Photoshop

I noticed that Photoshop has received another update, and the icons have been rearranged. Previously, the Lasso tool was located in the top left corner. I used to select the Lasso tool, outline some jeans to remove wrinkles, apply Generative AI, and achieve great results quickly.However, I have now spent an hour searching for this tool.Am I missing something? I found the Magnetic Lasso tool, but not the one I was using just eight hours ago.If anyone knows where to find it, please let me know. Thank you.

I purchased a perpetual license for  CS6 Design and Web Prem in 2012. No doubt over the years I changed PCs, scrapped older ones and reinstalled on replacements. Today I downloaded the suite from my account on Adobe and activated Acrobat. Photoshop however proved impossible to activate (too many computers error message). Adobe support says I am SOL. How can I possibly deactivate on my defunct and scrapped computers? Can Adobe do this? Any help appreciated... 

Color fade inportion of pictureI got a strange fade in a portion of a photo I scanned in.  It is not in the original photo.  color replacement doesn't do anythibg

I assume it was due to an update, not quite sure, but, I can't see my masks in layer view. Adobe Photoshop vs 26.1.0 for Windows.

While erasing on photoshop the image becomes distorted on its own, eg. having little squares missing out of the middle of the image? and then having grey blocks over the image as if it is lagging even though it has stayed on the same image. Would love some help! Thanks

I've encountered a technical problem, with the new update, where I am unable to save files to the Adobe cloud. Whenever I click on the "save as" option it directs me to option to save it locally. The button for "save to cloud documents" is still there but I cannot click on it. Thank you in advance for all the help.

I'm using version 26.4 and suddenly I found a scary bug .I opened abc.jpg and recorded an action: img (change 350dpi, 190mm width, press Ctrl+S again, save as abc.jpg, then close)Next I perform the img action on 123.jpg and I realize that I get a picture named abc.jpg but the contents are from 123.jpg.It's so scary, do I have to save as, instead of just tiles.The problem used to be that recorded actions would always be saved to the directory where the action was originally recorded (e.g. D:\a\abc.jpg), and would not be updated to the directory of the current picture (not to D:\b\123.jpg). This problem has not been solved yet, but today I saw another big bug.My god, what a sin, scared the baby to death.

ctrl +shift+n - create a new layerctrl +alt +shift+n - create a layer without a dialog boxI've reworked the keyboard shortcuts for one hand and create a new layer with ctrl+shift+d.until recently, a keyboard shortcut worked automatically with ALT    ctrl +alt +shift+d  create a layer without a dialog box but now it stopped working, I tried different versions of the program, now when I change the shortcut for creating a new layer to a non-default value it does not work with the alt modifier what could have happened? i need to create a new layer with one keystroke with one hand without a dialog box 

Bonjour, certain de mes fichiers ne s'ouvrent plus et affiche ce message, j'ai reinstallé/changer de version mais rien a faire ca ne bouge pas. Le fichier et pourant le meme que certain qui eux s'ouvre exepté niveau taille, mais pas de différence énorme. Si vous avez une solution a ce probleme merci d'avance !

The objective of this script is to automate my linking, saving, exporting process. Images included. I have a main-image.psd from which I would like to export 3 different images. On this main-image.psd file contains “hat-link,” a linked layer that contains 3 different layers, A, B, and C. Whatever I save in hat-link.psd will populate on main-image.psd.  I don’t mind my current method which is “save layer A in hat-link.psd, return to main-image.psd, export,” then repeat that with layers B, and C. The problem with this method is that it's time consuming because my linked file has around 30 layers, not 3. So far I've been saving and exporting manually. Is there a script I could write that says “save layer A in hat-link.psd, return to main-image.psd, export, save layer B in hat-link.psd, return to main-image.psd, export; save layer C in hat-link.psd, return to main-image.psd, export" without doing this manually?

Hi, @17464748 bought the adobe design standard cs6 2 or 3 years ago and have just updated all adobe to date but I still having the problem with the 3D extrusion. It is still greyed out. Actually wanted to chat directly with adobe technical support but keep direct me to forums. Can anyone help me in this issue. Will appreciate for the help.

Básicamente pisé mi archivo con cambios que no debían guardarse, sino descartarse.¿Hay manera de recuperar una versión anterior de ese archivo? Ya que si lo abro otra vez, el Historial

I've been alternating between two files (File A & File B) as they have the same content but File B requires me to only use one 16x9 image with a logo on top.My usual pathway is that I would copy the artboard from File A and then paste the artboard onto File B, and then the logo.I have no problems until yesterday, when I would paste the artboard from File A into File B, ONLY the text wouldn't show up. It is there but it's invisible.When I highlight the text, it's there but during my export, it cannot be seen.When I click on the type to move them, the transform box is very far away but the text is in within the artboard.

HelloI hope you can help .. I installed the new photoshop today (Mar 4th, 2025), on my pc, and accidently deleted the core tools when I was creating a new workspace.I uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop but the core tools did not come back. I spoke with an agent and they did not know how to fix this.  it was great for a moment to have access to all the lr functions such as adaptive color at myfingertips in ps <sigh> thank you 

I wanted to render a video in photoshop, and after opening the Render Video window my mac suddenly started launching an app called dynamicmedialinkserver that I have never seen before, and it got stuck on launchmode and since I didn't know what it was I just force quit it. Then I proceeded trying to render my video and got an error message. I figured out that these 2 things are related but I don't really understand what's happening since that app looks entirely unfamiliar to me.I restarted photoshop and tried rendering the video again, this time without closing the app that poped up and it worked...  

Is it possible to round the corners on a custom shape similar to how you would on a rectangle shape?I created an arrow shape, but I want the corners to be rounded.

I just got an email saying the Adobe Photoshop Fix app is to be deleted soon and I'm so confused as to why. It is the only app that i use and understand from adobe and im frustrated as to why it's getting removed. Trying to speak to a real person from this company is impossible and your AI chat is the most useless thing i've ever seen. Would love to speak to an actual person if that's even possible. I have a new Apple M4 Mac Mini that I have migrated to and cannot get the Load Files Into Stack feature to work at all. After selecting my images to load into the stack, I click OK and the window disappears and nothing happens. Doesn't matter if I try it with 2 images or 20 images, or with any different options on the dialog box. I have tried a few other scripts and they work without issue. I have even imported a custom script for loading files into a stack and it works. But the built in Photoshop functionality does not. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop, resetting all preferences, and installing older versions. I have tried with different file formats and different folders on my HD. I have been using this process in my workflow for the last 10 years, and it simply isn't working on this device. The exact same steps work on the Apple M2 Macbook Pro I migrated from. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas I can try. Current system info:Photo

When I go to save for web, the default location is always the last place I saved a file, and not where the PSD file i'm working on is located. Is there a way to change the default location. This seems like a very bad UI decision. I don't remember it being like this previously. 

Generative fill is not working I have a copyright problem in photoshop, it always shows a message that the feature is not available when I use AI Generation Fill, even though I have used the copyright from adobe, so what is the problem with my feature. multiple tools acting wonky, e.g.,Burn Tool remembers its "path" prior tomouse left press which normally startsburn action, now the path gets burned, too.same issue with Quick Select & Remove tools;closing, reopening PS 2025 don't help;shutting down, rebooting don't help;saving between actions don't help; summary: tools are remembering where they'vebeen before left-mouse-press; normally tools actonly AFTER left mouse is pressed... WHAT SETTING DID I CHANGE BY MISTAKE?or do I need to delete & reload PS 2025?
