Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I have successfully upscaled both raw and jpegs a total of eight times using Generative Upscale in Lightroom v9.2. Everything worked perfectly, until yesterday evening when I received a “Service Unavailable, try again later” message. Thinking the server might be overloaded with requests, I thought I’d try again this morning and I still get the same message.I know I have enough credits as the last time I upscaled I had 80 credits left, enough for 4 more upscales this month.So, is this a server capacity issue because everyone is trying it out? Or, is there something else wrong with the system?

With the new version the icons which appeared on the photos in the develop module no longer show up. No crop or photo adjustments.  Also the information above the photo with date, file size no longer appears

LR Classic 15.0 impromptu slideshow (not the full scale generate version) has always show a full screen image with the caption overlaid ONTO the image. I think I may have set it up many years ago. Suddenly I’m getting the image surrounded by a large pale grey frame with the caption underneath. I have struggled and got somewhere near but I can’t see how to overlay the caption onto the image. Any ideas on how to do this and which option I’ve pressed to mess things up?Thanks,John

Mid edit, LR will just shut down, this seams to happen if using an of the Ai, LR pre-sets or Mask features. When reopened sometimes the edit has been saved most times not. LRC doesn't seam to be having the issues so far. Computer Windows 11 is running the most up to date version of the LR programme as I only subscribed last week. I have done all required updates on both the computer and Adobe 

Hi there,I would like to clean up some storage space on my Mac and I noticed that most of my Document storage is taken by Lightroom files. Could you please advise me/explain me which of these is safe to delete? There are many backup Catalog zip files, can I get rid of them all apart from the most recent one? What about the other type of files?Many thanks,Lucia 

I would like to request for your team to optimize Lightroom and Lightroom classic to take advantage of multi-core performance, rather than rely on single-core performance. These programs have become so bloated and heavy that even with the latest, fastest, most efficient chips from Apple (M4 Max & M5 Max), routine tasks like selecting different items in the panel take up to 20-30 seconds to respond. This is unacceptable, and makes Lightroom almost unusable. Please optimize these programs to use more than a single core when editing. Make it an opt-in, kind of like the GPU acceleration in the settings. Simple, probably easy for your software engineers, and your customers will love you for it. Thanks! 

I want to share a photo directly to WhatsApp or wherever but I am unable to because  I can’t even export as either.  this is on Lightroom mobile on the iPhone

every time I go to export a series of photos with the same name the sequence number resets back to one, making it very difficult to keep my photos organized. 

I used to get notifications about likes unter the bell icon, then I was able to tap them and view/edit the photo, convert likes into picks.Now nothing happens, whats the point if I can’t work with them anymore? 

I edited a full resolution ProRAW 48mp dng file from the 1x main lens on my iPhone 17 Pro Max using the latest lightroom mobile for iOS on the latest version of iOS, using adobe neutral profile, and output it as JPEG. When viewing that JPEG file using my One Plus Open’s native gallery app, and the Google Photos app, it looks very different than when I use the same apps on my iPhone 17 Pro Max.  However, that same ProRAW dng file edited in lightroom mobile for android on my One Plus Open, using the exact same values and settings (adobe neutral profile, all adjustments etc..) as the lightroom mobile for iOS looked identical in viewing in my iPhone 17 Pro Max native photos app, and google photos app for iOS as it did when viewing in my One Plus Open using its default native photo app and google photos for android. Is there something different when it outputs/processed from lightroom mobile for iOS that’s making it look weird on the One Plus Open’s app?  It isn’t the display of the One Plu

I didn’t found option to print pictures from ligthroom

This has been a bug for a few versions now, but when the edit panel is open the (Show Original) button on the bottom panel under the filmstrip half gets covered,  It looks like a half square that has been cut off by the edit panel. instead of condensing it all it now covers when it can make items on the panel under the film strip, which can be frustrating when trying to edit.

Long story short I have lost my entire local light room catalog (3500 images) after deleting the app. I purchased more cloud storage just before this happened but the catalog did not fully upload as all these images now sit unusable in the sync issues folder. I am wondering whether there is any way of reinstating these images without deleting and re uploading as I want to retain the edit settings. The alternative would be to try and recover the deleted catalog on my laptop (there is no backup) if anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful. 

Ich bearbeite mehrere Bilder im .CR3 Format mit Lightroom. Eines davon öffne ich mit Photoshop um den Hautglätten Neuralfilter zu verwenden. Nach ausführen und speichern schließe ich PS. Nun bin ich wieder in LR, jedoch hat keine Änderung stattgefunden / wurde nicht übernommen.

