I can get it to crash by just adding a curves adjustment and clicking on any of the interactive tools (black/white/grey point eyedropper, or the 'click and drag' icon). PS crashes out.  If it doe snot crash with the 'click and drag' to set curves vaues, it won't release the control once the mouse button is released.  I'm using a Mac running Catalina.  

Dear, since the subscription is not available in my country I have a technical question. I have a relative in Germany who can subscribe to a certain plan, the payment will go monthly from Germany, but the use of Photoshop and Lightroom will be permanent from my country with a different IP address than the subscription.Is that possible?ty for the time

I have program written with Python 2 that runs externally, which tells Photoshop to save out .dds files. In previous versions of PS this would work fine, but since the 19 update the process often gets interrupted at various stages. Sometimes the export can run to completion, other times it stops and I get an error log message like:Traceback (most recent call last):  File "main.py", line 690, in clicked_export  File "exporter.pyc", line 212, in export  File "comtypes\client\lazybind.pyc", line 168, in __getattr__  File "comtypes\automation.pyc", line 729, in _invoke_ctypes.COMError: (-2147417846, 'The message filter indicated that the application is busy.', (None, None, None, 0, None))Edit: It seems like I might be able to get around this actually by implementing sleep, but I have had to put this in three different locations so far and it's kinda like playing Whack-A-Mole because the error can show up anywhere depending on when Photoshop feels like being "busy".SAVIN

Photoshop 2024 runs a bunch of Topaz Apps using Rosetta.  Using Rosetta in 2025 leaves the apps greyed out.  The plug-ins have been copied from 20-24 into 2025.  I can maintain both years apps on my machine and use them selectively; but that does not explain the issue.

I recently got an OKI c844dnw printer. I set up multiple (~7) prints A3, 250g/m², 1200dpi in/through Photoshop which all went fine. Then I got "PDL Error Ocurred" on the printer whenever I wanted to print another one. All other programms (Acrobat, Word, Windows Test page) and papers I tested worked without a problem. Workaround was saving as PDF and print with Acrobat.Printer guidelines only state that an error in the PDL occurred and I should try again. So far I tried:uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshopuninstalling and reinstalling printer driverrestarting PC multiple times Nothing worked... Any help where to even start would be much apreciated.

A adobe nunca foi boa em guardar os atalhos e as preferêcias de área de trabalho, mas ultimamente parece que piorou bastante, mesmo com as evoluções em IA. Eu sempre defino meus atalhos, e ele sempre acaba perdendo isso, qual a dificuldade da Adobe em salvar essas preferências em núvem?Outra coisa que odeio, é que; sempre defino meu atalho de converter texto em curvas no Photoshop como CTRL+SHIFT+O. Mas ele perde as preferências, e esse atalho instala o Bridge SEM PERGUNTAR SE QUERO. Sempre achei o Bridge um lixo, poderia ao menos perguntar se eu quero instalar isso no meu computador.

Hi, I did the last update on photoshop this morning, this greatly increases generative content quality, though there is something I noticed that bother me... now the selection you make to generate ai content is automatically smoothed and extended which makes more " precised " manipulations very tricky... I was wondering if there was a way to disable that ? I like to use generative ai prompt to remove elements on my image, it usually gives better result than every other toolsThank you !

a Bug when updating to illustrator v 2.9.2.1 and Photoshop Today 1.15.2025 After updating illustrator and Photoshop, recent files when previewed in icon view will say 1 Year, but if you switch to List view they will be correct. I wasted one hour of my time with Adobr Tech this morning trying to convince them that the issue is not in my computer or my copy, the issue is their update. So I'm posting this here hopefully others will let me know if they have the same issue. I think the app is confused if it was 2024 it will tell you one year ago no matter what even if the file was open in December or November all the way back to January.. Check the 2 attachements.    

