Photoshop

I am having an issue with the ruler tool in photoshop. It measures to 2 decimal places (i.e. 457.61) until it reaches a 4 digit number where it stop being as precise (i.e 4147...). I need to measure more precisely. This is not happening across acocunts, only on one computer, Photoshop V25.9 on a WIndows 11 PC.

Cannot Pan/Scroll with Wacom pen in Open/Save/Place type file dialogue windows in mmany if not all of Adobe apps (where every other non-Adobe app I know of does, Apple and other 3rd parties), obviously this pertains to when you've mapped a Wacom pen button to pan/scroll to use in that manner (Wacom settings screen attached).What should happen is being able to interact similar to touch omnidirectional swiping which includes vertical mouse-like scrolling when pressing the button and making contact with the pen, as would be expected and Wacom designed it to do.What instead happens: Adobe apps interpret this as a Quick Look request on click of whatever file is targeted by cursor at the time. This defers from every system norm elsewhere on macOS, 1st and 3rd party. If someone has a link to a basic explanation of proper workflow for fonts in PS CC, can you please share? I never had issues with the standalone PS, but the CC version is mystifying to me. I'm on a mac, using the latest everything I think. The regular "Your Fonts" works fine as it always has, but the use of "More Fonts" baffles me. I create a PS doc, I choose a font from More Fonts, write something, it's great. I save it.I open PS again a day later, the doc looks great, all the fonts are the same. BUT if I try to edit those text layers, the fonts are "Missing" so I can't modify anything. Clearly, the fonts are there, because the text looks exactly correct and PS identifies them correctly. I don't want to replace them with Myriad Pro (the only option in the dialog box). I can create a new text layer, choose the More Fonts font again and write it again no problem. More Fonts seems to work fine so long as I dont quit PS, but if I do, those type layers become uneditable beca

I'm a photographer and longtime Adobe user, but I’ve become increasingly frustrated with the monthly limit of just 250 credits regardless of actual usage is far too restrictive for the price we pay. What’s more frustrating is that there’s no option to purchase additional credits; the only path is to upgrade to a higher-tier plan, which feels unnecessary and inflexible. I’d love to hear what alternatives others are exploring

Hi,just got 26.2 and hoping after 30 years of pshop use, CS6 my current weapon,  for intelligent means of painting along a line and Adobes 'AI' assesses what is either side and matches up the pattern, be it brickwork mortar, or roof tile pattern etc.healing brush , no use, pattern doesnt match.have I overlooked any settings ?Having to manually do it brick by brick, tile by tile,There must be hundreds of such edits happening each day, so where is the tool ? Merlin3

"I added a mask to the group in Photoshop, and there are many layers inside the group. I want to apply the mask from the group to all layers inside the group with one click. How can I copy the mask to all layers, or is there a plugin that can achieve this? Why hasn't the Adobe team implemented such a simple feature of copying and pasting masks individually?"

I have a PS file that has about 30 photos all arranged in little columns and rows. Each photo has text associated with it, a name and a date. Every photo and every bit of text is on it's own layer. Is there a way for Photoshop to take all these layers and just scramble them up/randomly distribute them? I've seen stuff about Random Fill, but I don't think that's what I want. And I've seen stuff about creating your own paintbrush, but I don't think that's what I want either. I want whatever the Photoshop equivalent is of nicely lining up a bunch of stuff on the bottom of a box, putting the lid on, and then shaking it. Is that even possible?

 My project has gone completely blank although all my layers are still there. I've tried searching it up to fix the problem but nothing is working. How do i fix it?

Hey guys, ive got a wacom 1 tablet and pen, worked for years but now whenever im in photoshop, put my pen down, draw and then lift my pen, photoshop will not register that my pen is there at all. I have completely updated app and drivers, im on windows, and my tablet works perfectly fine on all other apps on my pc. ive tried reseting preferences on photoshop and fiddling around with turning off and on my windows ink. Please help me out and find out what is making photoshop act weird on me.

Hi, guys,I've been trying to save a pdf for a few hours now.  What happens is it says it can't save to a location due to a program error.It will save jpg, png, psd, etcetera, but will not save a PDF at all.  I tried disabling the Preserve Photoshop Editing Capabilities, but that didn't work, either.  It was working fine a few hours ago when I saved a PDF and now it refuses.  I'm not entirely sure what I've done.So I checked the error report and this is what it says:2010:08:22 01:34:25 : ..\..\sources\UTextFace.cpp : 1276 : REQUIRE failedI have no idea what that means.  Anyone?

