Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I am thrilled that Lightroom imports my photos from iphoto when it syncs, but recently, it has started importing two exact copies for every photo, they even have the same file name. I do have the "avoid dupicates" option checked in the import box, but that concerns photos that one is manually importing. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

Hello, I’m considering buying an ipad air soon as I don’t have access to my main computer and LR classic for months. I have few questions before getting an ipad : Can I open photos (.NEF and .DNG) on the ipad and LR read the .xmp and all the parameters from my USB-C hard drive ? (not the LR catalog, only photos on case by case) I’m shooting more and more films and I have TIFF scans 16bits that are smth like 60mo up to 150mo ; can the ipad and LR handle that ? (I don’t mind to take a coffee and wait for exports…) What will be the limitation of ipad + LR compared t LR classic and a computer ? What have you experienced ? At the end of that period I will move back to my computer so I wonder how the transition from the ipad to the desktop computer will be ? How not to loose all development ? Will the solution be to import all in LR on the ipad and then sync it on LR Classic when back in my studio ? (does the full file get uploaded on the cloud ?) Than

I don't know what I do wrong, I did everything, reset, reinstall whatever! but Lightroom won't use the intended folder assigned for the chance!

Necesito ayuda, compré hace poco lightroom y lo instalé en mi laptop pero intento editar algunas fotografías y no me deja utilizar la herramienta reducción de ruido y desenfoque de lente, está demasiado lento, se queda generando DNG mejorada pero no avanza másde 95%, dice algo ha salido mal y luego se cierra lightroom, llevo toda la tarde intentando encontrar una solución.  Ya restablecí las preferencias y también realicé una instalación limpia y nada, sigue pasando lo mismo. Mi laptop es una Acer Nitro 5, Intel Core i5, Nvidia Geforxe RTX y está casi nueva, llevo aproximadamente 5 meses de uso. Agradecería mucho una ayuda❤️

No photo "Synced and Backed up", but storage space shows 3.5gb occupied.... UPDATE Now 4.3gb 😞I have no Deleted pictures in the Bin... any idea on how to fix this?

When I am finished editing.I do not want to say they copy.I want to say that over the original.So I always have one copy

When I work in lightroom, all is normal for about an hour and then it starts to pixelate the photos i am working on.

This is a weird one, I've never seen it before or had this before.  On my iPad Pro (10.5") the "update" button that shows up when you load an old RAW image to update from a legacy profile can't be pressed.  It's not disabled, or doesn't look like it, but nothing happens when I touch it.  No reaction, no message, nothing.   This is in a set of images I've been working with before, and never seen this before.  The only difference now is I'm on a mini vacation (same country) and on crappier wifi (but just crappy, not disabled or anything).     The images aren't local, but load fine when I start the app, and the rest of it (editing other images, moving between the 'legacy' set of images, that sort of thing, all work just fine.   Update - changing from wifi to hotspot doesn't change anything, nor did rebooting the ipad, or deleting and reinstalling the app.  The update button on the same photos on the iPhone works just fine.

I'm using Lightroom CC on Windows 10 and having issues with Lightroom CC and Classic on the external monitor. The display issue is different, depending on which screen I open it on, but no matter which way I do it, there are problems. Thanks in advance for your help, I'm going crazy. I have done some troubleshooting (below) and I have been trying to get support from Adobe for over a week, but they keep telling me someone will contact me and they never do (I've literally been on chat for over 3 hours today just trying to get a call scheduled). They have indicated this is a common problem for LR as it scales differently than the rest of the suite. Running Lightroom on Windows 10 on HP Spectre 13", 4k resolution. Hello! For years I’ve added keywords to images in Lightroom Classic, which then show up in Lightroom CC when I sync albums. I recently replaced my MacMini with a MacBook Pro. Since then, the keywords added in Lightroom Classic no longer show up in Lightroom CC. Nothing else in my workflow has changed. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? thanks!

Help!!! LR does not recognize my server drive anymore and thinks it is offline. I tried reseting and moving multiple times but to no avail.Specs:LR - up to date as of 9.28.24Windows 10 - up to date as of 9.28.24Server - NAS (QNAP) FYI - this used to work wonderful and without issues and just recently stopped working.Please see screenshot of error.  