I recently got a new PC and installed a fresh version of Photoshop, but something in the settings seems misconfigured compared to how it worked on my previous setup.Currently, if content within a layer extends outside the canvas, I’m unable to drag it back into the canvas. For example, when I paste an image and it is entirely positioned outside the canvas, I can’t move it at all unless I first enable Transform mode. After enabling Transform, I can drag the content, but this extra step was never necessary on my old setup.Here’s the part I can’t figure out:I never had to manually select layers before, which leads me to believe Auto-Select was enabled in my previous setup.At the same time, I don’t remember being unable to drag content from outside the canvas, even with Auto-Select on. This seems contradictory because, with Auto-Select on now, I can’t drag content that’s outside the canvas at all. How was I able to move content outside the canvas before without manually selecting laye

I've found that when I'm drawing in Photoshop at the end of a brushstoke the tool cursor momentarily appears as the mouse cursor. It's only for a slip second and appears as an annoying flicker with repeated strokes. I'm not sure if this is a Photoshop issue or perhaps an error with my Intuos Wacom Tablet. I've using the latest driver, version of Photoshop and Ventura 13.2.1.  This issue is worse when working on a new .psd file for some odd reason. Any suggestions? Thank you in adavance. 

HelloI'm a beginner on PS, mostly for photo corrections. I follow tutorials on Youtube to improve my knowledge on how to use PS.I sometimes make mistakes in my settings and now I have a problem.The outlines of the brush strokes and duplication pads are chiselled and when I use the duplication pad, what I copy doesn't completely fill the circle.How can I remedy this problem?Thanks in advanceTraduit par Deepl

  This is an image I pulled off one of my online classes, the black and white photo is a reference.  How would one use Photoshop to create such an effect?  I am guessing its a filter, but cannot figure out how to recreate the effect.

I have tried several different methods found on the internet to clean up/refine the edge between the actual sky and mountain landscape in the attached photo with no success.  I assume this can be accomplished in Lightroom CC or Photoshop 2025.    Any help or recommendation is greatly appreciated.  Thanks before hand.

It seems like in some of the Adobe Max videos the iPad version of Photoshop had a brush cursor.  Mine does not.  Is this a setting somewhere that I'm missing? Doing things like carefully drawing on layer masks is extremely difficult without a cursor.

It will not open any raw or DNG files, and I get this message when trying to hand off from lightroom 14.1:I have uninstalled PS, reinstalled an earlier version(same problem) and re-updated to 26.2.  Also "repaired" creative cloud - no change...Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Hallo Leute, habe folgendes Problem (Photoshop Version 23.3.2 - Windows10):Ich kann nur über Umwege zB 100 TIFF Bilder in einer Stapelverarbeitung als JPG speichern.Ich habe ca 7-8 Versionen bis zurück zu 22.5.8 getestet, mit unterschiedlichen Ergebnissen, meist wird es nur als TIFF gespeichert, manchmal legt er TIFF in den gewünschten Ordner ab, aber die JPG ohne Erklärung auf den Desktop. Habe verschiedene Exportvarianten ausprobiert (save as, save as Copy, für web speichern) überall verschiedene Ergebnisse (bugs) aber nie genau meiner Anweisung entsprechend. Die Variante mit der ich im Moment Leben kann: Er speichert TIFF und JPGs in den gleichen Ordner.(Stapelverarbeitung dauert somit länger als würde er nur JPG machen und TIFF Datein muss ich nachher löschen)Zum Glück muss ich gerade keine Hochzeitsfotos bearbeiten 🙂    

using photoshop CC, trying to smooth the edges on this image. I used select and mask, but when i move the feather and some other sliders, nothing happens. the opacity sliders works though. no boxes are checked. please help! Thanks.

While working in photoshop, when I create a new text box or copy and paste one, random words from earlier in the project keep showing up outside of the text box as a part of the same layer. They're uneditable and hide when I hide the original text box, but I can't seem to get rid of them or figure out what's causing this glitch. Lent is the actual text box here, but the small renewals are not and are a glitch of some sort. 

I'm using Photoshop Beta 25.0.0 on a Macbook Pro OS 13.4.1 I have a file with two Artboards and various conten on each. Typicaly clicking on the small arrow to the right of the eyeball icon will collaps the layers of stuff on the artboard. For some reason clicking on them does nothing now. Any thoughts on how to fix?

My Nik Collection is not working in Photoshop 24.0   It loads when installs , however after making changes to photo, when I return to Photoshop, the changes do not occur. 

why is the size of  my image not showing? 

I need to remove all the pattering off this giraffe for my project, I am having trouble figuring it out, I have tested out the stamp tool, auto removing, and even drawing over it but it doesn't look convincing at all. The project is to copy a photo provided to me, a drawing a child drew, so that is why the giraffe looks that way.
