Photoshop

My signature disappeared one day and now cannot upload a new jpg or png file to put my signature back in and have saved. Keep getting red box error message that my files are corrupt. I have macOS Tahoe 26.2.

Macbook Pro M1 Max, Apple Sequoia 15.1, PS 26.8.0  I just upgraded to PS 26.8.0. Now when I double click to open a photo, it remains in the background, covered by other windows. Why are my images not coming to the foreground when I open them? Is there a new setting I'm missing in PS 26.8.0?  Now every single time I open an image, I have to then click on that image once it's open for it to take focus. If it's completely hidden behind another window, I have to then close or move that window to see the image. The PS application itself takes focus as all the menus appear, but the image I double click to open remains behind whatever images and apps are opened. 

Currently looking for grasses brushes, but dk where to find them. Is there a place on Adobe I can view and download brushes? Would appreciate any suggestions.

I have an iMac with OS 15.7.3 with PS 27.3, I have been trying to use the Path Blur Tool in Filter/Blur Gallery/Path Blur on several different images one is a stock image that was suggested by Adobe in a troubleshooting article. and one where I have put clouds in a sky and want to blur them using the Path Blur Tool. When either image and I click on Filter/Blur Gallery/Path Blur the image automatically blurs, there isn’t any markers, I do get a pen with a “+” sign to the bottom right of pen.  When I click and drag nothing happens, When I just click on the image I get nothing as well QUESTION: are there know issues with the Path Blur tool?QUESTION: are there settings for PS 27.3 on my iMac I need to check?QUESTION: has anyone else experienced this problem? Thank you in advance for your help Michael

For the past ~7 years I’ve used the same workflow. I know it’s not the most efficient, but it has always worked—until Photoshop 26. I shoot with a Canon EF 8–15 fisheye that produces a circular image. My workflow has been:  Create a red circle layer as a guide Use Color Range / Color Select to select the circular image area Switch to the image layer Cmd+X (cut) Cmd+N → New Document   Up until now, Photoshop would create a new square canvas based on the clipboard, effectively preserving the full circular image in a square document. In Photoshop 26, something changed. When I switch layers, the bounding box changes to match the rectangular bounding box of the selection, not the circular selection itself. As a result:  Cmd+X copies only the rectangular bounding box Cmd+N creates a new canvas based on that bounding box, not the intended circular image area   This breaks a workflow I’ve relied on for years. Question:Did Adobe change how selections are interpreted for clipboard size

Hi Everyone.   Just to get this out of the way: I'm running Windows 10 (everything up to date), Photoshop CC 21.1.1, and an Ugee tablet (think poor-man's Cintiq).   When I launch photoshop to draw, things work fine for a while, but after about 20 mintes, when I use the hand tool (space, H, or by clicking on the tool) to move to another portion of the artwork, it starts snapping to the upper left. I could try dragging down, and it's even more up and left. If I keep trying to use the hand tool to move my view of the canvas, it ends up looking like this:   I've already tried turning on-and-off various swiping, scrolling, and overscrolling settings.   If I re-start the program, it works fine...for about 20 minutes, and then we're back to funky snapping.    I noticed other hand-tool errors were solved with the update, but like I said, this version of Photoshop is as up-to-date as possible. Hello I'm unable to download the Neural filters. It looks like it will start, but then stops and doesn't download anything. PS 24.3.0 MacOS Big Sur 11.7.4 iMac. Any tips?

 At the moment, when I open the timeline, the only option seems to be the one in the centre, to convert to frame animation, and the three dots on the bottom left (where the option was to convert to frames previously) is inoperable (Photoshop won't allow me to click on it). I can then convert to frames and edit, but when I try to convert to video timeline in order to sharpen and colour, the option to do so (in the same place as the three dots) is also not working. Does anyone have any idea of what has gone wrong? Have updated my Photoshop, etc., and can't see anything visibly wrong.

In this video [time 4.14-6.08] 4 times Marquee Tool is used to get gaps but whether gap dimension is same is questionable. Is there any way to get similar gaps with Marquee Tool? Create a Viral Typography Logo in Photoshop in JUST 10 Minutes! But in Illustrator there is a way to make gap similar. Is it advisable to create this logo in Ai and import the file to Ps?           

