deliverable.
We create custom shortcuts, brushes, and workspaces in Photoshop; we install plugins or set up LUTs in After Effects or Premiere, but none of these personalizations can be saved to the Cloud. The fact that they aren't saved is one problem, but the occasional updates completely resetting them is a problem of a totally different magnitude. When we sign in on a new device, being prompted for the automatic synchronization of our settings, workspaces, or plugins is not a luxury—it is a fundamental necessity that has been needed for a long time.I hope that for 2026, this development becomes the highest priority item on your roadmap, finally putting an end to this irony
Right now in After Effects, if you select a bunch of comps in the render queue and try to change their output path, only the first one updates and the rest keep their previous paths. It’d make way more sense if selecting multiple items in the render queue and setting a new output path applied to all of them. My current workaround is clunky: I set a path for the first comp, then go back to the project panel, select the rest, and add them again so they inherit the new path. But that shouldn’t be necessary. This would save a ton of time when batch rendering. Especially for people exporting dozens of comps at once.
When I generate a subtitle track in Premiere, I have the option at export to either burn them into the mp4 or create a sidecar file.In order to get those subtitles embedded into the video so that they can be enabled or disabled per the viewer's preference in their video player (and without expecting them to keep the srt file along with the video file), I need to use a third party program to marry the video and srt file (I usually use Handbrake).I would like to submit for the development team at Adobe, that this feature should be built into Premiere Pro to improve the workflow and avoid having to use additional software to render the file a second time.
Hi y'all Maybe I am missing something… Actually it seems independant, but It would be nice to get the task bar position saved in the workspace parameters. best Didier
In previous versions of Premiere, when shortening the duration of an audio transition, you could quickly click and drag to make it as short as possible. I did this all the time with Constant Power fades. Typically it was when I wanted to splice 2 pieces of dialogue together - the fade needed to be short and clean, but still smooth. Now, in Premiere 2025, when you shorten a fade with the mouse, it disappears. This has been a major annoyance for myself and for my coworkers who edit similar types of videos. With the amount that we do this type of edit, having to slowly and "manually" change the duration of a fade has been a major time-waster and very tedious. If this could be changed back to the fade becoming its shortest possible duration (2 frames) instead of disappearing, my team would be very grateful. Note: I have already changed my default transition duration to the duration I use most. The 2 frame fade is used second most, but still a ton.
Feature Idea: Bring Adobe Express-Style Templates + Lightroom Integration to Premiere Pro Mobile Loving the direction of Premiere Pro on iOS so far, but I think there’s a huge opportunity to unlock the next level of mobile creation inside the Adobe mobile ecosystem. In my volunteer activities, I work with teens to develop social media to further a 501C3's mission. Though our sotware is available for use, the teens gravitate to Capcut when producing a video reel for Instagram. Right now, creators who want fast, polished, social-first video edits are flocking to CapCut because of its built-in templates, automated editing flows, and ease of use. Meanwhile, Adobe Express already has incredible templates, brand kits, fonts, motion graphics, and quick-edit tools — but they live in a different silo and don't fully address or compete with the automated editing flows that Capcut presents. The Express team might be targeting templates--but their video templates on Express need quite a lot of work. They're mostly static and have a few animated pre-sets for branded video-brochures that don't really keep up with the complexity that specialized apps like Capcut can provide on their templates, and if we're going to compete head to head with Capcut, we need Premiere to be the headline app. The Opportunity If Premiere Pro Mobile could tap into the same template engine and design system as Adobe Express, we’d get: - Instant social-ready video templates (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, Stories, YouTube, etc.)- Brand kits + saved styles that travel across Express → Premiere- Faster editing for creators, educators, coaches, marketers, and teams- A true competitor to CapCut — but powered by Adobe quality + pro tools Premiere would remain the pro tool — but with Express-style speed and polish layered on top. One More Gap: Lightroom Integration For creators who shoot both photo + video (a huge % of Adobe’s active users), the absence of Lightroom integration in Premiere Pro Mobile feels like a missed opportunity. Imagine: Your Lightroom albums (photos + video clips) accessible directly inside Premiere Mobile; they've already been cleaned up on mobile or desktop and are ready for preime-time in Premiere Mobile A pathway that encourages creators to store and edit media in Adobe, not on-device or in iCloud/Google. This could be a driver for Lightroom cloud storage adoption — especially for mobile-first creators. In short:Bring Express templates + brand assets into Premiere Pro Mobile, and connect Lightroom as the media hub. This would give creators a single, powerful, Adobe-native workflow that’s fast and professional — and keep them within the Adobe ecosystem instead of defaulting to CapCut. Would love to see this come to life — it would be a game-changer for so many of us creating daily content on the go.
You should make an AI image tracer. it would make it so much easeir for computer users.
So, I shot a wedding recently, and the bride is getting teeth whitening. I used people search to tag her in all the photos and create a collection. I'd love it if instead of person 1, person 2, etc. LR Classic was able to apply the edits to her specifically. She's in a different order in several pics, so it applies to other people who may not need it or they may, but then she's not edited. I think this would majorly improve workflow for many to be able to apply feature edits to a specific person in a folder / collection.
Hi Adobe, if you're listening I just want to add my request for the ability to either disable the zoom when you scroll your mouse wheel when hovering over the program monitor. I seem to spend almost as much time resetting to fit (to centralise) then to 100% as editing. Which in my humble opinion is poor UX. One idea may be to have the ability to allow the users to decide if they want to scrub through the timeline or zoom, or disable. I see a lot of people requesting the new feature rolled back to the scrub function. This idea could be a win, win, win.
