I do a lot of UX Motion work, and often times, need to do icon animations at a 1:1 for what engineers will output. I understand that AE is a tool that renders pixels, but it would be fantastic if there were a way to continuously rasterize vector assets within a comp. Sometimes, we’re working at 24px x 24px comps. So jumping from Figma to AE can be a pain. I understand the reasons behind “why” we cap out the zoom and why I see the aliasing, but without jumping to another tool like Rive, it would be fantastic for AE to just let me see as clean as I can.. even if its incredibly limited in its use case.Vectors only? Does it disable if I add a raster image? What happens if I add an effect? I’d imagine it would also need to disable as well. Would be great if it didn’t. TLDR: Rive and Figma have spoiled me on seeing vectors crisply in a viewport… and given the amount of UX work I do, it would be fantastic if AE could offer the ability to do the same, even if it weren’t available in every possible permutation of my workflow.
It would be great to add a feature where you select a clip/graphic/layer or circle around an area of your sequence and there’s a clean option to return to it’s previous structure. It’s like the older version tool except you don’t have to go scrolling or looking for it and it’s for a specific part of the sequence - not the whole thing. You just highlight or lasso an area of the sequence and pick a history version according to timelines that you want that bit to return to.
When deleting a layer which is being used for an essential property, the following warning is shown. However, there’s no way to do a reverse ‘Reveal in Timeline’ command to see where a layer might be connected to a comp’s EGP.It would be enormously helpful if this alert could list the comp(s) that would be affected by the layer deletion.
I run a lot of script panels in my standard workspace, and often get popup dialogs stating things like:‘Unable to execute script at line 828. Execution halted’or‘Script cannot run while a modal is waiting for a response’.It would be really helpful when trying to identify which script is throwing an error if the popup dialog box that contains the error put the script name into the header bar, which at the moment is blank.Currently, diagnosing which script is causing an error requires clearing the workspace then adding things in one at a time, which can become very time-consuming. This change would remove a lot of that time, which means we can spend it on animation instead :)Example visualSummary: When a script error occurs, please add the name of that specific script into the popup error dialog to aid identification.
We use premiere mostly for its ability to setup FAST Workflows for country and ratio adaptations incl custom MOGRTs. It seems the TEXT Parameters are not yet accessible as they were in the old CEP architecture.PLEASE make them available, its especially useful for enterprise customers working on productions with thousands of assets.
Hello Adobe team, I'm a dedicated Lightroom Mobile user with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has powerful hardware and Super HDR capabilities. Despite this, Lightroom Mobile's HDR viewing and editing features are only available on select Google Pixel devices, leaving out other high-performance devices like the S24 Ultra. Given the advanced capabilities of the S24 Ultra, there is no technical reason it should be excluded from full HDR support. Expanding this functionality to include more devices would enhance the experience for many users who have invested in top-tier smartphones. I hope Adobe considers updating Lightroom Mobile to enable HDR features across a broader range of supported devices. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
It would be absolutely fantastic for productivity if the AI assistant were integrated into Firefly Board and helped with prompting in real time while brainstorming ideas on the board.
I have two Mac Studios on which I use the Creative Suite—obviously, only on one machine at a time. On rare occasions, for academic reasons, I need to work on an old 2012 MacBook Pro that is no longer compatible with the current versions of Adobe. My use on the MacBook would be limited to Photoshop only. I was wondering if it’s possible to get just the standalone installer for this app in the old version compatible with the 2012 MacBook.
Currently by default photoshop do so with jpeg/gif/png etc. But cannot be done by default with AVIF files. I have torightclick then “Open With”, then click “Other...” and then select Adobe Photoshop. It would be nice to have direct association in “Open With”. As far as I know it is easily achievable with editing some “Info.plist” in the Photoshop pachage. Thanks!
I think there could be drawing music dancing programing and more
I’d like to request proper support for Smart Albums syncing to iPad within Adobe Lightroom. At the moment, Smart Albums (or Smart Collections) created on desktop do not carry across to mobile devices in a usable way. While I understand collections can be synced, the actual rules and automation behind Smart Albums are lost. This is a real limitation for workflows like mine.I manage a large, structured image archive (40,000+ images), using Smart Albums to organise content by:Location (e.g. streets and areas) Subject (buildings, features, etc.) Status (new, ready, published)During the working week, my primary device is an iPad, it’s what I use on the go to review, select, and prepare content. Desktop access is limited to evenings or weekends.Because Smart Albums don’t sync, I have to:Manually recreate album structures Copy images between albums Rely on workarounds instead of automationThis adds unnecessary time and increases the risk of inconsistencies. What would help:Smart Albums syncing fully to mobile (including rules) Ability to create/edit Smart Albums directly on iPad Consistent behaviour across desktop and mobile platformsLightroom is incredibly powerful, but this gap makes it harder to use as a true asset management system across devices.I’d be very interested to hear if others are experiencing the same issue.
