I've already run through a lot of troubleshooting steps with a customer service agent, who unfortunately in the end was unable to help me. Basically, my Lightroom CC on my primary user profile is stuck. I can't open images to edit (they won't download fully from the cloud) I can't upload new images, I can't delete old images, I can't organize files. I've tried to "reset" my Lightroom by deleting the .mcat file and the entire .lrlibrary file, neither of which help. When I reopen Lightroom, it sits at "0 images" indefinitely, never downloading more images. According to the web-based Lightroom app, I have over 80,000 images. When I open activity monitor, Lightroom is always running at a huge 90%+ of my CPU, and I can't just quit Lightroom normally -- I have to force quit from activity monitor. After going through support with an agent remote-controlling my laptop (nothing worked), we discovered that Lightroom works completely fine on a new "test" profile
Olá, pessoal! Tudo bem?
Hi, having issues with storage, syncing and Lighroom. I had a notification in Lightroom that my Creative Cloud storage was full so I deleted half my Lightroom photos using the app. I then went onto lightroom.adobe.com to make sure they'd deleted there too. I also checked assets.adobe.com, which is empty. However, I'm still getting the notification that it's full whenever I use Lightroom. It won't sync because of this. Do I just need to wait for it to sort itself out or is there anything I can do? Thanks. {Title edited by Moderator}
Currently I can't click on photos on my device to edit. Every time I click it kicks me back to the home screen. Please help me restore it. {Title edited by Moderator for clarity and to aid search queries}
Hi Adobe Support, I updated Lightroom on my Android to the latest version, and now all my imported photos, edits, presets, and settings are gone. Nothing’s in the Deleted folder, and any new photos I import disappear when I close and reopen the app—like it’s resetting itself. I’m really stressed about losing my work. Can you help me recover my stuff and fix this issue? I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Android 15. My Adobe ID is <email redacted by mod>. Please let me know what I can do! Thanks
Issue: Lightroom takes a long time to load photo previews when selecting the SD card root folder as the source, but loads quickly when selecting the DCIM subfolder.Lightroom Version: 7.5OS and Version: Windows 11 (23H2)Steps to Reproduce the Behavior:Insert an SD card into the computer via an SD card reader.Open Adobe Lightroom and select the SD card root folder as the source for importing photos.Wait for Lightroom to load the preview view. Notice that photos load one by one very slowly.Close the import view and repeat the steps, but this time select the subfolder (DCIM) on the SD card where the photos are stored as the source.Observe that the preview view loads very quickly.Expected Result: The photo preview view should load quickly regardless of whether the SD card root folder or the DCIM subfolder is selected as the source.Actual Result: The photo preview view loads slowly when the SD card root folder is selected but loads quickly when the DCIM subfolder is selected.
What is the best way to get lightroom pictures into indesign?
When will the Lightroom android app get HDR photo editing feature on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra? Does Adobe have such a plan?
As sated in title, when i use the ai generative remove tool in lightroom cc, it just stuck at 100% popup window and just lag and not responding...
Hi!I have about 40 GB of photos with edits on Lightroom CC. I need to move the photos from one profile to another (both profiles are under the same account / same email address).How do I transfer photos from one profile to another without losing the edit settings between Lightroom CC profiles?I've tried Lightroom Downloader which doesn't preserve the edit settings but only saves the edits into the JPG files. I've tried creating a shared album - but you can't share an album with your own account. Am I missing a trick?For context: My employer is changing how their Adobe profiles are managed, meaning I will lose all my content from my old profile unless I somehow migrate it onto the new profile (which is under the same account).
Version 8.5.1, Mac OS 15.6.1 SequoiaI never hat problem to import presets in Lightroom. But I can't import anymore. Lightroom stucks at the half progress bar "Loading Presets..." Tried to logout/login, cleared the chache, reset the preferences. No success.
I think this may be more a feature request than a bug report, but it is an annoyance nonetheless. In Lightroom CC, I can 'edit in photoshop' and it will do just that.I can add layers, do whatever I need to do in photoshop, and save. The photoshop-edited photo appears in my lightroom library.If I then edit in photoshop again, even on another computer, the layers are still preserved - good!HOWEVER: if I then (accidentally) edit in lightroom again, all my photoshop edits are simply wiped out. If I edit again in photoshop, I simply get one flattened layer containing the photo with the edits that were done in lightroom. I appreciate that for lightroom CC to make edits it has to flatten the photo as it doesn't have a concept of layers, but it would be nice if it didn't simply wipe out the photoshop edits in order to continue editing in lightroom CC! If I have edited an image in photoshop, could you then 'lock' it for further editing in lightroom, and put a message saying "you
How can you rename using LR Mobile on phone or tablet?I do not want to export and give a new name as that creates a duplicate file on the device.I am in a remote location with no access to Lightroom Classic.
The option to "edit in photoshot" continues to stall out. It is very frustrating to pay this much money for programs that won't work properly. What should be a 2 hour editing session turns into a 4 hour session. Complete waste of time and money since this is how I make a living.
Wow!May be I am missing a step in moving images between Lightroom Cloud and PS? However, there does not appear to be an easy method to acomplish the task.
I had to reinstall Lightroom CC, and pointed it at my network share, where I have Lightroom set to Store All Originals. For some reason, it kept stating the network drive was disconnected, but after several attempts, it appeared to start syncing. I've now just noticed that all photos from October 2024 to March 2025 are gone. They were synced to the cloud. The originals were stored on my NAS. Lightroom CC has deleted both. They no longer exist anywhere under my Lightroom CC\<id>\originals folder. Nothing is in my deleted folder. The only hint that these photos ever existed are, for some reason, where it's preserved a few where I did edits. I am utterly devastated. I cannot contact support directly, because it's an Enterprise account and Adobe just fobs me off with "click here to log a case -> redirects me to a page that doesnt work". Any help would be appreciated.
Issue: Lightroom Version Number: Adobe Lightroom version 4.4OS Version Number: Windows 10 with the latest updates as of 9/20/2021Steps to reproduce:Open LightroomSelect photograph folder that contains pictures taken with any camera that produces RAW + JPEGStart importing.Wait until import of all pictures is complete and syncedExpected result: As with Lightroom Classic (and apparently much superior version) we expect for the pictures that are visually identical and taken at exactly the same instance in time to be stacked.Actual result: We can observe each pciture duplicated on the grid which causes a lot of clutter and wastes a lot of time during editing and sorting. Some may consider this to be a feature but since it always existed in the original LR, it is a bug for people migrating from it.
September '25 REMIX IT! Hey everyone, we're back with another Remix-it challenge and thank you for the amazing responses on our August Remix-it. Old can turn to Gold: The Albert Memorial, Kensington Gardens Commissioned by Queen Victoria after Prince Albert’s death in 1861. Designed in the Gothic Revival style, and unveiled in 1872, the Albert Memorial features a striking gilded statue of Prince Albert, seated beneath an ornate Gothic canopy that soars over 170 feet high. The image was clicked more than 10 years ago with an old camera, but Lightroom was able to give it a beautiful, new and modern look. Show us what you can do and check back next month to see our top pick for this challenge. To check out the top picks of the August '25 Remix-it challenge, check out the the post here. Lightroom is automatically putting Vincent Levelev as the copyright for my photos. I don't know if that will cause problems for me when selling my work. But I do need you to fix that.
