Photoshop Elements

 My current computer, which is running Windows 10 and Photoshop Elements 2021, cannnot be upgraded to Windows 11.  I am looking at purchasing  a new computer and buying the new Photoshop Elements 2026.  My current catalog and all my images are on an external hard drive.  Could it be as simple as just plugging in that hard drive on the new computer and pointing to the catalog or is there a "gotcha" somewhere that I am missing?  

Hello,I just dowloaded Photoshop Elements 2026 and I cannot anymore see the see the pics before and after at the same time, it this normal? The button offers only before or after, not anymore both together. If this is a bug I hope it will be fixed quickly, if it is normal then it is really a loss of functionality ! Is there an easy way to still see both together?  Thenks for any feedback!

Is it possible to move the Photoshop [Elements] 13 program from a older laptop to a newer one?     ("Elements" added by moderator as per later post)    

I have been using PE 2026 since purchasing recently without any issues, but now I cannot load the program. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I can use it once then when I try again I cannot load it again. Can anyone help with this problem please?

Organizer 2026 documentation says we can :create new category of albumattribute a category to an albumwhen i make add (+) in album left window, Organizer does not propose anything else than a new album in right window as per attachement.what is the procedure?note: I have backed up a catalog from organizer 2019 and restored it on organizer 2026. all data seems correct (faces, notes...)  Is there specific actions when restoring a catalog from older version?thanks for your help

I'm trying to migrate my Father's photo catalogs from a Time Machine backup to Elements Organizer 2026 on Mac. I find Elements+ incredibly useful (Quick Mask > Gradient Tool, for example) but I've never experimented with its Blend If feature to manage channel noise before today.  The sliders don't seem to do anything.  I get that this Photoshop Elements discussion's forum isn't for Elements+ specific topic's so I'm only hoping for a quick tip if any user's have anything to offer.  Thank's.

How do you save colour swatch panel so that you don't have to reload it every time you open Elements 2026?  Every time I try to save a swatch it fails. The old Elements 2013 never had this problem. This is ridiculous. and why isn't there a decent manual for elements 2026? Never heard of books?

We have three printers that we need to print to as they each have a different paper/canvas in them; they are the Canon Pro 2100, 2600 and 4100. When we try to print to any of the printers they only print to the 2100. The 2100 is set as the default printer for the PC but if we let Windows manage the default printer, then we get an error of "because the defualt printer could not be opened" whenever we try to print. I have tried resetting the preferences in the app (by going to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button) but it only solves the issue for a few prints before we run into the same issue again. Is there something more permanent that we can do?

Hallo, seit Ende Dezember 2025 versuche ich Photoshop Elements 2026 zu nutzen. JPEG-Dateien lassen sich bearbeiten, RAW-Dateien nicht. Angeblich ist die Version Camera Raw 17.3 bereits enthalten, ich werde jedoch immer wieder aufgefordert Photoshop Elements Add-on Utilities 2026 zu installieren. Funktioniert jedoch nicht, weil die Datei für den Bildschirm zu gross ist.  Also habe ich sinnlos die neue Version gekauft, alle Versionen seit PSE 12 haben problemlos Raw-Dateien  bearbeitet. Leider habe ich keine Ahnung, wie ich PSE 2026 nutzen kann. Alle Hinweise auf Installations-Dateien habe ich bereits ausprobiert. Ich hoffe, dass andere Nutzer nicht soviel Probleme haben.

Have Phothop elememts  10 installed.My PC crashed and I dont know the pugin I used previosuly, can remember what the name was.We have a Canon IpF8400 printer. We are in need of reliable plugin. I have just upgraded to Elements 26.2 on a new M5 Macbook. I cannot get watermarks added to images when running process multiple files. Is there and issue that I should be aware of? I am doing nothing different than what I was doing with the old version.

Bonjour,J'utilise depuis 2 ans photoshop Element 2024 sur un PC win 11 pro "gonflé".Jusqu'à hier, je pouvais utiliser Camera Raw à partir de PE 2024 (onglet fichier/Ouvrir dans Camera  Raw) sans problème.Aujourd'hui ce même geste ouvre toujours camera raw mais après avoir sélectionner une photo, j'ai immédiatement le message "La fonction RAW de la camera nécessite une accélération du GPU pour modifier les photos".J'ai vérifier dans les préférences que Edition/Préférfences/Performances que mon processeur graphique est détecté, c'est bien la cas mais il est indiqué Intel HD Graphics 530 alors que je possède une NVIDIA Quadro M1000M. Cependant cette dernière n'est pas proposée au niveau de ce menu.Je pense que le problème vient de là mais je ne sais pas comment faire pour "dire" à PE 2024 qu'il faut utiliser le GPU NVIDIA et non l'Intel.Merci de votre aide

I recently upgraded to Photoshop Elements 2026 from an older version. On the old version, I could open multiple JPG files, edit each one, and then when I clicked the "X" in the upper right hand corner to exit I would get 3 prompts for each edited file: Save changes to the Adobe Photoshop Elements document <name> before quitting?Select JPEG Image options (e.g., Quality)Enter file name, defaulted to the original file name, but allowing me the chance to change it (similar to a Save As). In the 2026 version, I no longer get the 3rd prompt. On exit I get the first 2 prompts for each edited JPG and then it automatically overwrites the original.  I looked through all of the settings but don't see anything that would change this behavior back to the previous version.  Is there any way to get the 3rd prompt back? Thanks.

How do I remove a disconnected file from Photoshop Elements 2026 Organiser?I have deleted a file from its original location but Organiser still keeps referencing it and simply thinks it is disconnected.

Ich habe Photoshop Elements 2026 als Downloadversion gekauft, einen Einlösecode erhalten und heruntergeladen. In meinem Adobe-Konto wird die Software korrekt aufgeführt. Allerdings kann ich  Elements 2026 nicht starten, es wird imme nur einen "kostenlose Testversion" angeboten. Nach einigen Versuchen habe ich die Meldung erhalten, dass der Kauf nicht erkannt worden sei.Was kann ich tun, dass ich meine gekaufte Software verwenden kann?

My 2025 Photoshop Elements was working fine for all of 2025, but recently I can’t use the Clone or Healing Brush tools.I've tried rebooting Photoshop Elements 2025 and going to Edit>Preferences>General> and choosing “Reset Preference on next launch”.After exiting the program and relaunching it, I’m still not able to use the Clone or Healing brush tools.
