Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I started a "trial" subscription in Adobe Lightroom on Android. This is what the user sees: The resulting subscription has no trial. My credit card was immediately charged, not after 7 days. There is no way to cancel the "trial", the yearly subscription is immediately active. I hope this is a honest mistake, otherwise this calssifies as scam.   Please check your subscription products in Google Play and ensure they match what you promise in the app UI. You are tricking customers into a subscription they might not want.   Support was able to cancel the subscription for me (still waiting for confirmation from Google), but this is a really bad look and experience.

My Online Adobe account is associated with my email accound but it seems the iOS app only supports Apple, Google, FB...is there a way to workaround the same, the auto-upload features seems like a good things to synch and quickly edit photos

Good Evening, er well, should I say bad evening.I was subscribed to the whole Creative Cloud package through my university, but without any notice, the school terminated the student licences. I had all my photos and presets stored in the cloud through Lightroom and now can't access my student account anymore. Is there some kind of way to reobtain my pictures or transfer them to a non-student account?Thanks in advance!

Tengo la version de Ligtroom 7.2 instalada en mi computadora MacOS Sonoma 14.5 desde q hice la actualizacion a principios de año del Ligtroom, el boton de Balance de blanco vino diferente y a partir vde ayer, cuando lo quiero usar, cierra el programa de Ligtroom y no puedo trabajar con las fotos. Por favor, necesito ayuda para resolver este problema. Gracias

hi yall I'm trying to reopen a file that has layers from LR. PS would previously open up and my layers would be intact but now the images are opening up flattened. I've read a few forums that say choose "edit original" but the only option LR gives me is Open in Photoshop. I am working on Adobe Lightroom, not classic, and Photoshop CC 2021, both up to date. I haven't seen anyone specify but wanted to add this info just in case. I had no trouble before using command +shift+ E to open up the files in PS with layers, and I haven't changed any settings. I'm stumped.

I am being billed by adobe "Lightroom monthly $15.99" but payed a year "Lightroom photo editor $81.99" what is this and how to I just have the one billing 

I have monthly subscription. But I can't use it now. It's again asking for purchasing premium

Hi all, I have recently started using LR Desktop in earnest, transitioning from LR Classic. The recent updates are excellent. But there are some simple things I miss, such as the 'Lights out' option in Classic. Also, I don't see a way of comparing more than two images at at time, when culling/comparing images for example. Only small things, but it would be nice to have them.

Why isn't there a SNAP feature for the tone curve on the MOBILE APP

I assume there is some setting I'm missing. I have unchecked "iCloud Photos" in the photos settings, but I still have 14K photos being synced. I also am confused about the "location for Lightroom's synced images". the file selected has both Photos and LR files in the same location. Is that a problem?

Hello everyone, Earlier, I used a org account to edit my photos from my macbook and iPad until this month I stopped using it and the org changed password. Then I started using another personal account and when I logged in for the first time, all the images I edited using org account were gone.I checked my finder and found out that the Light Room library is still about 7GB. Is there any chance that I can still recover my images using the LightRoom Library file? Thank you all in advance. 

I have this issue on Lightroom since... a long time:The last picture I edit on desktop is never synced on the mobile app (the edits I made I mean, not the file itself). So I have this crap photo I always need to edit (I just need to move one slider) so I can check the previous picture I was working on on my iPhone.So if I edit 10 photos on my desktop, only the 9 will be synced on mobile. I need to edit an 11th to see the 10th. And so on...I'm kind of used to it now, but maybe someone know how I can fix this? I made several researches but found nothing... (I hope I explained my problem well, english is not my native language...)

I am new to using LR (desktop) and PS. I recently tried using LR on my Dell laptop, 11th gen i7-1165g7,2.80 ghz, 16.0 GB ram, win 64 win 11 home.When processing a photo in denoise in takes 3 min and 45 sec to finish. Is this normal? Are my specs to low to process in LR?TIA   Al

Odd, this week LR CC started importing photos taken on my iPhone (without my help).  This morning I opened the iPhone camera app and took four pictures. This afternoon I opened LR CC on my MacBook Pro.  The four pictures have automagically appeared in LR CC?I suspect this is happening on my iPhone.  But it may be happening on my Mac.  The iPhone Photos App is syncing with my Mac's Photo App.  LR CC on my Mac, could be grabbing the photos from Apple Photos App on my Mac.  As I said, it is probably happening on my iPhoneTo stop this, on my iPhone, I went into settings and removed LR CC's permissions to read and write to App Photos.  Is there another way to stop this?ThanksMonty

Hello all,Been using Lightroom Classic 6.14 for about 8 years now.  Also dipped my toes into basic ($10/mo) LR cloud account.Just upgraded camera to Sony A7riv.  Large files, amazing resolution.   But I'm having some difficulty importing into my dinosaur LR Classic 6.14.Am I being stupid?  Is this a good time to fully embrace Adobe Cloud?   And should I consider LR/LR Classic/PS for $20/month?Bottomline, I'm at the point in my career that I need my edit software to be optimal. Much appreciate any and all feedback or comments.Rob 

Hola, quiero comprar un abonamento Ligthroom con Photoshop, quisiera saber, el plan anual, que se paga mensualmente, puedo cancelarlo cuando quiera? es decir, comprar el plan, usarlo un par de meses y despues cancelarlo y comprarlo de nuevo cuando lo necesite otra vez. Se puede cancelar cuando yo quiera?

I've never thought twice about Lightroom performance before, but now it's incredibly clunky. I've cleaned cache, restarted, etc. I keep my originals locally on an external HD, with copies in the cloud, if that's relevant, but it's never been an issue before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. 

Hello dear community.I have the problem that Lightroom doesn't allow me to write to an external hard drive. This morning I was able to export photos as jpeg to an external hard drive and into the designated folder. I imported a new batch of images and now I can only export them using the short cut to the folder generated by Lightroom on my internal hard drive. But no longer specifically in specified folders. I have already allowed all hard drive access rights in the settings of my Mac Book Lightroom, but nothing happens. I'm currently in a project with a deadline of Monday, May 27th, 2024. Please help me!!! What should I do?

Won't let me save files from lightroom to my Mac. It will for photoshop and I dont get why please help.

If I'm not going to print my photographs does the resolution/ppi settings affect the quality of them, the way they are displayed or any other aspect of them. If yes, what should my ppi be. Also why everyone suggests 72ppi for web use. If you dont choose that are they going to be projected too big/small?

Can you add option to work offline without usage of cloud? I need something that doesn't sync to cloud.
