Default install when I first started using a file or created from scratch the Brush Tool would allow me to select it in the tool bar; however when using on an image of any kind it fails to output any pixels. Suggestions? Due know that the Seagate Portable Drive is for Scratch Disk tasks/use.
Dear Adobe, give us access to Photoshop 25.9.0, everything above that is buggy, not useful and terrible
Hi, I have the paid licensing key for Imagenomic, Portraiture 4. This past Friday my PS kept crashing at random- i have more than enough storage, I went between updating my PS version to installing a bit of a later version, I decided on v 24.7.1 since my coworkers have it and is working great for them. After uninstalling and settling on said version, my Portraiture 4 will no longer work- any time I go in to enter the licensing key it randomly will say its either expired or needs an update despite downloading the latest updated Portraiture 4 plug in directly for Imagenomic, I've also noticed that both my History Brush and Eraser are super slow and lag, I literally watch my screen/history tabs slowly update after using the tool on the areas. Imagenomic hasn't responded to my email so my coworkers and I are at a loss, the key isn't shared, I have ample space on the laptop and have uninstalled/installed both action and PS multiple times now. Does anyone have any suggestions? TI
Hello. The context task bar in Photoshop v.26.8.0 is not fully displayed (looks like it's cut off), the other panels are fine. This bug is observed at a monitor 27" with resolution of 2560 x 1440px, scaling 100%. (this problem was not observed on the monitor 24" Full HD). Changing the settings of the Photoshop interface parameters does not change anything. Resetting the program settings also does not change anything. System Windows 10 x64 22H2, GPU RTX3050 with the latest driver for now NVIDIA Studio Driver 576.80. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi everyone,I heavily rely on the Artboards feature to manage multiple layouts within a single document, and it provides great convenience for my workflow. However, for a long time now, it has suffered from severe bugs, optimization flaws, and performance bottlenecks. Furthermore, many of the newer features added to Photoshop do not work properly within artboards. The lack of attention to these issues in recent updates makes it feel like the developer team has neglected this core feature.Below is a detailed breakdown of the structural bugs I’ve encountered. If you are experiencing the same bottlenecks, please comment and upvote to bring this to the development team's attention. I sincerely hope it gets fixed soon.Although I am not an app developer, I have been using Photoshop's artboards feature for a long time, and I believe the root of all these problems lies within how the system operates.Behind the scenes, Photoshop treats a document with multiple artboards as a single, gigantic ca
I have been fighting trying to print large files true to scale for a month now and I’m at my wits’ end. I have set the printer and Photoshop options to print at 100% and scale to fit is not activated. You can see these settings here:All looks right. In a perfect world, this would indicate that the file gets printed at the size it’s made (in this case, 14.25” wide by 13.75” tall), spanning across as many pages as necessary (in this case, four - that’s how it always printed with Paint until Microsoft released an update that royally broke it).Instead, this is what I get:That entire large file gets confined to ONE piece of paper. Can someone explain what in the name of all that is hot pink is going on??? Why is it so difficult to print something true to scale? I’ve put the exact same file in Acrobat, thinking the splicing feature would help… no, in that case, the opposite happens - 100% means print 4 pages across 16, meaning everything is massive and once again not true to scale. PLEASE HE
Hi, I experienced this 3 times today and as a consequence had to shut down Photoshop using task manager each time, losing my unsaved work by doing so… I’m not sure if this is related exclusively to the last update but on Photoshop 27.7, the software freezes when i try to drag a layer from one file to another. I experienced that with a 600 ppp resolution if it helps.
thank you
Disable the bizarro pulsating blue ring around the ‘lightbulb’ icon in Photoshop 2026. In addition to being distracting (and annoying), this ring also keeps pulsating above some other apps when leaving Photoshop.More info here:https://community.adobe.com/topic/show?tid=1178717&fid=712
Hello. This message starts to pop up now with using GenAI tool (Photoshop beta and 26.7.0, both version) "You don't have enough credits for this generative action. Upgrade your Firefly plan now to get more credits for continued access or wait until your monthly reset."I have the annual subscription (renewed several days ago) and 250 credits included into this plan. Usually when all credits are gone, GenAI just continue to work slower, but there wasn't any block to use this tool. Are there any new rules/tariff changes for using this tool?
Recently I have found out some color differences between Win 11 and macOS 26 and I dont know what's wrong. Not sure, but I would say it was OK some time ago. Both systems use same updated PS 27.7. Both of them use EIZO CG with absolutely same calibration setup.Color settings in PS is also same.So I would expect very similar look of images. But on macOS images are displayed much more saturated, then on Win11. It means when I start editing on Win11, it is very hard to continue on macOS. Do you have anyone any idea, what could be reason?
