Hi, See attached .psd file, generated by PTGui. It contains an XMP section with the following GPS location: <exif:GPSVersionID>2.2.0.0</exif:GPSVersionID><exif:GPSLatitude>51,55.8650N</exif:GPSLatitude><exif:GPSLongitude>4,28.2967W</exif:GPSLongitude>Photoshop's File - Info shows this incorrectly as 51.0 and 4.0. I think the XMP data is formatted according to spec:GPSCoordinate A Text value in the form “DDD,MM,SSk” or “DDD,MM.mmk”, where: DDD is a number of degrees MM is a number of minutes SS is a number of seconds mm is a fraction of minutes k is a single character N, S, E, or W indicating a direction (north, south, east, west) Leading zeros are not necessary for the for DDD, MM, and SS values. The DDD,MM.mmk form should be used when any of the native EXIF component rational values has a denominator other than 1. There can be any number of fractional digits.​

 I bought some Grut Brushes awhile ago, and now I have hundreds of brush tip shapes in my Brush Settings; is there any way to organize them? I don't know how they are currently organized, doesn't appear to be alphabetical or any other way I've noticed, and there will be multiples of the same brush tip with just different sizes dozens of spots away from each other. IE: "Grut - PT Pebbles 03" is 30 spots away from "Grut - PT Pebbles 02". I wanted to play around with these and create my own brushes but they are extremely diffcult to navigate, or am I completely mistaken and that's not what these are there for?  

Hi Everyone,This crashing has been happening since I started using the AI type features like Deghost or any masking that uses the AI component.  I've been cruising all of the Crash posts and have tried everything mentioned with no success so now I need help.  I am running on Windows 11 ver 24H2.  Things I have done; 1. Made sure just one GPU is available - new nVidia RTX 5060 - Compatible.2. Downloaded newest Photoshop 26.13. Updated Bridge and Creative Cloud4. Updated nVidia Driver to latest.5. Deleted all preferences on Camera Raw6. Checked for available memory with no issues - 32GB installed7. No other conflicting TSR or start-up programs that are monitoring file changes.8. Confirmed that photoshop.exe and sniffer.exe is listed under the 3D programs within nVidia control panel Please let me know if I've missed something that I should have also checked.  I attach the System info dump from Photoshop below; Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.10.0 202508

I have just bought a new MS Surface Book 2 and the Surface Pen. Had installed Photoshop and TabletPro/. it works ok in overall usage, but, a have a great problem using it in my Photoshop. When I use a stamp tool I need to use ALT button a lot. And, unfortunately, it doesn't work in photoshop correctly. Do you have a solution to this problem? thnx

My brushes keep disappearing, for absolutely no reason. It's the second time this has happened. It's not now blank and i have no idea how to get them back.

In Clip Studio and Illustrator CS6 too, there’s a very convenient copy and paste function like Ctrl+C copies selected layers and folders to a clipboard, and Ctrl+V pastes them exactly in place. This is especially useful if I forget to save the original image. For example, I can copy the current state of a layer or group of layers with Ctrl+C, then go back to an earlier point in my workflow and paste the layers I’ve been working on, almost like a time machine. Photoshop CS6 doesn’t have this. Does anyone know of a script that can achieve the same thing?

This might be a simple question, I don't know, but I use to be able to select a layer beneath another with the move tool. Now I can't. I was trying to figure this out on Chat GPT, but it kept saying to select the "Auto-select" check box in the options bar. The problem is, I'm not seeing it there (or in the three dots, or in the gear icon). So how to I turn the Auto-select back on? Thanks!

So I know how to create a path and type along the path, but then the text is just all kinds of messed up, typing backwards, half the words showing up on the bottom of the curved path I'd made. What am I doing wrong here?

hi, In ps2025 (26.7.0), when exporting a layer as a jpg file using the right-click menu, the color may change or the image may become brighter.Sometimes when I right-click on a group to export, it gets messed up and only one layer within the group is exported.

Hello, I am currently using the 20GB Adobe plan on two personal computers, and I also have a perpetual license for Photoshop CS5, which I use on a separate work computer (different device). Recently, the desktop computer I used for work suddenly broke down. As a result, I wasn’t able to deactivate Photoshop CS5 on that machine before it became unusable. I installed Photoshop CS5 from the original CD on a new work computer, and it worked fine for a few days. However, now I’m getting a message saying that the license is already in use on two computers, and I can no longer use it. Since I can’t access the original work computer to deactivate it, I’m looking for advice.Is there any way to deactivate Photoshop CS5 from the previous (now unusable) computer? Thank you in advance for your help!

