Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hello there! First, as a freelance photographer I really love how adobe lightroom helped me with my project. I just wanna share some thoughts that could help us build a better versions for everyone. It will be very helpful for us left handed if there will be an option to like move the tools to the other side to bellow. It will be a relly big help for us since I use an Ipad it's kinda hard to reach the tool to the other side using my left hand. And using a pen as well. Thanks a lot!

I'm using the web version of Lightroom. I've connected to Google Photo and imported two photos. My phone is a Google Pixel 8. The editing works top notch, no surprise there. However, the feature is useless to me because location data is not imported from Google Photos. The meta data I get are these:capture dateISO, focal lengthmodel name of my "camera", i.e. Pixel 8 No location data.  Is there a setting somewhere or what's going on? 

I thought my issue was with the previous computer I was using imac (8GB), however, now i'm on a mac mini with 42GB of memory and barely using any space...and yet LR will let me edit a batch of images before freezing and making me force quit. This is extremely frustrating and completely screwing up my workflow and making me get behind with delivering work. I've read and tried just about all of the suggestions and even went and bought an entire new computer...and it's still being a turd. Am I missing something? PLEASE HELP! 

All the the thumbnails and previews come out as colour.When imported they convert to Black and White. There are no default settings that are set that make it turn automatically to B&W (import, develop etc).Has something been embedded pre-development? Thanks for your help!Tom

since the latest update, the app is crashing constantly for weeks

This weekend I took some time to really play with the newer HDR features that were released earlier this month. I'm getting a decent grasp on them, and the potential is very exciting. This is a feature I've been wanting for quite some time. I am running into one small issue, and was curious if anyone had any insight into it.    For what it is worth, I turned the toggle on to always edit photos in HDR if they have the HDR data in the file.   When I take a standard photo in iOS and edit it in Lightroom it goes into HDR mode, and looks very similar to the Photos app as a starting point. Exactly as I expect.   When I take in a ProRaw file, HDR mode is not automatically enabled, leading me to believe its not getting the HDR data. Yet when I view the ProRaw in Apple Photos the display clearly kicks into HDR mode more or less identical to how a HEIC capture looks. I can edit it to look more like the photo looks in Apple Photos, but I'd like my starting point to look like w

I'm importing photos from my camera roll to Lightroom mobile. Lightroom messes up the tint, it shows -150 yet is still magenta colored. I've seen this issue described in other forums but not sure how to fix. on Lr 10.3 

I am working on a Hyperlapse in Lightroom Mobile on my iPad Pro and I have my main photo edited how I would like it to look so when I copied the settings and then pasted them to the next photo, the one with the pasted settings doesn't look as vibrant as the "main" photo. I made sure to select all the boxes on the settings page that I wanted to be pasted onto the next image or images and it just doesn't look like the original at all. What would be causing this to happen? I will say at first I noticed I everything checked except masking. So I checked that box then attempted another copy and paste thinking the masking being selected this time would fix that and it didn't really change anything. I saw very little difference. Thoughts?

Hi, I forgot to cancel on time the subscription to Lightroom mobile but I would like to be refunded because I won't illuse the service. I cancelled on the apple subscription center but was not able to get refund. How can I apply for it? thanks L   {Thread title edited by Moderator} 

I'm using Lr Mobile more and more: import raw photos from Fuji X-T3 to Lr, edit and wait for syncing.On my iPhone 13 mini, this process is battery draining, slow and causing heating, but this workflow does work and is attractive while working smoothly. So I wonder if a better phone could improve the experience. If it's the imperfection of my iPhone 13 mini that causes the performance issue, then probably it's because of its smaller RAM (4GB) and smaller size that is not good for natural cooling. So I wonder if iPhone 15 pro or Samsum S24 could be an option. S24 has larger RAM (12 GB); will this make it better than iPhone 15 pro with 8GB RAM concerning Lr performance? Besides, does iOS / Android make a difference in Lr performance? Not many phone reviews include Lr performance, which is what I care much about. So I'm very willing to hear real-world experience. I would much appreciate any sharing.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe von einem Android Gerät zu einem I phone geweselt. Bei dem vorherigen Gerät wurden die bearbeiteten Bilder nach dem Aufnahmedatum sortiert und bei späterer Bearbeitung entsprechend eingefügt. jetzt bei dem I Phone ist das zuletzt bearbeitete Bild ganz oben. Ich finde keine Einstellung mit der ich das umstellen kann.diese Einstellung ist bei mir lediglich in der Übersicht zu finden, wo alle Fotos vom Gerät sind, aber nicht bei den bearbeiteten. ich finde es super nervig wenn man sich alte Bilder in der Galerie anschaut, irgendwo falsch drauf kommt und das zu den neuen Bildern nach ganz oben geschoben wird...  kann mir da jemand helfen? viele Grüße 