I simply cant click on any on the tools like text or paint brush
Trying to save out some images from a slice with the export for web function but the software seems to be spitting out GIFs all the time. I've tried outputting JPEG and PNG but the export function will only give me GIF format files. Is anyone else having this issue? Edit: To be more clear, when I select JPEG it exports the images, but the file types are GIF instead of JPEG. This is the same for PNG.
I finally trusted myself enough to pause my older computer’s installation of PS CS5 and successfully installed CS5 to my newest, much faster computer. Several questions and one issue.First the issue, although the program responds and downloads the updates found under Help/Updates it will not install them. It appears to try but fails. A screen shot is attached.Failed AttemptI’m at a loss to understand what I need to do now. On another note I’d really like to increase the display of the menu on top and the side panel actions if possible. Thanks for any assist.
When you mask a group, then unlink a group from the mask and moving this group around on the canvas, the content in the mask is not refreshing, you have to “shake it” to force it to refresh.can you please fix that?
Adobe, a request for you please. A request born from two decades of working with applications, application developers, and application error messages: Please, for the love of God, when you present an error to a user, make sure that error is accurately descriptive. For the exorbitant rates we pay to use this software, the least you can do is not pepper it with error messages that waste our time in addition to our money. To wit: this afternoon I spent over an hour fighting the sudden appearance of an error message when trying to open .webp files (which were working fine yesterday, then suddenly not fine today). Various iterations of this message included: First, out of the blue: "Could not load the user measurement scale presets file becasue Photoshop does not recognize this type of file". Then after resetting my measurement scales to the defaults: "Could not import the clipboard file becasue Photoshop does not recognize this type of file"
In every version of Photoshop I’ve used since Save for Web was introduced, you’ve been able to use the eye dropper tool to select a color in the Color Table (visible for GIF and PNG-8 formats), allowing you to locate, lock / unlock colors, etc. This no longer works.I’m using version 27.7.0 on Mac.
Do I need to register my Photoshop Extended CS6 or just carry on using it as is? it is a perpetual EULA but want to make sure I can continue using when they discontinue it
Dear Adobe Support Team,My name is Kamal Abdel Nasser, and I’m passionate about video editing and digital design. I truly love Adobe products — especially Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects — and I’m working hard to make video editing my future career. Unfortunately, my current laptop cannot run the latest versions of these applications due to limited hardware specifications. I would really appreciate if you could guide me on how to legally access or subscribe to older versions (such as 2017 or earlier) from official or trusted sources. I’m willing to pay a monthly subscription for these older versions, as buying a new high-end laptop is not affordable for me right now. Thank you very much for your time and understanding. I’m looking forward to your kind support and advice.
I edit real estate photos and replace ugly grey New Zealand skies all the time. I have a library of about 500 skies that I’ve uploaded to Adobe. When I hit F7 the default is always the top sky in my box. I scroll down till I find a suitable one (e.g. sky 365). But when it’s not looking good and I want to choose another sky, I don’t want to scroll from the top sky again, rather carry on from sky 365. This is wasting a lot of time. Simply changing the colour around the last sky selected from blue to something bright, like red, will go a long way.
Ability to purchase an (additional) ‘block’ of AI Credits without having to upgrade your plan.Normally I find my current plan gives me enough AI credits for my needs. However very occasionally I have a project that requires a few more than my normal monthy ‘allowance’ under my plan.It would be really useful to be able to buy a block of additional credits that could be added as required.
All these years of using Photoshop and I don't ever recall having this problem before? But when I go 'File / Export As / jpeg' it converts the image to RGB when exporting it. I understand I can instead use 'Save As', but jpeg isn't listed unless I flatten the file first. It just seems messy to have to flatten everything, then save it, and then undo the flattenning so that i dpn't accidentally overwrite the file. Surely there is a better way?
The image here is not from my pc, I found it online to help illustrate my problem.I do not know Photoshop well at all, I have only recently begun to use it, so I am a beginner. My problem is that eventhough I have turned off auto-save shown above, it still automatically saves the file I am working on. Perhaps every 15 minutes or so. It slows down my pc tremendously. I want to turn off auto-save. I thought I had, but it still on. I searched online for how to turn off the auto-save and did that and have not changed any other settings. I checked earlier today and the auto-save box is not checked. What is wrong? Only yesterday I finally found out how to upload a file to the Cloud and did it with this very large file that I am working on. It is currently 10GB. Before I did that I saved it and opened it on my pc, which is older, and may not be powerful enough for PS, but it has the minimum specifications needed for it. When I worked on the file which I have on the pc, it was slow, but not a
