I like to think AI as a collaborator in my creative process. I draw the original sketch design then ask AI for input on rendering art style ideas. Adobe Firefly is a great tool to render different ideas quickly Adobe PHotoshop to refine the illustration idea by generating edits plus adjust any extra elements easily. This process is a timesaver. Then I go back in and redraw the character in Adobe Fresco to edit the details to match my artstyle. I call this process my AI sandwich workflow and it helps me save time and generate within seconds to move on to the next steps. It's like a shortcut! Now I can move on to the next steps with my client work whereas before, I had to manually test different art styles and render artwork over and over again until the client saw something that they liked. I want to hear about your process and how do you reconcile the newest technologies with your talents in today's new AI world?! Example generated in Fireflymade with FireflyGenerative Expand in Photos

Ever since I began using a CFexpress Type-B card, I've noticed that when I upload new files via Bridge, not all of the files are being read.As an example, I shot 34 images this morning, but when I began uploading via Bridge, it read only 24.I have my Bridge programed to open up the Photo Downloader when I begin the process.But, when I open Photo Downloader first, then Bridge, all of the files I shot are correctly read. Has anyone else have/had this problem? Is there anything that can be done to sort this out?

Hi guys. I'm working on a project, but a problem arose that is driving me crazy. Basically, I have a smart object with some filters I duplicated several times. At first, I can change the filters parameters normally, but as I proceed adding more layers and enriching the project, the problem shows up. When I try to change a filter parameters (let's say Levels), the layer preview becomes distorted and after applying the changes the aspect changes. I don't even have to change anything, I just open the filter to modify it, I confirm and the same happens. I think all this is related to the Chrome filter, because when I try to change a filter applied to a smart object (let's say I just open it) that doesn't have the Chrome filter applied, the preview becomes distorted, but the layer aspect doesn't change. I don't know what to do. There's no going back. The fun part is when I update the smart object content (even adding a new blank layer is enough) and I see the layer preview restored, so I th

unable to load any file from my Photoshop web file list due to error - since yesterday - have deadlines but unable to access my work

I initially used the colour range tool to select objects in my file, I then added additional parts to the selection. when I use the fill tool the outlines of other layers come through with varying levels of transparency. I have tried making it a mask and editing its opacity however it doesn’t seem to have a quick fix apart from going back and manually selecting everything. 

The image below shows a cello string running diagonally from point M to point F within a Transform control box.  Is it possible to freeze point F and move or rotate the transformation from point M?   

We would need guides that can be turned however we want.

Good evening,I took a 3 row astrophotography panorama last night. Bottom and middle layers have aligned and stitched together on. But the top layer, all stars, fails to align in Photoshop and lightroom. I've spent the afternoon searching on the internet and YouTube and can't find anything that's helped. It may be I'm not working what I'm looking to do well enough. I was using an automated pano tripod head and wondering if I can copy one row alignment to another? But haven't figured a way to do that. Does anyone have any ideas?Many thanks in advance,Sam 

I have a ton of shape layers that I’ve placed in a Photoshop document, and they are all different sizes. Hello everyone,I am currently building a new PC mainly for photo editing. I will be using an Intel 265K CPU. Back in December, I purchased an ASUS RTX 5060 Ti OC with 16GB GDDR7 (90YV0MG0-M0NA00). However, some friends recently told me that an RTX 5070 with 12GB would be a much better option, as it has the faster chip and also better for KI features.I frequently use the Denoise feature in Camera Raw within Photoshop, as well as the newer AI-based artifact removal tools. Since I haven’t opened the graphics card yet, I still have the option to exchange it for the RTX 5070.Do you think the RTX 5060 Ti is sufficient for this type of workload, or would upgrading to the RTX 5070 provide a noticeable real-world benefit for these features?Thank you in advance for your advice.Kind regards Christoph

