Non persistent bug. User on low end PC. I assume it's a memory problem (eg: full memory leading to memory encode issue w/process priority or something).A number of layer groups labeled "uniquename.jpg" with various elements and text elements in each. Not sure how to test for memory leak. Hello, I am trying to access the cloud filter under render but it wont allow me to click it. How can I fix this. My file properties are RBG 8 bit, black background, 150 pix/inch
As described in title, I have multiple adjustment layers or Fill Layers and I change their mask's feather in Properties palette. At 100% zoom, everything's ok. At any other zoom, instead of the real aspect of the masks, I see boxes. If I turn back to 0 feather, everything's ok.I know that it's only a matter of view, the masks are ok, but when I work, as anyone else I zoom back and forth a million times and it's horrible to see your masks as a box. For example, being my image very big, I often use Fit on screen but I see all these boxes instead of my image. It doesn't happen with only one mask: in m y project I have 8 Fill layers whom I changed feather in Properties. Thanks for your suggestions. I can post images to show the issue.Lorenzo
I have also tried to download the action set from the article but the 2 links for older go to a 404 error not found. There is no link to a set past 2020. Can anyone please add the link for the newest set? https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/discover/article/transform-photos-into-watercolors-with-a-free-photoshop-action?locale=en
Hello Internet, Bug: When I draw, the Windows mouse cursor regularly appears instead of the brush cursor. config: -I use Photoshop with a graphics tablet. -I use a high-end desktop computer built by myself-photoshop is up to date What I tried: - Full screen mode (tab) - remove document rules (ctrl+r) -restart the computer -close all other applications.Any clue to help ?thanks
When copying and pasting an image (any image) into Photoshop 2024, the last 3 columns of pixels from the right side of the image are shifted to the beginning of the left side of the image. The same image pasted into GIMP, Paint, IrfanView, etc., pastes correctly. I’m assuming this is a known bug. Aside from using 'Filter > Other > Offset' every time, is there a permanent fix for this issue? FYI - Paste in Place (Ctrl+Shift+V) and New Layer via Copy (Ctrl+J) does not correct the issue. Sample image attached.
I replaced my 2017 i7 iMac with a 32GB Mac Studio M2 Max. I was expecting a performance improvement, but I've been having trouble. When I try to interpolate/resize the image from 60cm to 600cm and 75 dpi, using the “Image Size” command (Command+Option+i), the program crashes on “Rendering Smart Filters”, stops responding and stays like that for hours... I have to force the application to close. I've already downgraded the Photoshop version, also from Sonoma to Ventura, opened it via the Intel version, also the beta version, and changed the details in graphic performance, but all attempts were unsuccessful. I'd like to know how I can get around the situation so that I can use the device. Unfortunately, I'm still using my old iMac because Photoshop's performance on Mac Studio isn't working.
I have a problem that all punctuation signs are inverted when using hebrew text.Everything is configured to support right to left text as far as I know. How this can be solved? For example when the following setence:the dot is at the end of the sentece instead of the begining

When I use "save as" or "save a copy" to give an existing Photoship file a new name, or save it separately from the original, it saves just fine... but the original file is remaining openi, instead of the new file. So when I hit save of that working file, it's replacing the original instead of updating the new file as it should. Nightmare. Up until this last update, the open working file has always saved as the renamed new file, which makes sense. Saving over an original instead of as the new file doesn't, and has resulted in lost originals multiple times, since I didn't know it wasn't saving to the newest version. Is this something toggled on with the update that I can revert to how it's always worked in the past? I hate it so much. It means I have to save it, close the original, open the saved new version, then continue working.
Dear Photoshop-Team,THIS error now showed up. I followed the "fix it" suggestions, but to no avail. It would be preferable if you slowed down your release cycles in favor of a return to a smoothly running product. This may just be a minor issue for some, but unfortunately, it is a tool often used for work on a long-time client's ongoing project. Unfortunately a lot of these "minor issues" have not just occurred in my workflow, but also in partnered-up suites of friendly companies and friends. This software was a very reliable staple once. 😕😕It is a great product, but it is becoming increasingly unreliable in an industry that has more and more moved to "crunch time".Please change this!Used version: 25.11.0 20240716.r.706 b326a7d x64
Hi there, All of a sudden, the 16 bit mode stopped working in Photoshop 25.11 (Desktop/Windows). It was fine till yesterday but now I'm not noticing any change when I change the mode from 8 Bit to 16 bit. However, when I make the change to 32 bit, it seems to work fine. I'm attaching three screenshots below and the Color tab on the right verifies that there no change at 16 bits: At 8 Bit At 16 bit (no change) At 32 bit (seems fine) I've further verified this by editing the images at both 8 and 16 bits. And they are yielding identical results whereas this was not the case till yesterday. So can anyone tell me what's happening here? I've also tried reinstalling Photoshop, disabling and enabling GPU and a host of other things that Chat GPT told me to but nothing has worked so far. Would be grateful if someone can provide me a soution. Thanks!
