clips are getting very cluttered - and it makes dragging them difficult!Open for Voting

Does anyone else out there think the interface on the clips in the timeline is starting to become too cluttered, and too unmanageable? There's a lot going on, visually and functionally, with the clips on the timeline these days.- rubber band- keyframes- FX badges- Audio Type badges- crossfade handlesAll have a purpose and I'm not saying they shouldn't be there - and I know some of them can be turned off. I don't know if it's just me, but with successive upgrades and new buttons and badges added to the clip interface, it's becoming harder and harder to simply grab a clip and drag it along the timeline. At a certain level of zoomed-outtedness, it literally becomes impossible. Clicking on a clip no longer selects the clip - it selects one of the afforementioned buttons or badges or keyframes or drag-handles instead.  NOBODY'S WANTING TO GRAB KEYFRAMES WHEN THEY'RE ZOOMED OUT THIS FAR!!! Nobody's ascribing audio types when they're zoomed out this far. The only thing people do zoomed out this far is slide things up and down the timeline!!!  Personally, I think common sense should prevail. Let there be a threshold beyond which none of these buttons, badges, handles and - especially - keyframes activate. Clicking on a clip selects the clip. Nothing more. If you want to twiddle keyframes or whatever, zoom in to the appropriate scale.  I know I can turn keyframes off, but turning them on and off everytime I want to grab a clip is just as annoying as grabbing a keyframe instead of a clip. It's not really a solution. So I wonder, does anyone else in the community have this problem? Would they like to see a simplification of the clip interface when zoomed out?

BILLION DOLLAR - AUDIO FEATURE REQUEST!Open for Voting

I would like to request a simplified version of the Transcription/Delete-Pauses Feature. I'm also including a few other items I will like to see here as well.  It would look something like this....1. In your timeline sequence window > select a collection of audio clips2. In the Essential Sound Panel > Click the "Remove Silence" Button3. The following radio buttons would appear:a. Trim silence at the beginning of each clip (yes/no)b. Trim silence at the end of each clip (yes/no)c. Trim in silence between audio (yes/no)*This one includes a slider button to adjust the "Minimum Sillence Length" [1.00] Seconds(just like in the transcript view options)d. Apply default audio transitions (yes/no)*This one includes a numeric text field to enter the following...(just like in the timeline>Preferences)"Audio Transition Defatault Duration" [00.01] (seconds or frames)e. Tag all selected clips as: (dialogue, music, SFX, Ambience) *If any of the clips are already tagged this would OVERRIDE any/all previous tags.f. Auto-match all selected audio clips?*This option would include a few different target Loudness settings with some clarification...For example...-14.00 LUFS (Spotify/Youtube)-23.00LUFS (International Broadcast Standard)------------This is a separate feature request but would go well here, so I'll include it. Ability to create different sound Profiles with the following types of attributesCreate Sound Profile....Profile Name: DougProfile Color Label: BlueReduce Noise: 3.0Enhance Speech Mix: 4.0Reduce Reverb: Pan: Left -35Volume: LevelAdd Effect: NoneShortcut Key: Command+1 Button: [Apply to All]*with all the audio clips selected, you could select any of the sound profiles you've created and then click "apply all" and it would apply all those attributes to the selected audio clips. Alternatively, while you are working through the timeline, you could select an audio clip or a few and use theshortcut key (assigned in the profile) to apply the audio profile attributes to your selected clip(s)I honestly think this is a BILLION DOLLAR idea that utilizes many of the brilliant new features Adobe has already created and consolidates them into an intuitive, efficient and optimal workflow that users can leverage to create quality work in a shorter period of time.  Thank you!

Move FX Badges To the Left and Regain "Get Properties From Selection" function in the TimelineOpen for Voting

I have two issues with premiere pro 24.5 on a Macbook M1 that have been detrimental to my workflow and speed of editing. These are, the apparent removal of the "Get properties from selection" when on the timeline and also the move of the "fx" icon on a clip on the timeline from the left to the right. For the "Get properties ffrom selection" I have this set as a shortcut key and use this on most clips on a timeline to determine what percentage I can slow down the footage by. Without it is seriously decreases the efficiency of my workflow. It sounds like this has been resolved in the 24.6 beta? However I wanted to throw my hat in the ring that this is a necessary feauture for users! For the move of the "fx" button on a clip I use this to change from the default opacity to time remapping adjustment. Having this on the left (previous versions) makes sense because as you move down the timeline you come across it first. Now with it on the right I need to zoom out, find the end of the clip, select time remapping and then zoom back in before I can make any speed ramp adjustments. Please move the button back to the left side of a clip.  I'm hoping that these issues can be resolved in a new update as I'm really frustrated with both of these changes as it's making my work much more difficult.   Mod note: Moved to the Ideas forum. The title was changed.

Paste option with auto bitmap or svg node creating .Open for Voting

I can't tolerate  Substance painter.  Struggle with it for years and never felt homy in it.  Once you accustomed to nodes you can't really  go back to layers.    Besides there are much better  brush systems around than what Painter offers.  I can't do a nice "roll" brush  in  Painter for examle Zbrush or Corel Painter  can.   Or do auto cavities  masking  zbrush can on the fly with pressure involved like a real world brush,  without  wasting your time on complicated  masks tweaking that always look sort of robotic  vs what simple human touch could do just by your own hand intuition.    Or Rebelle brushes  with true looking  flows and streaks  way ahead of  SPainter or  Corel Painter ones .    But even using Substance  Painter as a mask painter  it   would be so much more convenient to just copy/ paste masks to Designer and assemble  and tweak evrything procedural there instead of non stop puzzles with sbsar exports.   Mari with its cool nodes is a bit out of my price range and has its own weird quirks.    Still I would be perfectly happy if Designer just allows us to paste svg or bitmap with auto corresponding node creating  from any other software.   Svg node sort of allows to paste from Inkscape somehow but the scale and crop is all wrong.     Doing it through  save/open dialogs is too  annoying.       Could you do working  paste  from Photoshop please.  Both svg and bitmap.      Would be a reason to stay subscribed for it.  I am sometimes not sure why I  still do.    And paste from Blender please .  It has  best copy /paste options inside its image editing pane.   Just borrow the code from Blender.
