I have photoshop 2025 and I can't find the option "image reference" where can i find it? Thank you

Tengo un problema con la herramienta de degradado clásico, desde que instalé la ultima actualización de Photoshop. Al intentar cambiar de color desde la ventana de colores, éste no se cambia en los degradados automaticamente como solía hacerlo. Y además, al intentar aplicar un degradado clásico, el más simple (de a desvanecerse hacia la nada) me genera un cambio tajante, sin degradado (como se vé en la foto).Por favor, ya no sé que hace, es una herramienta que uso muchisimo y no consigo hacerla funcionar. A quien pueda ayudarme, desde ya muchas gracias.

Photoshop runs fine on my ARM processor but the remove tool is not available and is not available in customise toolbars. I have seen comments that say this feature is not available yet. Does anyone know if there is an Adobe released list of all features they are aware of that dont work and any expectation of a fix date.

I noticed that I have 2 PS on my computerPS 2024 ver 25.12.1 PS 2025 ver 26.2I also noticed that my LR sends photos to be edited in PS 2024.Question is - can I delete 2024 and keep only 2025 ? Is there a reason to keep both versions ? Thanks

Hi, My PS updates report that v26.0 and 26.2 are 'Not compatible'  the report is that my processor needs 'Advanced Vector Extensions 2' (AVE2)  My machine is quite old by well specifedDell Precision workstation T5500Two Xeon(R) CPUs E5507 @ 2.27 GHz 4 cores each32Gb RAMWin10 Pro  64 bitGPU AMD FirePro W810016Tbb total storage Is there anything I can do to be able to run PS v26 and above? Thanks, Ian   

Why does every update keep getting worse and worse, to the point where it's almost unbearable to use?Photoshop is crazy glitchy. I have to click save about 10 times to save a JPG as it's always greyed out. After someone from tech support 'fixed it, it went back to being glitchy again and not working. Now my gradient tool doesn't work any more.... eurghhhhh its diabolical! One thing after another.... dont roll an update out unless its ready to go! I wish there was another program i could use because at this point id switch. Painful!

PhotoShop CS5 ExtendedWindows 10Suddenly after years of use, Photoshop won't let me 'Save As' and locks up at the same time. I can 'Save' or "Save for Web,' but not 'Save As.' I cannot 'Save As' any file format that I edit. I cannot "Save" as new file and when closing it I am asked it I want to save it? I select 'yes' and PS locks up. I cannot use File>Open, as it locks up for that as well, but I can drag a file onto the screen and it will open. Any time iy locks up I can unlock it by hitting the 'Esc" key. I tried resetting preferences and even doing an uninstall and reinstall. Neithe of them worked. I also turned off ' Enable Open GL Drawing' under Prefernces>performance, but that didn't solve the issue either. No hardware changes have been made in 3 years and no new software for the past year, aside from updates made by the OS or software already installed.Any other ideas?

There is a certain way in which switching to Photoshop causes any docked palettes to not appear along with the rest of the Photoshop interface. Allow me to elaborate.Performing any of the following actions to open an image in Photoshop causes any Photoshop palette that has been docked into the Workspace to not appear when Photoshop is opened or brought to the top of the desktop. (Any undocked/floating palettes do appear as normal.) Double clicking on a file in Finder.Right-clicking on a file in Finder and selecting 'Open' or 'Open with Adobe Photoshop 2025.app'.Dragging and dropping a file on the Photoshop icon in the Dock. The only way to get the missing palettes to reappear is to switch to another app and then switch back to Photoshop. Switching can either be done via the following methods: Pressing Command + Tab twice.Clicking on another app icon in the dock and then clicking on the Photoshop icon in the dock. I think this bug has been around for a number of year

just updated to CC25 and now I'm not seeing any difference between 0% and 100% smoothing on the paintbrush tool. This is using the default brushes on their default settings. 

Hi, Canon, Sony and a few others have had the newer HEIF fileformat HIF for some years now.When will Adobe support those???Been longing for skipping jpg altogether a long time now.Ok, some willl say use RAW and I do mostly but sometimes one need the smaller filesize and HIF are supperior to jpg etc. /CekariYH

A few days ago Photoshop updated.  Now thgw welcome screen shows upo when i start the program (I had previously set it to never open) and remains present in the BG. I have the "Auto show the homescreen" option set off by default.. but I went aherad and toggled it on, then off again.. to no avail.  I also turned "Use Graphics processor" off.  Then on again.. also with no result. I'm on  windiws 11 professional and have the latest Photoshp (26.2.0) installed It's frustrating and it's maing it difficult to get any work done.  Any idea how I can fix this?

