Hi, Thanks to everyone who took part in our last 'Blast Off' challenge.    This weekend, we leave industry behind and move to open spaces. 'These mist covered mountains...', sang Mark Knopfler in Brothers in Arms. Well we have our own mist covered mountains here which, I hope, are more peaceful than those in the song. Why can't I use generative fill? It was working fine before. I just had a problem yesterday, even though the internet was working fine. Please advise me on how to fix it.

I've been having issues lately with my bluetooth mouse freezing whenever Photoshop or Lightroom are open. My laptop touchpad mouse works fine, but my bluetooth mouse periodically stops working for a few seconds - only if Photoshop or Lightroom are open. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my bluetooth mouse as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the apps, with no fix. I'm unsure how these apps could be affecting bluetooth connectivity. Has anyone ran into this issue before? Thanks.

Hello guys,recently I wanted to do some pixel art, yet i encountered something weird in the latest version. When i set grid lines to be every 1 pxthe grid was actually smaller. Grid doesn't match neither guides set to be exactly 1 px, nor marquee tool or the default Photoshop pixel grid which are obviously showing pixels perfectly.Doesn't make sense to me and couldn't find way to fix this issue so far, any ideas (restarting / new project didn't help) ?Thank you for any clue!

I needed to convert the color profile of my image from ProPhoto RGG to Adobe RGB.  However doing so flattened my image - or appeared to.  Why is this? Thanks.

I'm currently on a Mac, version Photoshop version 22.5.9, but the behavior is the same on prior versions. Is it possible within 'Preferences' to eliminate the  empty Photoshop "workspace" (MIGHT be what it's called) that lingers after you close down any or all Photoshop documents.  There was a time when, after you closed the last Photoshop file you were working on, Photoshop would allow you to "see" you Mac desktop at that point.  I want to go back to that point.  I stronly prefer not to always have to look for an click off of the remaining work area little red 'close' button every time. Thanks.

Hi.This may be a silly question, but can I import presets into photoshop, the same as I can into LR?This is things like B&W , Landscape, Portrait adjustments etc.And if so, how do I do it?Cheers.Steve.

Trying to change text to shape as i always uses to. on every font, on the text layer when i click on text/change to shape, i get an error of"could not transform because the type layer uses a faux bold style"

Hello!My problem is that since a few months ago after an update to Photoshop (i waited maybe it gets fixed but its not) i encountered a problem that makes my workflow harder.When i lock a layer and i want to recolor something, it no longer uses the primary color. On the example below you can see my primary color is white and secondary is yellow. I lock the layer and start painting and it uses the yellow instead of the white!It is a very huge pain if i lock a layer and start painting realistically in it, and i constantly color pick) And the fun part? Its random! Sometimes its working normally using the primary color as it should! Its completely unpredictable, but most times it uses the wrong color. Also! The same goes for masking. Instead of using the black selected it uses the white and vice versa! Sometimes it doesnt even change when i change from black to white it masks the same way. Sometimes it doesnt matter if i set it to black or white it continues to remove from the mask.An

I have a CC subscription, today I wanted some new brushes, clicked on the "get more brushes" link in Photoshop, that landed me to a page where I was required to sign in. I signed in, but then the page kept refreshing asking me to sign in even though I'm already signed in and my payments are on time.Can't seem to get past this page. How do I get to the brushes? 

I'm trying to open a PSD and get this message in Photoshop: Could not complete your request because the file was not found.The person who is sending it to me is using mac and latest version of PS, same as me. He have sent it to others and it works. Any idea?

Hello everyone, I’d like to ask if anyone knows whether Photoshop has a feature similar to Azimuth in Procreate. I create brushes that simulate calligraphy pens, and pen rotation is a very important factor — both the rotation of the stylus and of the brush — to achieve the most natural result possible. As far as I’ve researched, brush rotation in Photoshop seems only possible if you’re using a Wacom tablet that’s compatible with the Wacom Art Pen. I had to buy both a Wacom Intuos and then the separate Art Pen for it to work properly. That solution, however, is not very accessible — since it requires very specific hardware, and the Art Pen alone costs over $100 and is often out of stock on Wacom’s website. On the other hand, Procreate users on iPad already benefit from stylus rotation: Apple recently introduced the Apple Pencil Pro, which includes a rotation sensor, but even before that, since around 2018 with the first-generation Apple Pencil, Procreate already offe

I keep encounter an error now as soon as I open PS, I tried resetting the prefences and I did the Creative Cloud clean up tool for everything but the problem still presists. Any solutions?

Is anyone else having issues with contextual taskbar in photoshop? it effects the way my files open, i have to close it everytime i want to edit a smart object. I'm running it on windows 11 Thanks for any info.

    I bought photoshop package of adobe. But after reinstalling windows all is gone. And i cant find the installation in my account. Can anyone help me. Is it gone? If so i have lost all my money. Please help me.  

I'm just trying to move my workspaces from one computer to another. As it has always* been with Adobe, they've made it as difficult as possible. The help page:https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html?x-product=Helpx%2F1.0.0&x-product-location=Search%3AForums%3Alink%2F3.4.0says: "SOURCE COMPUTER: On the computer that has the presets you want to migrate, do the following:Open Photoshop.Choose Edit > Presets > Export/Import Presets."But of course, that menu item doesn't exist in 25.13.0 (beta) on the Mac or 25.12.0. So I assume I'm back to chasing around in user libraries?Why can't Adobe make this a feature? Or have they hidden some new cloud solution somewhere and I (and the help files) just don't know about it Thanks for reading my ranting. And sorry for the exasperation.  *Since version 3.0. Swear to god.  They had "Preset Syncing" for two minutes but that's discontinued. 

PSD and PSB files are not opening - whether I open in the app using, FIle > Open or right click on the file in File Explorer and choose Open With > Adobe Photoshop 2025 - I get the Home screen, or whatever the landing page before you open a document is called - as shown below.  I also tried clicking on Open from this screen, and when I navigate to a file and select it, nothing then happens.  Why would this be happening?  Thanks.  

My husband passed away the night my Son and his Wife found out they were exxpecting their first child. I'm running an english Photoshop CS4 on an english Windows 7 machine but with a german keyboard, so I can't use the standard shortcut Ctrl+[ or ].The entry isnt there in Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts and I'm going crazy trying to find a solution.I already tried changing the input language and the UI language.Any Ideas?

Hi All, I am trying to add watermark for about 2000+ Images I created an action for landscape image but when a run the action for all the other images, some photos which are portrait is getting resized to landcape with white background to fill in the image, also even for some lanscape images which arelittle bit smaller than the one which I created the action from is also getting resized. I believe there should be a way to tackle this....but I dont know that...can someone please give a solution for this.

I make one small change at a time, and preview my overall workspace, but Photoshop keeps working anchors of the current element. How to get rid of those? Googling for a solution, I was told to enable View->Preview. As often is the case, Google leads me astray. Any ideas? -Ron
