Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi, I had some files in Lightroom and removed them. I tried re-importing them, but Lightroom does not let me select the files when I try to import them again. Can anyone help, please?Thanks so much!

Essa tarde assinei o premium do lightroom mobile via cartão de crédito. O aplicativo primeiro me fez a cobrança 2 vezes e após isso extornou apenas 1 vez, mantendo a outra como pagamento normal. Após isso tentei usar os recursos Premium porém sem sucesso, já tentei restaurar a compra mas apenas diz "sua conta não tem compras anteriores", também tentei todos os métodos do suporte e até agora nenhuma solução.

I currently run LR Classic on a Windows 10 PC. Not a gaming PC, but it does alright. However, I've decided to upgrade to a Mac Mini M2 Pro with 16GB memory and 512GB SSD.My RAW files and my exports are both contained on a network storage device and not on the local PC.  Is there a definite advantage to switching to LR Desktop or should I stay with LRC running on the Mac with my photos staying on the NAS as now? Since I'm basically starting over in a sense, is there a better file structure AND should I switch to LRD? I'm an amateur photographer so blinding speed is not an issue, but something faster than editing on my Win10 PC would be nice.

I have Lightroom (not classic) need to export 300 dpi.  But it keeps only exporting at 240 dpi.  How do you get high res export? 

I have multiple sunset photos taken on the iphone 14 pro max in RAW format. The original photo has distinct light rays shining throigh the clouds. This is visible on the device, on the upload to ipad and also on my windows photo viewer. When importing this photo into lightroom all of these details are gone. I have  case open with tech support and they have said it is an issue with the apple pro raw color profile they are using. Case # ADB-27875045-K4H3. This issue is able to be recreated on multiple machines with the same result. My pre-import photo has all the details and information displaying correctly, whilst the post-import image in lightroom is missing all the detail. Original Photo   Lightroom Imported Photo

Hello Lightroom Fam, I would like everyones opinion on what is better for exporting an edited photo for printing. The printing company I am using just takes .JPG at the moment and is ok for my current endeavors. When exporting , in the dimensions drop down,  should I choose the Full size option or choose the custom inches option. I am aware that exporting the full size option is a larger file size and has a 240 dpi in export. When choosing the custom inches the file size will vary depedning on the size of the orint ordered and I can choose 300 DPI on export. Which do you think will harbor better results when exporting for printing. My printing sizes are from 11"x14" up to 24"x36" Part of what has me thinking about this so in depth is that usually a larger file size equals more information and more information equals better quality. Any help and professional opinoons are very uch appreciated.

Installed LR on new computer. It's not reading my saved catalog file which is indexing over 50k photos. Any thoughts?

How do you navigate when in mask mode in Lightroom on a PC Windows? There is no naviagtion pane like the one in Lightroom Classic.

I have recently moved entirely to Lr (as opposed to LrC) and have been very happy with my decision, now that the Local tab in Lr is working. Question: when I move a photo from Lr to PS with the 'Edit in Photoshop' function, is there a way to export the file to PS as a PSD instead of a TIF?  Obviously in LrC you can. Thanks,David

Is anybody else out there experiencing their images that should be in My edits folder not appearing in Lightroom? This started happening a day or so ago, fine until then (could open, edit, etc) Attached 2 screenshots to show what I mean: there should be 357 images in My edits but nothing shows up, as per black screen in 2nd screenshot. They're definitely there, as I only edited & saved here a few days ago!? Has anyone else seen this before? Ref: Lightroom Android ver 9.0.1 

The  metadata appears to be in sync but the sync status reads "Syncing Metadata" on a number of files.If I play with the data of an individual picture by adding a removing a star for example, the sync status changes to synced and backed up.Any ideas as to how to resolve this?

Guten Abend,ich habe folgendes Problem. Ich habe vor einer Weile mir das Lightroom Abo gekauft mit 1TB speicher in dem Glauben ich bekomme auch Lightroom Classic dazu. Ich hatte mich leider nicht richtig informiert...was soll, ist halt Lehrgeld.Jetzt wollte ich auf das Foto Abo aufstocken um Photoshop und Lightroom Classic dazu zu bekommen. (Lightroom Classic ist das wichtigste Programm für mich!)Sobald ich aber auf "kaufen" gehe meckert es beim Zahlvorgang rum uind sagt: "Sie haben Lightroom-Abo mit 1 TB bereits gekauft." und ich kann das Abo nicht abschließen!.Kann mir hier jemand weiter helfen?Vielen Dank im Voraus.

