Hello, was looking apply Stipple filter onto my image and it seems that on this version of PS 26.1 its missing? Or am I missing something? thanksfilter> filter gallery> stipple. 

I am running Photoshop 26.2 on a 2024 MacBook Pro (M4 Max Chip) with macOS Sequoia 15.2. I have my workspace customized such that all the panels and the toolbar are on the right hand side of the screen. For some reason when I open an image file it is displaying in the entire workspace with the right-hand portion of the image hidden behind the toolbar and panels. This problem just started (I probably did something). How can I get back to where a newly opened image file displays only in the available workspace instead of the entire workspace? Thanks in advance for any ideas. Stan  

Am I the only one experiencing this? (Mac) When saving to JPG with the "export" function, I press the "export" button, I see the system window showing where the file will be saved, I press "Save" and after the system windows closes I see the "Export" screen of Photoshop still open, no file saved; I press "Export" again then, and I risk ending in an infinite loop dragging me into a wormhole to the bugs metaverse.Thanks God the developers (or underdevelopers in this case?) kept alive the legacy good old reliable "Save for web" option which still works (showing me that this is not a memory problem or hard disk problem since this way the JPG perfectly gets saved)... but until when will one of the few remaining and better-than-their-successors legacy options survive??

Hi there - I'm just trying to put 25 photos together to get one (hi-res) file/photo from it. My aim is to create a 'collage' from 25 photos and arrange them in a 5x5 pattern. There should not be any frame around them, I just want to seamlessly 'stitch' them together. Does anybody know how this could be achieved (hopefully) easily?  Thank you so much!Daniel

I have some keyboard shortcuts set to ctrl+shift+[letter] and they are not working in photoshop or illustrator. I can still use ctrl+___ and shift+___ shortcuts fine. Even if I try remapping them in keyboard settings, it doesn't even register the input. I've tried checking my system language and closing all other programs. I'm at a loss.

There is probably a really obvious solution but I am trying to mask an image for the first time in forever (I've been shooting film and not doing much etiting)I'm trying to add a different image to an existing one in a new layer and when I do it changes the existing image to the one I'm adding so I end up with two layers of the same image if that makes sense. It's not letting me drag and drop either it will just seperate the image into its own tab.What am I doing wrong.Im not sure what version it is but when I hover over the icon it says Adobe Photoshop 2025

When opening the image in photoshop the colors change to more vibrant colors. The "color setting" is set to Adobe RGB 1998, "Assign Profile" is set to Adobe RGB, and "Convert to Profile" is assigned to Adobe RGB. Also, "Proof Setup" is set as Wroking CMYK. When I "Export" image file as JPG, the colors go back to original colors. However, when I save image file as PDF under "Save as" the colors image get saved as vibrant color. I'm trying to keep the colors exactly the same as the original image which is also RGB. I don't know why colors change for PDF when saving? NOTE: image color stays the same as original when I export image file as PDF in canva.com.   

hello everyone, I just noticed that photoshop's generative ai update was much less effective than v25.12. Why make updates that regress tools that work well ?Photoshop V26 :Photoshop V25.12 :Just more réalistic !

Hi!  Since I installed PS 26.0.0, saving TIFF files (no matter of which size) takes a long time to be saved.  Sometimes up to 10 minutes.  More than half after reaching 92% saving.  It does not make a difference to use my internal hard disk How to optimize saving time?  Thanks! My computer:  Apple M1 Max / 32GB / OS:  Sonoma 14.0

I have Adobe Lightroom, previously having Adobe Photoshop Elements on another PC. The old system was simple; when you loadeded Ps you could choose Edit or Organize.  With this one I load Lr then Photoshop but can't select Orginize because there isn't one. If you put Orginize/Orginising Etc into Help nothing comes up. I have bought  Photoshop for Dummies but it (and Youtube) asume you are on Orginiser  Page - which I'm not because I don't know how to load it. I don't know if my Keyword tabs have loaded from my old PC (someone installed Lr for me when they sold me the new PC)  all my photos are loaded in My  fFles but I don't know if the Keyword Tabs are because I can't view them in Organiser.  Can someone please explain/point me to a  simple Youtube step by step way of solving the problem. I am printing from Photoshop 2025(26.0) on an iMac (OS Sonoma V14.6.1, Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) to an Epson SC-P700 printer.  I am printing an 8x12" image (both image and canvas size), centered on 13x19" paper, so there is plenty of room.  The image shows correct size in the Photoshop window, using the ruler.If I specify SuperB/A3 Borderless paper, the print comes out oversized in both dimensions, approximately 1/4" over on the long edge. If I specify SuperB/A3 without the Borderless option, the print comes out undersized, again by approximaetely 1/4". I do not have the "scale to fit media" option checked. Thoughts: I did previously have the "scale to fit media" option checked when printing test prints on letter sized paper but I can't see why this should have bearing now.  I have saved as a TIFF rather than Photoshop and run into the same problem.  I have open and closed and re-opened both Photoshop and the printer to no effect.  (I can't

Hoping I can get some help with a masking problem.  Picture an image that contains several ripples, like when a raindrop lands on the surface of a pond.  Each ripple is essentially a series of concentric elliptical shapes emanating from the center, each ellipsis slightly irregular.  To each of these ripples, I would like to apply a graduated blur, so that the ellipses closer to the center are sharper than those further from the center.  One way to do that would be to convert the ripples layer to a smart object, apply a Gaussian blur, and apply a radial gradient to the blur filter’s layer mask.  However, I would like to shape (i.e., transform) the gradient to the contours of each individual ripple.  I understand there are ways to contour a gradient.  I can, for example, create a gradient in a shape layer and transform the shape.  However, I haven’t figured out how to contour a gradient within a layer mask.  Does anyone know how to do this?

