Photoshop

In Photoshop 2025 with Windows 10, the Eraser key (E) will not not toggle back to the the Brush Tool (B) when pressing the key without letting up. It is still working correctly in the new Beta version. I do not always want the exact same brush stroke that the Tilde (~) gives (which stll works correctly). I use the Eraser Tool set up on my Wacom Pen, but it does not work correctly even when using the mouse by pressing the E key without letting go of the key - it does not return back to the Brush Tool. I am currently doing all my painting in the Beta version as this is so important to me.

[Moderator moved from Using the Community (forums) to Photoshop.]   I was working a file and I could see the layers and use the layers. After saving and closing and reopening the file, my layers panel has disappeared. The Layers Panel under the Window menu tab is checked and Isolate Layers under the Select menu tab is not checked. Layers are not showing up in any other file even the background layer. Help...

Hello Merry Christmas to all.Thanks to Paul Riggott,https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/easy-way-to-extract-all-pixel-lab-values-please-help/m-p/3819899,i have a CSV file with XY coordinates and LAB value of each pixel extracted from a PSD file. I do some modifications to the LAB value in the CSV file and wish to apply the modification as a LAB colour curve through script in Photoshop either in the same file or in a different file. Photoshop by default support only 16 adjustment points with full integers. But i wish to enter decimals upto 3 points and en number of adjustment points in the curve.  Is this something that can be achieved through scripts. Many thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi there, Something seems to have gone wrong with the Displace Filter in PS 26.2. I've run the same test on two machines and had the same results - it's taking 10 to 15 times longer than in prior versions. I'll include a screen recording of PS 25.12 compared to PS 26.2. Using the exact same file, with the exact same displacement map, running it 16 times in a row - I'm seeing:PS 25.12: about 1.5 secondsPS 26.1: about 1.5 secondsPS 26.2: about 20 secondsPS Beta 26.3: about 20 seconds I rely pretty heavily on running Displace many times in a row for Ink Bleed effects and a few other things, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could look into this. Thanks in advance!

We have a large banner in Photohop 23.2.2 with dimensions of 24' x 10' (43200px x 18000px) @ 150px/inch.The file is saved as a .psb.The printer wants a .pdf file, but we cannot find a way to save/export this file to .pdf.This is on a Mac Pro with 256 gb of ram, running the latest version of Monterey.In addition to the layered .psb file, we've flattened it and saved as a .jpg and that still will not save as a .pdf file.Any ideas??

 Every time I use the Remove Tool on around 10 photos, I can no longer use the Liquify feature unless I restart Photoshop. After restarting, Liquify works normally, but the issue repeats after using the Remove Tool again.If I set my image processing to "More Accurate" (instead of "Faster"), the problem doesn’t occur, but the performance becomes too slow. Bonjour, Pour des raisons de materiel je suis en clavier QWERTY je suis sous un windows 10 d'afrique du Sud avec la langue "english" J'ai donc photoshop en Anglais ... Apres une mauvaise manip du control C control V j'ai perdu le dock des instruments sur Photoshop j'ai retrouve comment recuperer le dock mais apres ca je ne trouve pas le lasso polygonal comme a son habitude a sa place et il me manque baguette magique  Comment retrouver ces instruments ???  

I know the mods are going to move this to another thread but I feel like if we all posted something lilke this every few minutes here then maybe the mods, and by extension Adobe would understand how it feels to be interrupted in your workday by what is essentially an ad telling you that you're doing it wrong. Your enterprise customers pay you thousands per month. They know when it's the right time to update. I am using Mac mini M4 chip MacOs Sequoia version 15.1. My Photoshop (Photoshop v26.1) got crashed any time and reset all of settings!!!!  How to fix it or How can I keep all settings?

the last saved image does not appear in Photoshop Home, what a pity...

Hello,When I save my image as a jpeg or tiff,the colors change... they appear desaturated.... I'm using a Macbook Pro and photoshop 2025. I've already checked the color settings, and they re set to sRGB. Does anyone know why the colors look so different?

No matter what file I'm working on or what directory I'm mainly working out of, the "Quick Export as PNG" option always defaults to "Documents", which causes me to have to search for the correct folder to save into, which is not a problem with the normal Export->Export As dialog.Anyone know how to get "Quick Export as PNG" to default to the same directory of my current file?thanks!

Despite some warnings I always use PS beta for the following reason: in beta my custom workspace ALWAYS opens up whenever I launch it (pict 1+2) with tools in 2 columns and the layer panel under the histogram on the rightmost end.However, in PS I never succeeded in saving this layout despite numerous "new workspace" save actions (pict 3). What am I missing?

I've been using the newest version for a while and suddenly, like out of nowhere, the move tool stops dragging things and instead draws a marquee selection. And no, I don't want to turn off auto-select on the tool options, because that means I can't click a layer and just move it anymore. If adobe has suddenly reworked this tool for no reason at all, and i can't click then drag a layer anymore, that is a massive blow to my current workflow/muscle memory. In the attached image I would have previously been able to just drag that central image to the side, but now it just draws a marquee. I have the move (v) tool selected in the toolbar.

Hello there,is this possible?I know There is a panel where I can change the rotation, but I love shortcuts.In another reddit post I read this:Use opt-shift-< and opt-shift-> to rotate. It works slowly.Unfortunately this one does not work on my Win 11 machine. Also when I want to use >, I need to click shift anyway..... you know what I mean....Do you guys have an idea? I just went crazy with my Keyboard and found a Way to rotate at least in one direction:ATL + SHIFT + "+" ->> this increases the rotation slowlyDo you have any idea on how to rotate it in the other direction?Do you think there is a way to increase the rotation speed? Or even use the mouse movement to rotate? Maybe you can also use autohotkey to improve or create these functions? happy afternnoon everyone

I'm using the latest Photoshop 2015 version with Windows 10.I’m getting better at making jpgs from RAW files, but am not always 100% satisfied with the results, so I always save the RAW files that I can go back to at a later date when my Photoshop skills have gotten better.  I of course, save the associated XMP files so I can see what edits I made with Adobe Camera Raw, however, once I start making changes to the NRW in Photoshop after I hit “open” within Adobe Camera RAW, unless I manually keep a spreadsheet or some other document of the changes I make, I’ll later have no idea what I did. For example, I may select the subject and then increase the brightness by 31%, the contrast by 62%, and then increase the saturation by 12%, then select the inverse and decrease the brightness by 24% before saving the jpg.  So, if I later want to see if I can make a better jpg from the file, I’d like to have the changes logged somewhere that I can use as a reference.  I’m well awa

I’m currently developing a series where I take everyday objects and repurpose them into abstract compositions. For this project, I need to optimize my workflow in Photoshop. I work with many photographs of the same object from different angles, and I’d like to know if there are ways to use AI tools or automations (like Actions or Scripts) to cut them out automatically. My Retouch4Me Color Match plugin for Photoshop stopped working. It is the latest version and it's an original paid version (not a crack!). When I made the colors look good and close the plugin to go back to Photoshop the color looks crazy and red. I have seen a thread earlier that was closed after someone said it's a problem for cracked versions.This is NOT a cracked version, so that is wrong. Do anyone know how to fix the problem? I guess it must have been after an update for Photoshop. It all worked fine earlier.

Hi, an hour ago I used the pts and saved it, however when I came back to open the file, it wasn't active.I checked the type of file of my psd file, It turning to this, not the regular psdI had tried to fix it but It still not worked by replacing the location, opening in other apps,... What should I do?? Pls help me!