I want to make albums always available offline with full resolution photos. Currently it's possible only if Smart Previews are turned off, and then photo is downloaded/edited or album is marked with Store Locally. It's not desired behaviour because most of the time, I want to keep Smart Previews for most photos, but for certain albums, I want to keep them offline all the time, regardless of Smart Preview settings

When i want use lightroom premium on my mobile, i cant purchase, it say "something went wrong" ??          

I wish you could change the color of certain objects/colors. You only can brighten them or change the dynamic of that color. 

Since 125% scaling can be enabled via the config file and ir works absolutely fine, is there any reason why it can't be enabled in the settings window? This is the ideal scaling for me and probably many others.

I am just now getting around to using LR with the new MacOS install, assuming that is what is causing the issue? However, I have followed guides on line to supposedly allow it to work, however it is still erroring out. Below is the error, and below that is the access I gave to LR and still does not correct the problem.  Not sure what else to do at the moment ... Not seeing anything else online, unless I missed it about this.

( Je suis sous windows )Je voudrais que Lightroom travaille en Adobe RVB (1998) afin que lorsque je l'ouvre sur photoshop, ils soient tous les deux sur la même chose.Par défaut, il travaille en Prophoto, et donc quand je clique sur " Modifier dans photoshop " j'ai toujours la même notification qui m'avertit, et je ne veux plus qu'il s'affiche à chaque fois.Je sais que nous pouvons facilement le faire dans les parametres de Lightroom Classic, mais dans la version cloud je n'ai trouvé aucune solution. Merci d'avance.Joey

When a custom camera profile is created for raw photos and imported into Lightroom CC it functions correctly in Lightroom CC. However if that synced photo is then opened in Lightroom Mobile you get an error 'Missing Profile' which takes up about 1/3 of the iPhone screen which means you cannot conveniently even view the photo, let alone edit it. If you tap the 'Continue' button in this error message the photo does appeare full screen but it changes the Profile to 'Adobe Standard' and syncs that change back to the cloud immediately.   I realize that because these profiles work on raw images and Lightroom Mobile doesn't (normally) handle raw images that it might be difficult to properly allow editing of these photos in Mobile without changing the profile to one of the standard ones that are supported in Mobile. But the way these images are handled now is very annoying and even destructive.   If Lightroom Mobile cannot handle these custom camera profiles then I would suggest that

I have synced collections in Lightroom classic so I can use them as albums in Portfolio. When I click on the link in Portfolio to add the images from Lightroom it shows Recent Albums. The albums show as blank grey boxes with the album name below them. When I click on the album it is empty and shows “No photo”. However, the images that should be in the albums are displayed below the album section in recent photos.This means I can only import the images by selecting them individually rather than by each album. How can I fix this issue?

I installed the latest version of Adobe Lightroom and now my keyboard shortcuts stop working at mid session.  When I open Lightroom, everything works, but after a few minutes most the shortcuts simply won't work anymore. I have to shut down the application and open it again.  It is quite annoying....

Im in the folder of the selected date only, and stacking is selected in the denoise menu pop up but suddenly my images are no longer stacking. Stacking is currently grayed out all together. Ive restarted my software and my computer. ive read on other questions it just started working one day, but i need this solved asap as time is sensitive. any help is super appreciated. 

Hello, those two horses drive me mad and now I spent 45 minut chating to Adobe just to end up here. So, Hi everyone, hope youre having a beautiful day.          Only way to replicate is to hover over the names of the sliders, but it is not consistent. Facts:- Win 11 Home (up-to-date, non-beta participant), Intel 13400F, RTX3060- Lightroom 20240801 poweruser. Hints are popping up only after update, but this one persists.- The whole system (and yes CC and Lightroom) were restarted and booted up multiple times. P.S.: Im just bitter because of those two frisking horses that jerk away my focus every single time i hover my mouse in the general area... other than that Im trying to be a pleasent guy 😄 so dont mind my tantrum.