When I went to use my complementary credits I get a message, that I have used all my monthly credits. I have not for this month, I do not consume all my complementary credits each month. I have provided two screen shots displaying my subscription credits along with a screen shot showing the the error message.  Please advise

Since I reinstall macOS (26.2) on my macbook Pro (M1 Max 2021 - 32go RAM) Illustrator and Photoshop (maybe all adobe products, didn’t try yet) are acting bad. For photoshop, first start, I get this screen when I try to open a simple PNG… I have 680Gb of brand new free available space and it tells me drives are staurated. How can it be ?

Hello all! I've spent the past two days pulling my hair on this issue:I have a reasonably powerful laptop (i9 from 2020 and RTX 2070, 32GB of ram, hundreds of GB on scratch disk) and Photoshop generally runs extremely well, except when meta Quest Link (the VR headset app) is installed on my computer. If Meta Quest is installed, even when photoshop is the only thing running, with all Oculus Services turned off in System Configuration, Photoshop is extremely laggy with the most basic of tasks (round brush on a 2k canvas), and draws 100% CPU and GPU for that. This is a PSA since I do graphic design professionally and the past 2 days have been unproductive while I troubleshoot very poor photoshop performance.The short version is that my laptop has an rtx 4070 in it and intel integrated graphics, pretty standard setup. Photoshop can see and correctly selects the 4070, but looking at the utilization, it's not being used at all. Performance was terrible and hardly usable.I tried many things to track down the issue but I finally did. After popping into Illustrator and looking at the list of GPUs in the performance tab I noticed a new display adapter:Meta Virtual Monitorthis is installed when using the quests remote desktop or potentially horizon workrooms. It was installed on my computer without me knowing and was confusing photoshop causing poor performance. Even after everything I did to force my dedicated gpu in photoshop it refused to use it when this display adapter was active.Disabling it in device manager fixed the issue. I hope this help

 I wanted to share a fix in case it helps others, because this issue had me stuck for nearly a month.Photoshop was crashing instantly whenever I tried to open a file (JPG, PSD, TIFF) on Windows 11. Disabling GPU acceleration, resetting preferences, and reinstalling Photoshop did not resolve it.I copied the full Photoshop crash report into ChatGPT to help interpret what was happening. The crash log consistently pointed to a DirectX 12 adapter issue during file open, specifically related to a virtual display driver installed with Meta Quest / Oculus.In my case, the culprit was Meta Virtual Monitor.What resolved it:I uninstalled the Meta Quest / Oculus software from Windows Apps, then opened Device Manager, enabled “Show hidden devices,” and removed the Meta Virtual Monitor entry under Display adapters (making sure the driver was removed). After rebooting, Photoshop opened files normally and has been stable since. Posting this here in case anyone else is experiencing unexplained crashes o

Hi, I am trying to make repeating shapes from this porcupine shape. This is just a poorly done example I tried making in photoshop using the stroke blending option.This might be something that can only be done in Illustrator, I am not sure. I'd like to take the original shape of the porcupine and make it 3% bigger everytime but stay conformed to the shape. It's easy to do with a circle or square (using actions in photoshop) but not with an irregular shape like this. I'd like for each shape to be its own layer so I can change the color and opacity. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I've tried restarting, but the error persists. Here are my specs and what I've tried so far:App & Version: Photoshop 26.1OS: Windows 11 (or macOS 15.2)Hardware: 16GB RAM, 512GB Internal SSD.Current Disk Space: My C: drive shows 45GB free, but Photoshop still won't let me [open a file / use a filter].What I've tried: I went to Preferences > Scratch Disks, and my main drive is checked. I also tried clearing my 'Purge All' cache, but it didn't help.

The latest version of Photoshop removes the option to save to the default location locally, FORCING us to see the Save To Cloud dialog every single time we create a file. The fact is that the greedy aging boomer fascists at Adobe see the writing on the wall, that their monoliths are crumbling like sand castles, and this is just a pathetic death rattle.