Hi All, my new Adobe Photoshop 2026 upgrade has my Bridge Program,. and Photoshop 2026, but also there is a third window that shows old and deleted files. this keeps on popping up and it throws me, that and this new Imac Sequoia 15.5 that changed the shape of windows when i move them aside, andalso draws “selection” type blue boxes around “items” (open folders etc), even when they are sent to edges so i can use my old method of putting up two open folders side by side, split across a screen so i can compare, and drag & drop files.what is this new photoshop windoes called and how the heck can i stop it totaly driving me bats.? regards, Sandy

Hi, latest Pshop 2025. (except for last update)I go file open as>camera Raw and open a jpg image. (sent me from someone 20 yrs ago)I improve shadows etc. as they were almost black, open it, save it.I then notice I am missing the right hand part of it. Open the original and its also now cropped.Open in MSpaint its all there, save  suffixed MSpaint.jpgopen that into Pshop 2025 as a .jpg, its missing that area again.😡Why did raw crop it and its sent that instruction into the inner coding of the jpg.There is no .xmp file to delete to kill the ACR activity. as it was an open as method.What do I now do ?Why did ACR crop it ?I tried opening original .jpg  into gimp and its all there, I can’t see a way of file save as, as a .jpg.ring Adobe tech (yet again, keep finding bugs and problems in 2025) and get goodbye, as its the weekend.Merlin

The list of custom shapes is very limited. Previously I had access to many shapes. Now I only have a few animals, leaf shapes, flowers and boats. All the symbol shapes are missing. How do I import these back in to photoshop please? ThanksGraham

I got a script that someone kindly shared on these forums to toggle continuous on the polygonal lasso tool a few years ago (can't remember who shared it and I can't seem to find it anymore, unfortunately). It was working just fine until a few updates ago when it started showing an error message instead.Would anyone be able to help me with a script that works on the most recent Photoshop version? 

I can not resize my adobe apps With the directional arrows except for the Creative Cloud app. I've been battling this for about a week thinking I did something wrong, but I've come to the conclusion that it must be an Adobe issue. My Photoshop, InDesign, and illustrator are all the affected apps. I've tried many things from resetting the app to uninstalling it seems like the only fix is turning off the application frame but it still doesnt fix the whole issue. I have a 2025 MacBook Pro. 

I know I can set up Lightroom to print multiple images of different dimensions,  but would like to do the same thing in Photoshop.  I can’t seem to find the right tutorial on YouTube.  Can someone provide a link?  

V 27.3.1. Windows 11.When PS crash, my custom actions went missing. When I load my backup actions, some of my assigned shortcut keys for my actions are gone. Actions are still there but the assigned keys are gone. I have to manually add the keys to the actions.I then backup the actions to another name. I've just recently switched over to CC from CS6, so I'm still wonky on a few things regarding CC. One thing that especially bothers me is that I usually have the brush, color and layer tab opened and docked at all times. But when I switch between the Color and Swatches tab in my tab group, the Layer panel suddenly collapses completely unprompted!!I'd have to click on it again to maximize it again, this didn't happen in CS6 and I wanna know if this is fixable or not cause I don't want to have to physically reopen the Layer tab every single time I switch between Color and Swatches Tab. Please help me!!

When using the healing brush or spot healing brush and you are working on the edge of a selection, the sampling considers all pixels in the surrounding area. When you are making a selection to work on (eg: a light sky against a dark mountain) and want to do some healing in the sky, on the edge of the selection, the dark mountain will “contaminate” the healing of the light sky. It would be nice if it would only consider the pixels in the active selection, and not the pixels on the other side of selection line.Right now I must find other ways to heal on the edge of a selection.

If I’m using the Remove Tool without “remove after each stroke”, then I can make a selection/paint a lot of things and hit ✅ after that to remove all at once, which is really useful.However, If I’m doing that, painting/selecting everything I need to remove, and only then I realized I’m using the incorrect layer, or a layer mask for example… It doesn’t allow me to change layers while the tool is running.Please allow users to click on a different layer BEFORE hitting ✅ to commit changes
