My photoshop upgraded to v25 and I no longer have an eraser tool or magic eraser. I can’t erase anything nor can I even find where it might be? Trying to find a way to revert back to v24 so that I can actually use photoshop

Hi, i need to integrate different  cartoon-like characters into different photo-like backgrounds. The problem is in making same light and color balance on character part, like making sunset light effect on character. I can make different layer-masks, shadows, color balance, but i saw several quicker possibilities in photoshop: 1: neural filters are not working completely, tired of trying to fix this 2: camera raw filter with some ready-made types of lighting like cold lighting, warm shadows, natural lighting, but there are not enough options. Are there any plugins or other ready-made filters like sunset light, dawn light or smthing like this to fit characters into different backgrounds?

Hi, my Photoshop has been updated to the latest version and I'm on the latest version of Windows 10. I cannot open the application because every time I try, it crashes as soon as it loads up. I've cleared all of my preferences and reinstalled once already and it still persists. Hi, I had an adobe creative cloud account with my school last year. The account ended once I graduated. Now I am applying for schools and need to build a portfolio but I no longer have acces to anything in my creative cloud. How can I acces my old media?

Hi allI have Abobe cc and have all my apps installed on my desktop. When I travel around I want to do some really simple photo editing for my posts/articles. Problem is that my laptop is quite low end and struggles with the adobe apps. Can anyone tell me if there is a lighter weight photoshop? Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.2.0 20241207.r.140 bc85906 x64Windows 11 Expected behavior: "Remove Distractions (people)" replaces parts of the images that contain people with parts that do not contain people Observed behavior: new synthetic people are inserted in the marked areas  I have a photo of my wife with a lot of people in the background. When I use "Remove Distractions" to find and remove the people, it nicely marks all people, but it then replaces the large group with new synthetic people. Yes, there are less of them then before, but deformed and not removed.

Workspace keeps jumping up to upper L corner - how do I keep workspace where I am working on it? Managed to get a screen shot to show you. Thank you for help.

Olá, equipe Adobe, Estou enfrentando um problema persistente com o Photoshop no meu MacBook M1 (8GB RAM, 256GB SSD). Esse problema ocorre em qualquer versão do Photoshop, inclusive nas versões mais recentes. Assim que abro o programa, ele entra no estado de "não respondendo", fica carregando indefinidamente e faz com que meu Mac esquente bastante. Já tentei diversas soluções para corrigir o problema, incluindo: Formatar meu MacBook;Desinstalar e reinstalar o Photoshop;Testar diferentes versões do software;Usar o Adobe Cleaner para limpar a instalação;Pesquisar e testar alternativas sugeridas nos fóruns da Adobe.Infelizmente, nenhuma dessas medidas resolveu o problema. Gosto muito de utilizar o Photoshop original e valorizo o produto, mas está se tornando inviável continuar com ele devido a esse bug constante. Por favor, preciso de orientação para resolver essa situação. whenever i try creating a contact sheet in my updated version of photoshop 2024, it always comes out as a blank page. I have tried selecting the images as individual file rather than a folder, and still it came out blank. i also tried changing some settings, and still it came out blank.  Since I installed photoshop it has been like this and i cannot find a solution for it. It is really frustrating as i cannot get work done. If anyone has any solutions, please let me know asap, it would be much appreciated.

Half my layers are missing in the layers window, but their content on the canvas are still showing. What's going on here? This is driving nuts. Well, after eating some organic almonds and quitting Photoshop and returning, the layers are back.  Go figure!

Again I found myself in the situation where everytime I fired up Photoshop the layers were completely monochromatic (Blue and Green) and basically Photoshop was unsuable.  I suspect a recent Windows 11 Update that trashed a bunch of other stuff, but you can't be sure with a reasonably complex machine. Anyway...the last time this happened it took me weeks to find a solution and I got a lot of bad advice along the way.  If this has happened to you recently the solution is DDU which cleans up a messed up video driver installation so that Photoshop magically works again .  Its great stuff.   Posting this in the hope of saving folks some time.  

Alright, Hi, Thank you for looking at my issue. Normally I write all my "speeches" so this would just be extra labor however I was working off the cuff so now it's kind of inconvient, will be saving many versions going forward. This is my dilemma.. I was working on a project took a break, came back & now my text are invisible & unable to see despite being visible in the layers right side bar or on another version I saved prior the text is spread across the canvas & scattered.. unaligned.. but not how I had it, some is cut in half & just missing in general. I have added an image to help explain. if there is any fix, that would be helpful if not.. well I guess I'mma restart !   

The program freezes right after I make a selection with the object selection tool, never had this issues until version 24.0.1

I created a custom brush.  I saved it like I was supposed to and now have it in my brush presets.  I would like to use it with my clone stamp tool.  But after I click on the clone stamp tool, I select the brush and my clone stamp tool goes back to the paint brush tool.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi,I have made about 40 image's wich take about 1,5 hours to render per image with the texture/ pattern as shown below.But now my client does not want this texture/ pattern anymore but just a grey blended texture.I always use PS to edit this post production. But is there a clever way to also accomplish this job? I myself first thought about the fade tool, but this does not get the desired result. Someone got any tips? Thanks! -Nick

Hi everyone, I have been struggling with editing this image. I shot this image that has wrinkles on the background, then applied the generative fill in Photoshop. However, I notice that the edges of the image are not smooth (has artifacts/jagged), and the chair looks a tiny bit different from the original one (especially on the corners). I have the layer of the original chair. Is there a way somehow I place the "good" chair on top of the chair layer that has artifacts on the edge? How would you do about something like this? Thank you so much for your help.

Edit in Photoshop 2025 is not working from LrC...the menu is greyed out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both LrC and PS 2025....makes no difference.  I've laso changed external editor in LrC preferences to PS 2025     

I see Photoshop updated  on 12/18.  I have both 26.2 and 25.12.1 and it happens with both.  I've tried previous files that I have printed using the same setup and they crash as well.  I had two win 11 (current ver 24H2) updates that I was able to uninstall but I still get the same thing.  There are a couple more updates from WIN that won't let me uninstall them.  Any ideas?  I can open Photoshop fine.  I can do things in Photoshop fine.  As soon as I hit the Print button it closes a few seconds later.  Nothing else is running.  Just photoshop.  Worked fine a couple weeks ago.  Lightroom Classic will print fine. 

I want to hide this feature. I don't need it. When i open a finished project of mine, sometimes i need only layer styles. I don't wanna change anything on my project but when i make copy /paste layer, it changing project and fill my history panel unnecessary. I want to hide this like "Make Layer Visibility Changes Undoable" option. Please help me for this.