I use Adobe Lightroom CC and have several albums in there. I have given my assistant 'contribute and edit' access to my albums. I want her to do the work of adding keywords and editing titles and captions. but that option is not working. She can only view the information not edit it.  How can we collaborate on metadata editing and creation in Lightroom CC?

So I have never used Lightroom before and I'd like to learn. I installed the program through the  Creative Cloud app, and upon opening the program, I cannot. do. anything.The + import button on the top left is grayed out. When I go to the File dropdown menu, 'Add Photos' is also grayed out. There is no "Import Photos" button at the bottom. I can't find a single other question or tutorial that has encountered this issue so I'm at a complete loss. Not really sure what I'm missing here. Screenshots below. This is all I can see when I open the program. I was assuming that all I had to do was install, import some photos, and start playing around but I guess that's not the case. I am running Windows 10 and haven't had any issues with Photoshop or Illustrator on this device. I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall.

I understand Adobe are pushing towards LR (a good idea).  Would it be possible standardise  the UI for LR to look like Classic.   Even the wording would be an improvent. e.g. Basic v Lighting.   Just an idea.

Hi all, I have a pack of presets I've been successfully using in Lightroom for the past couple years - dng files. I recently had to create a new Creative Cloud account and so went to import the dng presets into Lightroom again but when I do, it won't allow me to import the files. I can go as far as clicking on the folder that houses them all but the files are unavailable to choose, as in I can see them but can't select one.  Does anyone know what's happening here or how I could import and use these? Thank you so much! 

Hi, I lost access to my LR-5 due to an operating systems update. Now on LR-CC, the mirate catalogue function is inactive. I cannot resolve issues with the catalogue in LR-5 and I cannot take the intermediate step of LR-classic (both recommended elsewhere for such problems). Thanks for any helpful hints, Hinrich

I've finally had enough of Adobe's awful Cloud service and have been deleting all shared albums. I'm however left with around 10k images in the Cloud, mainly from various mobile devices which have then synched to Lightroom Classic, so I do have original images on my local NAS. If I try to delete any images in the web interface, it warns me that they will be deleted from Lightroom, but it does not make clear whether this is just from Lightroom CC in the Cloud or whether it will attempt to delete the copies on my local storage.  So if Adobe or anyone else can confirm how to completely ditch Adobe Cloud whilst preserving my local images, I'd be grateful

Hallo,  ich bin von LR Classic auf LR CC umgestiegen. Beim Aufruf einiger jpg mit der macos Version von LR CC werden mir die Bilder nach kurzer Zeit als fehlerhaft angezeigt (Bild ist anscheinden beschädigt). Das Bild wird mit Artefakten angezeigt. Die ipad Version zeigt das Bild einwandfrei an. Die Version auf der Festplatte ist ebenfalls okay. Wenn ich die Datei lösche und erneut hochlade, kann es vorkommen, dass das Bild korrekt dargestellt wird oder auch nicht. Auch bei RAW Dateien kommt es vor, dass nach dem Nachladen aus der Cloud kurzzeitig eine Fehlermeldung angezeigt wird. Die verschwindet wieder und das Bild wird in diesem Fall fehlerfrei angezeigt. Ich verwende einen iMac M1 mit macos 14.1.1. und LR CC 7.0. Kann jemand helfen?

I am on the latest versions of Lightroom CC and MacOS, and use the "g" and "e" keys to switch between edit and grid view of my photos, but I now see an annoying warning about edit controls only being available in detail view. On my laptop, this error column takes up valuable space. Am I doing something wrong? What is the best way to switch between these two views using keyboard shortcuts? Thank you.

Hi to everyone. I have an existing Apple Mobile Lightroom account and my archive contains 25K pics for a total of 256Gb. Now I need to pass to a Adobe CC account with a new Adobe account. My problem is that I need to pass all the pictures to the new account. How can I do?What are the option to save all my raw file + metadata (modification) to the new account?If I try to download all the 25000 pictures I always get some kind of trouble due the long time required to make this download. Please, help me. thanks!
