Photoshop

What is going on here? I can't change the rectangular marquee tool a specific ratio. The Width and Height fields are greyed out, and the Style dropdown options that are supposed to say "Ratio" has replaced with this "Generate image" nonsense, which is also greyed out.PLEASE FIX THIS!  

I had an action that included select all people but it doesn't work in the action in version 27.0.0. Tried to re-record again to no avail.  Just spinning wheel. No problem with selecting people out of the action. Anyone else have this? Windows 11 up to date.

Since the most recent update, when I go to use Enhance detail in Generative Fill I get one of two issues. If the area is too small, nothing happens. No message as before. As well, even with a large enough area, nothing happens or it lags for a long time before finally generating the enhanced layer. Hello, I am reporting a bug in the Czech localization of the Select Subject (Vybrat objekt) tool within the Quick Selection Tool options bar. The Problem: When I select the Quick Selection Tool and look at the "Select Subject" options dropdown, the choices are displayed as "zařízení" (device) and "mléčné" (dairy/milky). The option "mléčné" is a clear mistranslation. It should be "Cloud". Expected Options: Cloud / Zařízení (Device) Actual Options: mléčné / zařízení Context / Additional Information: In Preferences > Image Processing, the corresponding options are named "Stabilnější" (Stable / Cloud) and "Rychlejší" (Faster / Device), which confirms that "mléčné" is meant to be the Cloud option. I have already performed a clean reinstallation of Photoshop, but the error persists. Photoshop Version: 2026 (27.0.0) Operating System: Windows 11 Please can this be forwarded to the localization team for a fix in an upcoming update. Thank you.

I have a macbook and just recently updated from PS 2025 to PS 2026. I noticed I couldn't see any of my PSD files within the PS app, but I could see the files in my creative cloud. When I tried to create a new doc and save it, all I could see was a black screen without any prompts. I'm not sure what to do so if anyone's experiencing the same thing and has an answer PLEASE lmk. 

I am using the latest version of Ps 2026. I have a few plugins, like the panel from Raya Pro and from Lumenzia. As I updated Ps, I am unable to load these plugins properly. I have tried a number of times to uninstall and reinstall these plugins through Adobe CC, but nothing works. Whenever I click on these plugins, I get a small window completely grey, with nothing in it. I am enclosing a screenshot of the problem for the Lumenzia Basic Panel. Please help me resolve this problem, as all my work has been stuck, as these free panels are very important to my workflow..

Hello guys,I keep running into Error 54 with my photoshop whenever I try to use generative fill. I am updated to the lastest version (V.27), I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop, I have even gone to older versions of PS (I went back to V.26) and I am still getting the same issue.Running on macOS and updated to the latest OS Tahoe 26.1Any help or tips would be appreciated!Thanks,Byron

I don't know if this a bug or just a change Adobe made in the recent updates, but there is no longer a search bar in the window that pops up when you try to open a new file while within a file, which I do daily to grab elements from other designs i've made in the past. Now you have to scroll through years of designs to spot the one you want, or you have to close photoshop, open it again, then you can search there for the design you want, open it and then open the original file you were working on.Very very annoying.

Hallo, auf die Gefahr hin, dass ich mich gerade blöd anstelle: Wenn ich in Photoshop ein Element auswähle, (Text, Bild, Form egal) und einen Rechtsklick darauf mache, wird mir nicht mehr das übliche Kontextmenü angezeigt, sondern nur noch der Name von ein paar darunter liegenden Ebenen und die Option "Ebene isolieren" Bei  anderen Werkzeugen zb Textwerkzeug ist das Kontextmenü bei Rechtsklick ganz normal. Ich habe versucht alles mögliche zurückzusetzen, ich habe zwei verschiedene PS Versionen ausprobiert und unterschiedliche Dateien, den Rechner neu gestartet... es bleibt dabei. 

On PS 2025 Image Adjustmenmts Britness & Contrast do not respond to changes in real time. I must move the slider then click OK to see the result. This occured about 3 updates ago. & none of the obvious things  I've tried to fix it, work.  

I have just bough a new pc and installed Win 11 with Photoshop 27. My printer is a Canon i_SENSYS LBP 631Cw. No matter what button I click in Photoshop print meny, Photoshop crash. I don't get a crash report. I have tried all the solutions I could find in older threads here and other places (they are more or less the same) I have also reset my printer. Do anyone have any new ideas?

I can`t log into my profile, it`s says that the data couldn`t be loaded. I want to continue the subscription.

I have ugraded to Photoshop 2026 and the latest version of Lightroom Classic and am now getting the "The file could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop 2026 could not be launched." message when opening an image from LRC to Photoshop either via the "Edit in Photoshop 2026" option or "Open as Smart Object in Photoshop. I have uninstalled both programmes and reinsatlled with Photoshop first then LRC, to be honest I have done everything that was advised back in 2023 when I had the same issue. This is frustrating as it is a major part of a photographers workflow and I'm sure it isn't only me suffering with this iussue. 

