Im aktuellen Photoshop habe ich nur bei einem nur bei einzigen JPEG eines Berufsfotografen Probleme, die ich bei andern JPEGS nicht habe.Der zu dunkle Anzug mit dem zu hellen Gesicht eines Pianisten kann ich mit Bild+Korrekturen+ Tiefen/Lichter nicht korrigieren.Problem: Falls ich Lichter abdunkeln auf 0 stelle und die Tiefen aufhelle, so wird das helle Gesicht noch heller!Nebenbei: Ich habe auch sonst einige neue «Fehlfunktionen» im InDesign und auch sonst auf meinem iMac (late2017, i7). Ich machte sogar ein Downgrade anach Sonoma, da Ventura zuviele Probleme lieferte. Apple zwang mich letzhin, nun doch auf Ventura zu updaten, was ich tat. Ich liess vor 2 Jahren meinen iMac im Rep-Service leer testen und man fand nichts, meinte aber, es gäbe auch andere Nutzer, die mit dem i/ Chip Probleme haben.Ich lege das betreffende Foto des Berusfotografen bei. I found a discussion on Reddit that was 4 years old talking about how they couldn’t render video with Bridge open. This is still happening today with the latest 2026 software.  Is there a more elegant solution to this silliness?

After the 14th, my Photoshop stopped starting up. It's the latest version and, out of the blue, sometimes it opens, and when it does, the toolbar has no icons, or it opens, freezes, and closes without giving me any options.The only way I can force the program to start is to reset the preferences with Shift+Ctrl+Alt and click on the program icon. This way it opens, but if I close Photoshop, it crashes again at the start, and obviously constantly resetting the preferences is not ideal.In addition to version 27, I have the beta installed.Any suggestions for starting the shipping version?

Hi All-I teach a PS class at an art school. We have students attending in person and via zoom from various places in the US. Last week PS 2025 Neural Filters were creating odd results: hair thickness, smile, and various other face oriented filters were resulting in odd mask like replacements of the face and odd clown like replacements of hair.  Has this happened to anyone else?Best-TA

 Hello, in Photoshop update 27 the "log errors to file" command stopped working. Even when active, when running batch actions the program displays dialogs and interrupts their execution instead of writing to the log.

this first started happening when I tried to reduce my image size and has continued to happen when I tried to duplicate a layer or create a smart object

I just updated my Photoshop 25.12.0 to the new 26.0 version on macOS 15. In every previous October release for as long as I can remember, like ALL of Creative Cloud, the old Adobe Photoshop 2024 folder would be left in place that contained brushes, actions, scripts, etc. that had been added to the previous version and then i could manually drag those over to the new Photoshop 2025 folder. However this release, the entire folder was removed. It doesn't put it in the trash its completely removed. I have a back up so I can go in and retreive what was wiped out but on my other machine I'm making backups of the plugins and presets before updating.  This happened for Illustrator as well (so will post this there as well). My After Effects however did retain the old folder so I could grab what was in there.  I'm marking this as a bug for now.

The current "Export As" feature does not produce reduced-size PNGs as good as the previous, now legacy, "Export As" did. The old version produced indexed-looking PNGs without them actually being indexed, and it preserved full alpha transaprency, all while maintaining a smaller file size than the current version's output. Here is an example image I produced.Just a standard color gradient with a fading black gradient on the left (to produce more colors) and a transaprent mask on the right. Using the current Export As, this is what I get:Transaprency is 1-bit, eseentially cutting the image in half. There is also notable dithering and banding to the image from the indexing. File size is 41.3 KB. Using the legacy Export As, this is what I get:Still some dithering, but the color reduction algorithm generally produces better-looking results more closely matching the original. Also, full alpha transparency is supported, retaining the faded edge. File size is 36.3 KB.  

I had to roll back to 25.7 because export scaling at 3x looks horrendous in all later version. Here are my export settings and what it looks like in 26.2 comparted to 25.7.   Please fix this issue.

Photoshop 26.8.1 - Windows and Mac When importing Patterns, there is now a number appended to the end of the folder name which is causing issues

I am trying to create something and realized once I start typing something It locks me out of editing the text. If I write "-100" without spaces, I can go back and edit the minus to + or just simply delete the -BUT if I put a space between the - or + and the rest of the text, it will lock the - or + and I can ONLY edit the rest of the text. I can not change the - or +. It just stays there and no way to edit that or delete it.It can be any text after - or +it can be letters numbers. don't matter. But it's ok to write another symbol like @ then space and other letters. I can type %100. Then put a space: % 100. No issues so far. I can change the % to + like this keeping the space: + 100 and I can still edit the + symbol. as soon as I add an extra space it will again lock the + symbolAdobe Photoshop Version: 27.0.0 20251015.r.25 d1c1320 x64 (final, Release)

Just installed version 26.11 on Windows 10 and Photoshop is freezing on reading brushes, have already tried manually resetting the preferences, uninstalling version 26.11 and deleting the Adobe Photoshop 2025 folder from the appdata folder, reinstall version 26.11 same issue. Reverted back to version 26.10, and it's working fine.  

  Hi Guys Please tell me if I am missing something or if this is a bug in the new february update ? When using the refine edge tool I have started getting these square pixelated edges and this never used to happen. All of my settings are the same as i have always used.  all sliders set to 0 object aware selected not color aware decontaminate colours is not selected. im using apple M1 Max with 64GBmemory  Photoshop is current version and up to date as of today 8/3/22

As of the latest version of Photoshop (v24.4.1), the curves adjustment layer is very laggy and unresponsive -- especially when using a stylus. It's extremely frustrating. What happens is when I click to add a point on the 'graph' it's serverly delayed and doesn't add a point. Normally I can immedietly click and drag the point to where I need, but when I try this now nothing happens because it won't make the point. Then it finally makes the point and lags really far behind where I adjust it to be. Every time I try moving any points it's super laggy and terrible. It's not my computer either. I have a ridiculously good computer.   I've restarted Photoshop and my computer. No dice. This is a major issue and needs to be fixed.

I have created videos using Photoshop for the past 8 years or so (Windows 10). Never had any issues. Until today. First I noticed I could no longer render videos as the option Adobe Media Encoder is disabled in the render video dialog. Then I updated to version 25.11. Now even the option to add video layers is disabled (i wanted to add a new video layer from file). I can still add time lines via the motion view, but, when I try to render a video, the Adobe Media Encoder option is disabled like before. The last time I rendered a video was end of May. Then everything worked just fine. Why are those options no longer available?  

I keep gettting the following error when I launch Photoshop 2020 on a Windows 10 64bit machine   This Face Expression File is bad or corrupted   I assume it relates to the Default Face Expression Presets.p3f file, which a scan reveals to be OK. The application launches after I click OK but how can I get rid of the error?   I have reinstalled, tried the clean up tool and there has even been an update since it started but still it persists. Is there anywhere I can find a replacement file?   Thanks in advance   Steve    

In Photoshop version 27.0, I can't use ctrl+z in the color balance section and it doesn't work..

In Photoshop 26.11 on Windows 11, the Depth Blur neural filter is broken. It refuses to do anything. It just puts up a message (at the top of the filter panel) saying the filter has been disabled due to an error.   I reverted to 26.10 and the filter works in that version.

Since a few days, Photoshop freezes each time when using image --> adjustments --> Replace color. I'm on Windows 11. I tried on the PC of someone else, and got the same issue. Anyone else encountering this problem? Any suggestions how to fix it?