When I want to delete a photograph from Lightroom I don't want it to necessarily delete in my iCloud, but I just want it gone from Lightroom. How do I do that?

I got a new Samsung s24 ultra and have been taking pictures using the various lenses. I noticed super telephoto pictures I take crash if I open them in lightroom mobile and crop in too far. It causes the image to close and sometimes the app to stop responding. Everything else seems to edit fine, but cropping causes a crash. I un-installed and reinstalled but it continues to happen. Is this a bug in the app itself or is it one of my settings that is interfering or something else entirely?

Lightroom creative cloud does not allow subtraction of mask.

I deleted items from application support...apparently wasn't paying close enough attention to what I was deleting- and now Lightroom Classic won't import any images. I have tried everything. Reset preferences. Checked permissions. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Created a new catalog. What can I do? Please help!

How do I add previously added photos to my album please?   Photos are greyed out and won't allow me to re-add them... please help ?

After uploading several images to the Cloud, Lightroom "People" was able to find "some" faces. However, the people in the query all were taken during the same event. The images uploaded spans several years. One of the person who was overlooked and was in this event a in hundreds of other images over 25 years was missing. I have been using photomerge to blend panoramic sets of 9 photos taken with a DJI Mavic Pro and then straightening out the results with the adaptive wide angle filter in photoshop. It does a good job to start, then I adjust the rest by dragging out guides as needed. Recently, I've been trying to automate some of this workflow and tried using lightroom to stack the images and blend the panoramas instead of doing each individually in photoshop. The problem I've run into though is that the panoramas in lightroom don't look the same as the photomerged panoramas. Then the adaptive wide angle filter does not apply to the DNG files the same as the photomerged files and the dragged guides do not recognize the necessary edges (horizon, roof lines, sides of houses) in the DNG files for me to straighten the panoramas out appropriately. Is there a way to produce panoramas in lightroom identical to photomerged panoramas? if not, how can I apply the adaptive wide angle filter to merged DNG

Hello, ist it normal that thumbnails in Lightroom Mobile Apps look so blurry? See attached screenshots.It is independent from camera or file format. Even when i make a picture with my iPhone 13 and import it, it is blurry. In Device view everything looks fine, but in Lightroom Library View all thumbnails are blurry. Only when i select an image for editing the quality is fine.At Lightroom Desktop on Windows and Lightroom Web everything is working well.  Tested with:Lightroom for iPad v9.2 with iPad Air Gen5 and iPadOS 17Lightroom for iOS v9.2 with iPhone 13 wit iOS 17Lightroom for Android on Samsung Tab A8 with Android 13 It is not possbile to for me to check or cull images in gridview because of the low quality thumbnails.  

HiMy Lightroom keeps crashing since I uninstalled Photoshop. I am using Apple M1. It was working fine but now it crashes every two minutes

If you were a user of Adobe’s Creative Cloud Synced files (CCSF), by now you are aware that they discontinued that facility starting February 4, 2025 (originally February 1, 2024). In their post about this change, they advise that sync’d files left on CCSF after the date will be deleted and no longer accessible using the Creative Cloud Desktop / Asset manager. They kindly renamed the local directory to Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID>, and left any files in that directory intact. I was an early adopter of the CCSF facility, to support my Lightroom Classic usage. Summary: When I use the AI denoising feature and it generates a new DNG, the new DNG ought to be added to the same albums as the original.