 Is there an option to change what file tab displays? Or set width?My patience is over...Is there an option to choose the displayed info? Let's pretend, that I know in other ways on witch layer I'm on, at what zoom size I currently work and in what color mode...  can I disable displaying of it on my files tabs?! Isn't the whole deal of tabs is working on multiple of them?! Would you use a browser with tabs, which displays Page zoom level, the full title and lead of the column you are reading and some other worthless information, which blocks you from seeing at least four of your other tabs? Is there an option to set tab width? If, it's too hard for Adobe to make these check boxes in UI preferences, then maybe there's a simple option... a slider for tab width? The default would be checked at auto, but if the user doesn't want to see all the [removed], he can manually slide the width of a tab to lover value? Hi there.   I've been trying to work with multiple selected layers, but I don't know how to do it. If I select multiple layers, app.activeDocument.activeLayer only returns  the topmost one.   By the way, I'm looking for a way of doing it without using all that low level ActionReference stuff. It really clutters up the code and it's very hard to understand.   Thanks.

I don't know why, but Photoshop simply won't launch now. I tried launching in 2025 and in beta, but nothing happens. I'm running Windows 11 Home on a PC. Need this resolved asap please. 

I have a friend that does watercolours. I want to take her image and remove the background altogether so that I can have a solid white background. Now the lighter version jpg attached, the backgound doesn't look bad but if you check the darker version you can see how bad it really is. Since the image is a watercolour, without clearly defined edges, it there any easier way than to  darken the image and then painstakingly erasing the background? Bob

Hi, Thanks to all who took part in our previous challenge, there were some great ideas to hide the cellphone mast.    This week we have something a bit different. I made this cell like pattern in Adobe Substance 3D Designer. It was for a different purpose and was made with a full set of 3D maps to use as a material. I wondered though what this group could make with the Base Colour map? So here it is. You could use all of it, part of it, or tile it (it was made to tile) and use the extended pattern to make something new.   When you post your response can you add just a few words on how you went about it. It may help others see the potential of different approaches, software, and tools to such a challenge. The “rules”: Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry. I am having an compatibilty issue with updating Photoshop and Illustrator. I have a Surface Windows 11 Pro version 24H2 and the Creative Suite keeps saying I need to update to Windows 10 verison 22H2 or later. Anyone have insight?

I just downloaded teh Lr & Ps app on my Laptop and I am have trouble installing Topaz plug-ins.  I contacted Topaz and they gave be instuctions.  They said I needed to go to "Edit>Preferences>Plug-ins" they also mentioned that I needed to verify thatthe "Additional Plug-ins Folder" was enabled.  I cannot locate that.  Anyone know were I can find that?

Hello everyone,I'm currently facing an issue in Photoshop related to color profiles. When I open different files with the same color profile, the colors inexplicably seem to change. This affects the quality of my work, and I can't quite understand why this is happening.Thank you in advance for your help!

My colors are looking washed out on my Dell monitor, accurate yellows in Quicklook preview (right), inaccurate colors in PS (left) I am using sRGB: SPECSIntel Core i9-14900HXNVIDIA GeForce RTX 406064GB DDR5 RAM1TB SSDAll latest Adobe/Win11Pro/and video driversDELL SE2419HR 24" Additionally, if I press Win+P to bring up display settings and enable extended monitors, to extend my screen onto my Asus ROG Strix G16 laptop screen, suddenly the Dell monitor wakes up and shows accurate colors. The moment I disable the laptop screen, the Dell goes back to washed out colors.

Image not aligned with side on 7x10 greeting card when printing from Adobe Photoshop on my MacBook Air to a Canon Pixma Pro-200s printer. No alignment issues when printing on my cheap Canon Pixma 3620, or when using Canon Professional layout &Print software. Anyone know why I get this problem using Photoshop? I really would prefer to print directly from Photoshop instead of having to open a separate program after editing. I'm setting the correct ICC and paper size on both my Photoshop and printer. 

Hello,We have a problem with a CMYK compositing file that contains an RGB Smart Object.The delivered image is in "Coated Fogra 39 L."It contains a Smart Object. When I open it, I see that it's eciRGB V2. The profile is embedded, and my RGB working color space is also eciRGB V2.However, the opened Smart Object looks different in color and doesn't match the composition. If I change something in the Smart Object, e.g., create an empty layer, the colors in the composition change. Even if I don't open the Smart Object at all, but just scale it slightly, the colors change. As soon as the Smart Object is recalculated, the colors change. Unfortunately, rasterizing the Smart Object isn't an option for us.Unfortunately, I can't find the reason for this behavior. Our customer, who created and delivered the image, doesn't have this problem. At first I thought it was an error or bug in the image, but I don't think so anymore.