Hello everyone. OK, this has happened on several photos, but heres an example of the problem... I Have a photo of a young couple in a nightclub. Someone has walked past in the background as the photo was taken which has spoilt it. So I tick the 'Generative AI' box, cover over the person in the background, click remove and hey presto, the AI Generative Removal Tool has completely changed the person walking past to a completely different person!!!! And everytime I refresh again that person changes to someone else!!!! The person walking past in my photo is a young white lad wearing a white shirt. When I have clicked the Generative AI its turned the person either Black, Chinesse, Indian, from male to female, from young to old, wearing a baseball cap, smoking a pipe or a cigerette, wearing glasses, someone smiling, someone shouting, the list in endless!!!!! Where is the Generative AI getting all these people from and why is it putting them on my photo?????And also some beach photo

i have a file created in photoshop 2023 with text layers, and when exported to a pdf some text goes missing!? and i get this, with missing text...  

When I use the Brush Tool to add to a Layer Mask by painting black, it subtracts from the masked area instead of adding to it; when I change to brush color to White, that too subtracts from the mask -- so whichever color I use, foreground or background, the result is a subtraction from the mask?  What am I doing wrong?  How can I add to the mask?

Hi everyone, Not too optimistic about this one, but does anyone know if there's a way to pass arguments from Extendscript to AppleScript in Photoshop? I've been searching forever but the only method I've found for executing AppleScript from JSX in Photoshop is the following: var appleScriptFile = new File("~/Desktop/AppleScript.app"); appleScriptFile.execute(); Any ideas or workarounds are greatly appreciated. Hi there I'm fairly new to the latest version of photoshop, took a giant leap from 7. Now I've been playing with Generating Images from scatch and so far has done this twice I put in cat and door mouse and what I get is cat (correct) and a blue pigeon or cat and mouse both lying down. Can't seem to get the mouse standing upright. Also I had at the bottom of the canvas a window with just import Image and generate image but stupidly closed it as got in the way but now can't find it to put it back. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and this is the first time I have ever posted (in all my years) to the community 

I am using Photoshop 26.1.0 (Windows 11) with Content Credentials enabled. When I create an object using generative AI, various variations are suggested. As soon as I click on one of the variations, it is automatically added to the Ingredients section of the Content Credentials. Even if I later decide on a different variation, the previously clicked variation remains listed in the Content Credentials.

Why do you insist on force-inserting AI slop into all your products? I cannot simply open up Photoshop and run the Remove Tool. So I updated to PS 26.2, now default fonts are jacked up and don't load.   Why is this a thing now?I made an action to load certain text with font/sizing and such and for 6 years this has never been an issue until now.   It gives me this, if I click replace, it loads the wrong font, if I click cancel, it used to load the correct font from when this started yesterday or the day before when I updated, until now.  Either option it loads the wrong font and I have to manually search for the correct font.  Which defeats the purpose of having the action made to avoid this. The cloud is synced, other things that require to be synced to use are working.  Just the font issue. Of course now it's working by the time I finished this.   Problem is......it was ALREADY loaded as I JUST used it in a photo edit just before this one, PS has been open and I just moved to the next photo and used it, so it wasn't something like the typical cloud syn lag

Dort lässt sich dann der Wert für "Biegung" zwischen -100% und 100% eingeben (voreingestellt ist 50%). Ein Biegungswert von 100% führt zu einer bogenförmigen Verkrümmung von 180°. Ich benötigte aber 255°. Mein Workaround war, dass ich das Objekt halbiert und jede der beiden Hälften auf 127,5° verkrümmt habe, also mit dem Biegungswert 70,8%. Habe ich etwas übersehen? Gibt es in Photoshop die Möglichkeit, eine Verkrümmung von mehr als 180° direkt zu erzeugen, ohne vorherige Teilung des Ausgangsobjekts? Für Hinweise wäre ich sehr dankbar.

I've recently upgraded to CC after using older Adobe software for a very long time and I'm unable to see the pixel grid in my current version (23.5.5). I've checked previous posts on this and tried what has been advised (show extras options & resetting preferences on quit) and am still unable to see any 'show pixel grid' option anywhere. I know I can set my grid to pixels in preferences but this is no use as I'm always needing to use a different measurement for that and heavily rely on the pixel grid being visible at all times due to very precise artworking that is literally down to the pixel. I'm not going to change the preferences every time I need to zoom into pixel view... Pretty unimpressed by this seeing as PS is a pixel-based program! There must be a solution to this?

I'm trying to make some pixel art, however I can not seem to get my pixel grid to display, it just a white canvas. I have looked and looked but everything thing that i am finding to trouble shoot is already active on my PS file.I already tired view>show>pixel grid and nothing shows upI have also tired edit>preferences>advanced settings> and checked use openCL but its already checked and still nothing.I have messed with the guides, grid, & slices by changing it to a different color and still no gird shows up just a white canvas.I have also tried changing the graphics processor setting and still nothing.has any one run into this issue and know why is not working?