Minor cosmetic bug, when editing guide color, the swatches on the popup menu don't all match the selected color picker color. Screenshots using Apple Digital Color Meter but the difference can be noted visually as well. Tested on macOS 26.1, PS 27.0.0. Not tested on Windows.   1. Create a document and add a guide. 2. Click with Move tool to select the guide and right-click to Edit 3. Note the color popup menu with a color swatch. Expected: colors should match between popup and color picker swatch Actual: colors don't match  

I am using Photoshop 27.0 on a Mac Book Pro (M1 Max chip) running Sequoia 15.5 OS. I have been using the up and down arrows in Curves for YEARS and just recently (maybe a couple weeks at the most) the up and down arrows to adjust the input and output numbers will not work on the INPUT number, but works fine on the OUTPUT number.  The number doesn't change.  When I use left and right arrows I cans see the cursor move to the left and right of the number.  If I type in a number (changing from 0) it still doesn't work. I have tried it also using the Curves adjustment layer as well as Curves and it the same issue for both. Up and down arrows work fine in Levels for both input and output. Not sure what has changed other than the normal Photoshop updates.  It is truly FRUSTRATING when you have been doing something for years and then out of the blue some change screws up your workflow!!!

 Hey, since the last update I can't see my saved files in the Save to Adobe Cloud Storage panel. I can only see in "Your files" all my folders, but no files. Even the files which are not in folders are not visible. I tried to create a "New Project" (here - Black Friday) but when I save my file, I cannot see any of my files!! i can see it when I open an existing file, in the PS homepage, or the open a file panel but I need to see it when I save. I only see folders, empty folders. It is very, VERY annoying to have to go back to the "Open a file" panel just to see it. Do I have to change something in my preferences or something?   Thanks.  

Hello,I started using the new photoshop version 27.0 and noticed some really annoying problems while using the "subject select (SS)" and "remove background(RB)" features from the taskbar, in some instances it just doesn't recognize images at all, images that it had no problem working on the previous version.At first I thought this was a problem after i rasterized the image, as soon as I imported and used SS or RB on the smart object it worked as expected. But if i rasterized the same image and then tried to use the same features, photoshop would select the outer bounds of the image imported.But after trying again on both smart objects and rasterized images i realized that the same thing happened with both types of layers.I also thought this might have been a problem with images generated with firefly, but again, i had the same problem with photos and other files that were not ai generated. Here is an example of the weird selection it made on non-generated image as a smart object l

Using Photoshop CC; on Windows 11 I have just switched from using Photoshop CS5 and Bridge, which I have been using since university more than a decade ago to now using Photoshop CC and Lightroom. I am working on compiling a photo book for a client and I shoot in raw. For my typical workflow, for every project I have a RAW folder with all photos, which I rate and then open the raws to edit. After edits, I save the edited file renamed into a Processed folder, so as to keep the RAW file in it's original state. After all processing has been done, I typically batch process the images into JPGS and have them save in a JPG folder for the project.  Problem: Trying to follow this workflow in the new Photoshop CC ecosystem seems to not work at all. I just spent all night editing 50 photos and saving them to a Processed folder, and while photoshop is open, I can see them there in Windows Explorer, but once I closed photoshop at the end of the night, all of my photos except for one

I'm having trouble accessing a cloud file that I just worked on 15 hours ago. It was all created with the latest, updated version of photoshop. I have not changed anything in my system, but I am no longer able to open this file. It's a .psdc file.   I've tried making it available offline only, online only, and downloading it to my desktop. I've tried opening it in the app, and in the browser directly. I've tried re-uploading it into the browser from my computer. I've uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop. I've updated my entire pc, and yes I've restarted everything in between all of this. I've tried everything I can think of.   I'm able to open all of my other files, except this one.   Here are two errors I'm seeing. This one directly in the app: "Couldn't open "[filename].psdc" because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop."   And this one in the browser version: The browser version get's close to opening it, I see the graphics, and then it

Vale, tengo un problema con Alt+Crtl+R (seleccionar y aplicar máscara). Cuando quiero usar el atajo, no hace nada. He intentado ponerla de nuevo en ''Métodos abreviados de teclado'' y he visto que cuando toco Ctrl, el alt no deja ponerlo. Cuando clicko el Alt no detecta nada. He probado a resetear los ajustes y sigue sin funcionar. He probado otros atajos con el Alt, tipo Alt y click derecho para hcer grande el pincel y si que funciona, tambien he probado otras funciones que impliquen Ctrl+Alt+Letra y estos si que funcionan. Alguien le ha ocurrido esto? Muchas gracias.

I can't quite pinpoint exactly when this issue started, but for a few weeks now it takes a good minute to load the "Export as" window. I am usually working with multiple artboards. I have never had this issue before and it used to load super quickly unless I'm working with 20+ artboards.  BONUS BUG: And if you select it twice before it loads, then it loads the artboards twice (e.g. in the list on the left it goes Artboards 1-10 and then again Artboards 1-10) and "Select all" ceases to work.