When I try and open any JPG or PSD files in PhotoShop, I just get a big gray area where the actual image should be. I just exported an entire gallery from CameraRaw (with no issues working on the RAW files) and now I can't open the jpegs (or any other jpegs or PSD files) in PhotoShop. The thumbnails appear in the Layers panel, looking just fine but the entire area where the actual image should be is all gray. (All other panels are in tact.) And before anyone asks, it's not my files - it's most definitely the program.I tried unchecking GPU compositing in the settings as I saw suggested in another post and it does not help. **UPDATE: I reverted back to the previous version of PhotoShop and everything works fine. I had only used CameraRaw since the update to 25.4.0. While this is a simple solution, it is EXTREMELY frustrating to constantly have these issues. After not being able to do ANY people masking from April-September and then having to use a workaround to do ANY local adj
When pasting an image from the clipboard after copying from the Windows 11 Snipping Tool, it seems to be incorrectly interpreting the image. It has been happening for the past couple months maybe. It's easier if I just show you what I mean. Take this image, a rainbow gradient because it is more obvious: When I screenshot it with snipping tool (via rectangle selection), then hit the Copy button, then paste it into Photoshop, it looks like this: Basically it looks like 3 pixels are transposed from the right side to the left side, and if you zoom far into the bottom left, there are 3 RGB pixels. This happens every time. It does not occurr when pasting in to Microsoft Paint so I don't think the problem is necessarily snipping tool.
Photoshop is crashing when I changing size of image in image size in Mac OS (Ventura 13.6.9 but on previews systems it was the same) Usually it's a big image freshly opened photograph importet by ACR,when trying input new image size in image size panel Photoshop crashing sometimes (app simply closing by itself), but sometimes not, so I've done action for it, for make my work environment more stable. However isssue is really strange and annoying, especially when I have many opened images not saved yet, and I'm in rush.
New Photoshop the buggiest EVER. Not usuable for professionsals! I'm running Photoshop 25.11.0 on Mac M3. My professional background. Full time Apple employee with over 20 years experience in retouching.1) Gradient panel isn't even showing up in Properties. Cannot edit gradients.2) Random weird layers showing up when pressing the "command key" Then disappearing.3) History panel isn't working...wth??! Step backwards...nothing changes.4) Random crashes.I don't know whats happened to you Adobe. I hope the class action lawsuit gets you back on track.
So every now and then I can't move my canvas. I press space and click and drag the canvas and it moves but flashes at the same time, going back where it was when done (so not actually moving). It reminds me of what happens when using a mouse but having a pen on a graphics tablet roll around. I accidentally clicked it while the brush tool was active and it scribbled all over the screen, which makes me think something is going on with where it thinks the mouse is. This happens both when a tablet (Intuos 3) is connected and when one is not. The only fix is to restart, then it's fine until it isn't again. Photoshop is the ONLY program showing this issue, my mouse and tablet work fine in Illustrator and outside of Photoshop. It's very frustrating so I hope someone can help. Video of issuehttps://youtu.be/54qQt1R8T3k Windows 10 64 bit version 25.11 Was doing on previous version also.
so I just finished a project and I saved the design as PSD and when I opened that again photoshop displayed it as an image, help, please.
Issue: My usual workflow involves doing Window > Arrange > New Window to have two windows displaying the same file, followed by Window > Arrange > 2-up Vertical to display the windows side by side. This way, I can zoom in on all the intricate details of my file in one window, while having a slightly more zoomed out view on the second. (I know theoretically I could use the navigator for this, but I like having the 'zoomed out' view be a bit larger.)Unfortunately since the 25.11 update, there is a noticable delay or lag where the non-active window doesn't get all the changes right away as I work. This disrupts my workflow completely and is very frustrating for me. Downgrading to the previous version - 25.9.1 - fixed the issue entirely. Provide Photoshop version: 25.11Provide OS and version: Windows 11Provide good steps to reproduce the behavior:Step 1 - Create a fileStep 2 - Window > Arrange > New Window - this is to have two windows of the same file.Step 3 - W

My select tool no longer works. I get an error message that says "Could not complete your request select subject classifier model not loaded correctly". How do I fix this please?
Using PS 25.11.0 on a Mac Powerbook M3 Max, OS 14.3. When I try to use Dust and Scrathes I see the effect. I can toggle with preview to see effect and original but when I click OK it reverts to the original image.