All of my Adobe products are kept up-to-date regularly.I've tried opening t he file in other image viewers: Affinity, Preview, Topaz AI, and Lightroom with no issues but PS & PS Beta produce the "Unable to open file because Photoshop does not recognize file type" error message.As my subject title indicates I initially opened the file and edited it in PS so:-Is it something in the editing that creates the problem?  i.e. I ran it through the Topaz Photo AI plugin to sharpen and denoise, however, that's part of my usual workflow so why with this (or any) particular file?I'd love to know if anyone else is having this issue and can say how they resolved it.Thanks in advance!Jean 

i am having issue with ps and ai. from last 1 day i am having this issue and only change i did was windows update to 20h1 2 days ago.now idont know if its due to window update or not so now for the issue.when ever  i import a image it show a cyan hue but when i export that image with cyan hue its back to its orignal colors.also in my ps and ai colors are slightly diferent i.e i draw something and fill it with silver color.(i use silver color code from google) but the color is not silver its shaded in gray side but its not silver.same goes for other color in ps they have a different shade.but when exported they are back to orignal colors.any help would be appreciated.hope i made my self clear.lso i attachment 3 images 1 images show in ps image and ontop export image window with orignal color and rest 2 are one in ps and 1 orignal .help would be appreciated

Right now, I am still using Windows 10 but I am planning to go to Windows 11.  After October, Windows 10 will not be supported.  So, I am trying to find out how to deactivate and reinstall.  I did this once before, but that was a long time ago, and I am not sure what I did before.  I have Photoshop version 3 (even on floppy disks) versions 6, 7, CS, CS2, CS3, CS5, and CS6.  I think this is what I did last time.  I started the installation for version CS6 and when it asked for the serial number, I gave the CS5 number.  I just do not remember if that is what I did.  I looked at all my disks and versions 6 and 7 say upgrade.   On versions CS, CS2, CS3, and CS5 I do not see the word upgrade on the disks.  What is the proper way to proceed?  I did not get a CD of version CS6, I believe I was given a link to download it.  I still have a download on my hard drive.   The file folder says I downl

I am using Photoshop 25.11 on my work PC using windows 11.     Up until recently, when PS would crash (AND IT CRASHES OFTEN THESE DAYS! )   When I restarted PS i would get nearly all of my open files recovered, Especially the one i was last working on!  This hasnt happened the last 3 crashes, am I missing something? Did adobe offer another helpful feature that turns out to be something that users HATE!   Please advise, because this is causing me much grief.

Every action I make in Photoshop (painting, using the marquee tool, ctrl + z, zooming in and out) makes my canvas distort by 1 pixel for a brief moment. This issue gets resolved when my toolbar is not showing, if I press tab to hide the toolbar or press F two times to go into fullscreen mode the issue gets fixed. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? This problem started happening when I got my new PC, all my drivers are updated as is Photoshop... Then only reason I can think of as the root of the problem is that I am still using my old 1920x1080 60Hz monitor while having an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics card.

Received .jpg file from client for use in marketing. File appears normal in Win 10 (version: 10.0.19045.5247) Photos, as well as Paint 3D (which is how I finally converted it for use). However, once in Photoshop (version: 26.2.0 20241207.r.140 bc85906 x64) the colors distort and any gradients show as severely pixelated. I checked color profiles, etc., as well as trying to convert the file to different modes - minimal to no change each time. Checked for any sort of permissions issues, copyright protections, etc., couldn't find anything. I also tried to "cheat" and open it through Bridge into Camera Raw, no dice. Wouldn't even allow for a thumbnail preview of the file. After using Paint 3D to convert it to a .tiff it opened fine in Photoshop with no visible issues, and was able to be re-converted back to a .jpg and saved with the new file also no longer having any issues. What gives?  Thanks!

I have the newest iPad Pro and pencil, i haven’t noticed any issues using sketch or fresco with my pencil pairing, but i have had a ton of issues in photoshop. It seems to react to the pencil Immediately after docking but only for 30 secs or so, at which time it will not recognize my pencil. This is of course a huge issue while working in the app. 

Hey just wanted to get some more opinions on this. Layer Comps have always been extremely useful, but I've found "Export>Layer Comps to PDF" to be highly unpredictable in terms of accuracy. The various issues I've seen are:  layers hidden in the Comp become visible in the export, strokes sometimes change weight, gradients/clipping masks are sometimes affected, and probably MOST frequently, text becomes garbled (example screenshot attached). Just for clartity, I've noticed these errors for several years across many different PSD files, different fonts, and different versions of Photoshop (on Mac). So I'm having a hard time isolating the problem. Meanwhile, the "Save As>PDF" works super consistently, and even "Export>Layer Comps as files" to other formats like PNG/TIFF all work perfectly with the same Layer Comps. But the moment I try Layer Comps to PDF, Photoshop seems to short-circuit. It's such a convenient feature for batch processing for print, and I'm continually

HiI have a 4k Monitor, set in Windows display settings to scale at 150%: - this works fine in lightroom and other photo editing software, but not Photoshop. I have two specific problems (The UI looks great - no issues there)When I try and use the menus at the top and click on one it activates the menu two to the leftWhen I try and use the lassoo tool or brush tool it actually brushes/selects away from the cursor.I have tried the two main solutions that people seem to suggest, which is right clicking the photoshop.exe and changing the DPI settings in there to use the system ones, and the other is using a manifest file. Neither of these suggestions seemed to work.I have three monitors - my laptop (which is set to 125% scaling as recommended), my 4K monitor set to 150% as indicated above, and a HD monitor set to 100%. Photoshop only works correctly when I'm on the HD monitor, or when I change the scaling in Windows on the other monitors to 100%. However, then the UI is too small and
