Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

  I need it more and more as I mainly shoot handheld and each photo is slightly offset, but it's not the same angle on each one to just copy paste the angle, and i didn't really find a way to copy that "auto" setting, only the angle resulted from auto straightening. Is there a way i am missing?

I am so fed up with the rubbish that is adobe. I haven’t been able to use adobe PROPERLY for over a year. It keeps saying I don’t have enough space but shows plenty of space. [abuse removed by moderator]

I keep getting this error: "Catch in IPhotoshopApplication, exception encountered: Failed to create enviroment config: photoshop_exception"  I do not know how to fix it ive tried to reinstall it as well as my video card driver and nothing seems to work for me. Any suggestions are welcome

My newly purchased laptop features with intel’s new CORE ULTRA X7 358H, Arc B390 iGPU. Lightroom simply cannot recognize the GPU and cannot use the hardware acceleration. When will the new hardware get support?

This would be helpful for product shots (i.e. lighters and torches) that need to be cropped to have the same product height as their previous photos.

I upgraded my phone to Google Pixel Pro 10 in January 2026. Have imported photos (.jpg) to library and begun to add metadata (titles etc - automatically saved to XMP). I have noticed on file explorer that these metadata are not appearing in the details pane whilst those added to photos from my camera (Sony A7 IV) do. Metadata added to my previous phone photos (Pixel 8) are also saved. When I check Properties, I have also noted that the Pixel 10 photos say they may be blocked as the file came from another computer. Checking the ‘unblock’ box doesn’t change things (and I don’t know how to do this in batch). What’s going on? Also, what’s with the xmp side car files? I am sure there is a simple fix. Search reveals stuff about HDR which I am not using. Please help. Thank you. 

I am using Lightroom (Cloud-based) for macOS, version 9.3.1. This bug has been present for a long time.Default Capture Date sort order in Photo Grid is newest first, oldest last (reverse chronological order). The Sort menu shows this: I prefer oldest first and newest last (chronological order). I can change it using the Sort menu: But when I follow this sequence:Create a filter for some images. Delete all images selected by the filter. Select Turn Off Filters.The photos are now shown in newest first (reverse chronological) order, even though the Sort menu is still set as for chronological.This is a bug. I can select Reverse Order twice to get the Photo Grid to display in the order I want but it should not change the order.

You can no longer tab between text fields when updating the Info fields or adding keywords. You have to manually select the text box and then type.

Just a suggestion for a future update. I would like to have the versions feature but only for crops. So I could edit the entire photo, save multiple crops the same way we save named versions, then when I edit the photo further all crops receive the new edits without me having to recrop. Perhaps it could be under the crop section. Just add options to save crops and restore previously saved crops.

how can I change keyboard shortcuts and turn off delete warnings?

When I add photos directly through the Lightroom application on my MacBook Pro the photos do not show up for the other accounts that the album is shared with. If they upload photos to the same album however everyone can view them. The only work around I’ve discovered is manually adding through the web browser which is less than ideal since it breaks up the upload process and takes significantly longer through the browser.  Has anyone else had a similar issue and if so what did you do to fix this? I’ve left the albums and returned as well as creating new albums to share but when I share new albums they show up blank for others when they have hundreds of photos in them.

In LR Classic Doesn`t work "Export with before settings" function. (It worked still now)I try to export in the same folder, and with the same settings than pic I have xport before and doesn`t work.EditCheck for similar questions

Lightroom cloud-based is improving with each update and the only thing I’m missing before I can ditch Lightroom Classic completely is a map module. I add geo location data to each and everyone of my photos and this can’t be done in a smooth manner in the new Lightroom. Is there any information or rumours about a map functionality coming to the new Lightroom?Anyone know anything about this? I have searched the net but found nothing. 

This is a question for Adobe and I’m being sincere here. I’m not trying to be snarky or rude or anything, I’m genuinely interested in the answer. Does Adobe think that no one are using their apps on iPad as their main versions of Adobe apps?To be more precise, does Adobe think that Lightroom on iPad is used only as a backup or a travel app? A way to edit on the go, but at home people use Lightroom on their PC?  It might be that I’m actually the only one, but I use Lightroom on my iPad almost exclusively. It’s faster and more comfortable. I don’t wanna turn my PC on if I don’t have to.  The reason I ask is that I think it’s weird that there is functions on the PC version of Lightroom (not classic) that is not mirrored on the iPad version. Like you can’t import profiles on the iPad, you need to do that on the PC.  I’ve been trying to think up reasons why there is this discrepancy, and I can’t really come up with another explanation for it other than Adobe assumes people don’t use the iPa

Lightroom web version has suddenly stopped recognizing subjects and people for AI masking.  When using one-click for quick selection and adjustments, only whole image presets come up.  When trying to select the mask or using presets, nothing is selected/changes.  I've restarted Chrome, restarted my PC, made sure Chrome and all GPU drivers are up to date, etc.  Was working fine on one image then not the next.  These are all JPEG files.  Any ideas?

Eu troquei de celular recentemente. Instalei novamente o ligthroom. Os presets vieram junto com o backup .   Mas quando eu edito uma foto antes e depois coloco o preset depois ela volta a ter a edição original da foto. Mesmo nas fotos que já foram editadas anteriormente da troca do meu celular.Isso acontece dentro do app. E também quando coloco o preset, a bolinha que fica debaixo  baixo do ícone não aparece. 

Auf dem Aktuellen gespeicherten Laufwerk ist kein Platz mehr vorhanden um Weitere Fotos zu Importieren bei Lightroom. Nun Ist meine Frage ob ich Lightroom Deinstallieren kann ohne das mein Aktueller Bearbeitung stand der Fotos Verloren geht. Zusätzlich bin ich mir nicht sicher ob der Katalog danach auch am Neuen Speicherort ist oder ob nur die Applikation den Speicherort ändert. Einfach ausgedrückt, wird alles wo Lightroom Beinhaltet verschoben und bei behalten oder nicht.Vielen dank schon mahl für die Hillfe.      

I’m trying to export a batch of 500 photos from Lightroom, but the process is extremely slow. After about 10 minutes, only four photos have been exported. I’m doing this on a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop with a Core i7 8th‑gen processor and 12GB RAM, so the performance slowdown is surprising. At this rate, it’s hard to estimate how long the full export will take while I’m still working on edits.

There appears to be a bug that I’d hope is specific to my system alone but on a long hold of the View/Hide icon on the Curve options. It does not appear to happen on any of the other View/Hide icons on any of the other settings.

I go to preferences, cache and the right side of the screen is cut off.  The option to select Browse in order to select a drive/folder for my files is unavailable.

It really is as simple as stated: Lightroom will not either export or shift a picture to Photoshop.

In Adobe Lightroom, the left sidebar under the Albums section does not display the full names of albums when the album names are longer. Problem with Lightroom (not Lightroom Classic) is resetting my edits. When I open Lightroom again some of my photos edits are changed back to the original. Very annoying. The Xmp file is in the folder but its half the size of those where my edits are left in Lightroom.

Since the edit before this last one, some of my subject masks have been randomly moving place and distorting the edit. I have tried reseting the mask, and deleting it and trying again with the same results.