I recently needed to do the following with javascript Detect if a layer has a mask applied. If the layer has a mask, select the pixels of that mask (as if using Ctrl/Cmd + LMB on the mask icon in the Layers panel). The following code was successful, so I'm sharing it in case it becomes useful to anyone else. Hi Everyone! For anyone out there who is very knowledgeable about the different techniques to make selections in Photoshop, whether it involves the Pen Tool, Channels, Calculations, Creating Contrasts, etc.  What would you suggest is the best method to use to make a clean isolation of the mail trucks in these photos? Also, do you see the area where the wheels are, and how difficult it is to distinguish between the wheels and the dark shadow region where the ground is? What is the best way to increase the contrast in that dark area so that I can make a clean selection of the mail truck?  I would highly appreciate any feeback from anyone. Thank you enormously!!! Since the latest update I'm experiencing multiple issues. The magnetic lasso tool locks up the program, my Info window doesn't show up on the workspace, some images open with Camera Raw and on other occaions Camera Raw will not open. That's all I've discovered so far. Help?

Trying to learn how to create a gradient in my text and all of the instructional videos show a gradient box in the Gradient Overlay section in Blending Options and I don't have that. I have version 26.9 photoshop. Can anyone help?

I was done editing the raw version of a photo when I wanted to open the next photo. This new photo was also in raw, but it didn't open as a raw, instead it opend as the jpeg version of that photo. I tried opening it a few more times, but it still only opend as a jpeg version and yet the file name in photoshop was CR3. Next I tried opening other photo's yet the same happend once again. I also tried opening raw files on my laptop to look if it had anything to do with my computer, instead of photoshop itself, but yet again the same thing happend. The problem can not be the files themself, because if I open them on my computer (so not in photoshop) they open as a raw. Does anyone know what I can do to get photoshop to open my raw files as raw files again? ( I already tried to google the problem but couldn't find my specific problem or a solution)

I'm not making this a bug . . .  yet. Is this how PS always worked? I have not used Photoshop (now at 26.8.1) in a long time, so maybe my memory is simply flawed. On any file, select Image > Canvas Size. It starts with values in the width and height fields. The "Relative" option should be off (at least, it is on my Mac). Finally, enable "Relative".PROBLEM: The Width and Height fields change to zero.At least I THINK that is a problem. What I mean by that is I could swear by my left lung that the numbers did not become zero. All that option would do is keep the size ratio the same by making the adjustment of one field automatically adjust the other field. 

Is there any different meaning to Raster & Pixel word? in my view both has same meaning. But Pixel is a technical name & Raste is a general name.  

Is there any way to make an existing image look like pewter? I've seen AI generated images with a beautiful, bas-relief pewter look, but I need a way to make an existing drawing or photo look like a pewter medallion. Is the any filter or effect that can do that?

I created a PSD for real estate photos & marketing that I reuse over and over again. Just recently started having an issue upon opening. The 'Adjustment' panel at the top right does not populate, then after a few seconds the PSD shuts down & crashes. It keeps doing this over & over when trying to open. However, when I open again, same response, the 'Adjustment' panel is not populating, but if I put my mouse pointer over 'Adjustment' & click once it will populate after a few seconds & I'm able to use the PSD. I do real estate photography & built my photo editing pc. Everything is up to date, Windows 11, Lr & Ps, etc...The pc operates great no other issues just with Ps. I've created a PSD for real estate that happens to be a bit large, 775MB's. The PSD has many grouped items that overlay on top of other layers for advertising's, banners, headers, post cards, mailings, RE symbols, informational windows, etc... If I'm editing a portrait and want to change the background to black, I tell Gen Fill/Firefly 3 'Dark, solid, even black background,' it often produces a bright sunny landscape or even a white background! Sometimes it's just a mixed up bright pattern. What gives? Any suggestions? Seems like this should be simple...

Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable"As far as I know, any Windows update had been installed on the last week, so is not result of an update of the systemIt is possible to get suport or instructions from Adobe offices?  

In Photosho’s Image Size function, there is a selection of presets provided by Photoshop, and the user is able to save their own presets. How to fetch the user created presets and the Adobe provided ones? Please help!
