Photoshop Elements

I have run Full and Incremental backups for years and the size of the backup has always been troublesome for my now 100,000 photos & videos.  If I am already backing up my photos and videos by other means (some files are in cloud storage and others get backedup when I backup an entire hard drive) am I adequately protected if I only use "Backup Catalog Structure"?  It would make life so much easier and I'd likely do the structure backup after every use instead of the current (gulp) 4x/yr at most.Thanks,Wayne

When saving a copy of an edited photo, the time attribute is shifted by 5 hours (I think) from the original file prior to edit.  How can I save a copy and have the time attribute the same as the original file (which seems to me to be correct).  Incidentally, the date attribute seems fine.  

Good afternoon, Just purchased PSE 2026. Organizer is loading and works well. Photo editor doesn't load at all. There is a window saying: "photo editor workspace loading" that disappear after more than 15 seconds and that's all. It was exactly the same issue with the free version I tried before purchasing PSE 2026.If it can help, I uninstalled a more than 20 years old PSE version before dowloading PSE 2026.The computor is brand new and runs Windows 11.Can anybody help? Thanks.

Whenever I try to work with TIF files created on my Epson scanner I get the following error message.  What do I need to do differently?  I have over a TB of free disk space, so space isn't the problem.  At 15MB, this isn't a large file.   Thanks. Indefatigable_0-1767650813480.png 

Hallo, ich hatte in PSE2024 und nun auch in PSE 2026 rund 39.000 Fotos und einen kleinen Anteil Videos (in einem Katalog) in der Verwaltung.Ich habe das Problem, dass die Menueleiste (Datei, Bearbeiten, Suchen...) im Organizer sich weder mit Mausklick, noch mit Tastenbefehl öffnen lässt. Auch bei der Gesichtserkennung lässt sich ein Sub-Menue bei den "Bestätigten Gesichtern' nicht durch Rechts-Mausklick öffnen. Was muss ich tun ? Kann ich was tun ? Oder ist Photoshop Elements 2026 mit rund 40.000 Fotos überfordert ? Gerne höre ich eure Hilfe.

What's the best way to remove text and/or image bleed-through from the white background of a scanned newspaper article?

hi - i have Adobe elements orgainser 2023 and 2025 on my Macbook.  I am now running out of disc space, so i bought an external drive to move them to.  I can back up the cataloges but cant find or restore cataloge.  I need / want to move Adobe Element organiser from my laptop to a separate hard drive. How can i move the complete system to a hard drive?  PS cant find where my catolge is to 'restore'.   Thank you Noel 

Today I opened up my Photoshop Elements 7 to add photos. I was able to tag them with the Album and the People's names, but I don't see the tags in the bottom right corner anymore. The only way I can see them is to right-click on the individual photo, and then click on Remove Keyword Tag. Then a list comes up with the tags listed vertically.  All of my photos, not only the ones added today, have this issue now. Is there anyone out there who can help me with this?  I am no expert, so I need things explained carefully and step by step.  I am guessing/hoping that it is a matter of finding a setting that needs changing, but so far I have had no luck in finding it. I will keep looking, though.  I appreciate any help you can give me.

I find i am unable to download Elements 2026 because i get  a messages "Error API key invalid". Currently i am running on Elements 2024 and wish to update . Can any one help 

I downloaded JPG files from an OM Systems OM-1 body in the advanced Import dialog in Elements 2025, changing file names to the shoot sequence. When I uploaded these unedited images to Smugmug, system errors were detected on the upload. Smugmug engineers determined there were metadata errors in these files that prevented their upload.  I then created a test folder and simply copied the files from the memory card. Those uploaded normally. to Smugmug. I'd like to talk to an Adobe support tech and can send relevant files from both tests. I also have the Smugmug metadata error screen grabs to see what they received in the upload to Smugmug. It appears that the errors were introduced in Elements.

After recently getting over problems with 2026 update i now find i am getting a problem with error number 24 popping up. Can anyone please help?  

I have a Macbook Pro M1 Max using Tahoe. I installed Ver 26.2 of Photoshop Elements 2026 (see photo below). There's no option to disable Scrubby Zoom. 

In my Photoshop Elements 2026 on Windows 11  the color swatches are empty.Even an new Installation had no success.

Warum funktioniert in PhotoshopElements2026 im dazugehörigen CameraRaw 18.0 die RAW-Details und Entrauschen und Super-Auflösung nicht. Dieser Funktionen werden im Camera Raw angezeigt, aber haben ein Ausrufezeichen und lassen sich nicht aktivieren. Habe 24MB NEF Bilder unbearbeitet. Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen. Vielen Dank.

How can I make a long banner with four pictures side by side. I cannot figure this out.Thank You

My organizer file is very large, as I have 25k + photos and videos. I ran the auto scan on my Mac and it took over 12 hours to run, and it did complete.  However, now when attempting to use the organizer, it loads and then defaults out after about 10 seconds.  My opinion is that data file created is corrupt (too large) and I would like to remove and run again, with just a small subset of files. Can you provide a process for me to accomplish this?

I successfully converted from PSE 24 to PSE 26 with a catalog of 211,000+ objects.  Everything was good.  However, the name of the converted Catalog was "2024 Catalog 1" which was not to my preference.  I followed Adobe's advice for how to rename - and have done so to "2026 Catalog 2" - as this was my second attempt to cleanly rename.  Well after the rename - every time I enter Organizer, I receive the attached error message - which I can just bypass - and open the catalog normally from the Manage Catalog Dialog Box.  I've tried to Optimize the 2026 Catalog 2 (that worked fine), yet I still get the annoying error messge even after the optimize.  I'd prefer to maintain one catalog (more effective searching) - if possible.  It seems to me that the Rename feature introduced a problem into the 2026 Catalog 2.  Any advice?

I've been having trouble with Adobe Photoshop Elements Version  2022  20.0 So I stuipdly bought the newest 2026 vesion and it is still giving me the same error message about the default print not being able to open.  I tried a different .jpg file and now am getting a message that says"The saved printer information is not compatable with this version of Photoshop Elements or the saved printer is no longer available.  You will need to check you printer settings before printing. I have very recently purchased Adobe Photoshop. My operating system is Windows 10. I did the purchase by clicking on a link wich poped up from my already installed. One other question is why did adobe let me buy the latest version wich can not be installed in my operating system. Can't I get the oleder version without buying anything additional. Adobe should have not allowed me to buy the Photoshop version, the latest, as my operating system Windows 11. How can I get any new or older Photoshop version run on my Windows 10. What solution can Adobe give me.

I re-installed my Canon 6000 series printer on my laptop and it will no longer print images.  Also other image processing programs will not print.  The printer prints text from windows and Word just fine.  I have reinstalled the program, etc. and noting seems to work. Any ideas?  I wastold I have a corrupted prointer driver, but reinstallation did not help.

I recently installed Elements 2026.  I had downloaded a number of photos from the iCloud in HEIC format.  I was using the Process Multiple Files dialog to simply change to JPEG.  Selections:  Input source directory;  "Same as Source" for destination; Convert Files to:  JPEG Max Quality.  When imported into the organizer the DateTimeOriginal is not shown in the Metadata and the Date Time is set to to the Date Created time stamp (time of importing).  Therefore, the photo is out of sequence against others when sorting based on Newest Date.  In addition there is no camera information displayed in the MetaData .  NOTE:  I still have Elements 2025 installed and this does not happen when using the same process.  The Date Time Original is correct and displayed in the organizer.  How can I get this reported as a potential bug?  Screen shot of Windows File Explorer attached showing the two sets of files.