How it is right now: If you want to zoom in on a timeline, you press Alt+Scroll. If you want to move timeline left/right to go over your project, you just Scroll. How I want it to be: Scroll to zoom in, Alt+Scroll to move left/right (reversing keys) From my experience, zooming in is much more important than just moving left/right. I recorded myself editing and 80% of the time I would zoom in, and 20% move left/right. I say we change that and prioritize zooming in. Alt Scroll is a relatively hard combination. You need to stretch your thumb in a way that leaves your left hand disjointed from the keyboard and then you need to readjust it after pressing Alt. Zooming in is one the most basic element of editing and navigating timeline! If you change it, efficiency and fluidity of work will substiantially increase.
Since the 24.4 update that changed the interaction with transitions between clips, you can no longer grab the clip break line with ripple, rolling edit, slip tools etc when your mouse is in the red area and you have a transition applied. You can only grab it when your mouse is in the green area which is very fiddly to do since it tries to click on the transition itself, rather than the edit point. It gets even harder when the track is shrunk to a small size and the relative red deadzone is still there but now the grabbable sections are even smaller. Please fix this by allowing these tools to grab ANYWHERE on the edit break line like it previously used to
There are several intances of clearly generative Ai images on Adobe Stock that are not labeled as Ai. Is there a way to report these images? For example: FILE #: 623577639 from user Artofinnovation is clearly and Ai image but not labeled. In fact, all of this particular user's images are clearly ai images but many are missing the Ai label. Just looking through the 1st page of their portfolio I found no less than 10 Ai images that are missing the label:FILE #: 607885007FILE #: 623578485FILE #: 619605798FILE #: 623577640FILE #: 612087689FILE #: 610057244FILE #: 619604437FILE #: 583095681FILE #: 572620297FILE #: 605499016 Users need a way to report this while browsing and so far I have found no means to do this besides posting to the community. I am coming across this far too often. I want to avoid Ai images at all costs and filtering the search results to exclude generative Ai should not mean I still run into this many Ai images.
I am trying out the current beta’s color controls. Though the tools seem somewhat powerful, accessing them through a separate workspace is very clunky. Especially given the controls are so small, and may be intended to replaced the lumetri panel. It seems like this system is trying to take on Resolve, but in a way that seems far less convenient than Premiere’s existing color tools. I would also love to see an option to edit with sliders instead of the wheels. Though I applaud the commitment to color tools, in its current state, the beta color tools feel more like a cosmetic upgrade to the UX without adding much to the functionality. That said, I really appreciate the texture controls. In a perfect world, I’d say just bring over the panel from Lightroom/lightroom classic into a unified color/image quality panel in Premiere. Tools like texture, clarity, dehaze, basic noise reduction, HSL sliders, and lens distortion correction would be a godsend incorporated into the Lumetri panel in Premiere.
In the next version of Lightroom could they implement a better spellcheck? The spellcheck currently in Lightroom3 does not work as well as spellcheck seen in Photo Mechanic or the basic spellcheck used on a Mac.Also could they make the caption box larger or the ability to increase the size. The current caption box is to small and makes it hard to see what is being typed? In a nut shell could they make the next Lightroom more like Photo Mechanic in terms of captioning and adding metadata ?
I frequently open images in Adobe Camera Raw from Adobe Bridge, and most often than not I'd like to return to Bridge without opening Photoshop. Can we have a keyboard shortcut for that? If you use a large display, it is inconvenient to drag your pointer to click such small button, with the risk of pressing cancel and losing your changes. Pressing ENTER is not a solution as it opens Photoshop and that will not commit the changes to the file, what is also undesirable. A simple keyboard shortcut will alleviate this pain and will be very welcomed. Thank you.
Hi! Please bring back the old behavior where clip label colors in the Project panel are reflected automatically in the Timeline. Now in version 25 of premiere pro, i have to manually label each clip in the timeline. Before where timeline clips automatically inherited the label color from the Project panel — was faster and more intuitive.