Versie 9.2 maakt export files aan die niet goed werken op websites en bij druk in kranten. De geëxporteerde foto's zien er op het oog goed uit, maar vertonen vlakke blauwige foto's bij publicaties op web of krant. Het lijkt erop dat ze met colorspace ProRGB worden geëxporteerd ook als je een  andere kleurruimte hebt geselecteerd.Ik ben als workaround teruggegaan naar v9.1, waar alles wel goed werkt.Ik sluit tweemaal dezelfde foto bij. Op het oog hetzelfde maar de 9.2 doet hij het dus niet in krant of web. Voorbeelden van de web en krantplaatsingen ook bijgesloten.Erik

When I import new files from an sd card or on computer, it seems like about 30-50% of the photos just fail to load and disappear on the grid view, I can’t interact with the photos, edit them, or view them. I think this is an Adobe Lightroom issue because Adobe Lightroom Classic loads these photos just fine, there’s nothing wrong in the metadata, and I don’t see any sign of corruption in the files. Some of the photos tend to disappear and not show up at allWhen I try to click on them they don’t show any properties or anything to editOn Lightroom Classic, I don’t see this issue at all. I imported one file that worked fine in Lightroom, then one that didn’t work in Lightroom 

Dear team, I’m a subscription members for Lightroom Mobile (IPhone user), and every time I'm trying to download the mask for select subject and select Sky and error occurred and as of now I'm unable to use this masking tools Phone: Iphone12Pro Max iOS V 15.2  lightroom V 7.2.0 note: I have tried already, clear cache, uninstalling and reinstalling and logging into Adobe account but nothing seems to work.   Hope someone can help   {Thread title has been updated}

Sometimes Lightroom (NOT Lightroom Classic) doesn't see a face in a photo. How can I point out the (obvious) face and then be allowed to tag it? Seems odd that it sometimes sees tiny faces in the background and misses obvious ones in the foreground. Sometimes it sees objects as “faces,” but then misses clear people with two eyes, a nose and a mouth. Ultimately, I would like to take these name tags and embed them in the image as metadata, but I have to get the tags on them first. Puzzled because this seems like such an obvious need, since facial recognition is never going to be 100% accurate.

my subscription on Lightroom Premium cannot be used. i have purchased the Lightroom Mobile Premium, but then it says "account expired" and cannot be restore. as i wanted to restore, it says "purchase restored" but nothing ever changed after that. it just the same. i still cannot use the premium one even i have already paid it. it happens last in 24hours. it just ruin my day, my time and everything. hope that this issues will be done perfectly please. 

Hi Team,I am currently trying to hit the Lightroom API from Salesforce to apply tags to images and videos.I am sending the below payload to attach tags to a particular asset. Hello adobe engineers and team!  I have a iPhone 17 pro max currently, and I just realized that no matter what I do in lightroom mobile (latest 11.2.3 for android and 11.2.2 for iOS) when editing the full res ProRAW or normal binned ProRAW dng, it always seems to be editing the embedded jpeg of it instead of the true raw.  For reference, I used this app here: https://github.com/AJ732101/DngMaster_Public  on my Oneplus Open running android 15, that DNGMaster app actually allows editing the true raw portion of the ProRAW.  In that app, when you open it, and edit, you can see much more fine details and adjustments; where as in LRM even when you turn down the sharpening, noise reduction and color noise reduction, it still looks clumpy, blotchy, and not proper.   The app mentioned above uses Libraw and OpenCV vs the android preview, which seems to somehow locks into the metadata of the jpeg portion of ProRAW.  I will attach the dng I used so the team can experiment on their end using LRM an

Just installed from the App Store I opened it. Everything works fine but when it comes to photo import, I could not see any photos on the local files. And when I try the own light tutorials, these photos could not be showed correctly on the left side. 

When import dng to LR on iPhone, sometimes the color shifts locations within the image. Not that the color values change, but all color can shift to a different part of the image, leaving the original location grayscale. (See included image). This does not happen for all imported dng’s, just a few seemingly at random. See image below. Anyone experienced this + know how to fix it?   

Whenever I try to use the “Archive Album Locally” function, it stops after copying some photos and does not finish. I tried to archive on a NAS, but the same happens when I use the SSD of my computer. It seems that small albums (less than 50 photos) are not affected. While I need to restart a few times for albums of a few hundred photos, it appears to be impossible to finish the archiving process for albums of more than 1000 photos. Is this an issue in Lightroom, or can I try something to solve this?
